I was actually interested in possibly getting a loan so I checked out some of the professional services available. Just google "bitcoin loans" and a half-dozen reputable websites pop up. Then I realized this forum was here too... Personally, I'd rather go through a reputable site but you may actually find a better interest rate here if you could mange to have some sort of reasonable collateral. I think it's too risky here though.

I need a loan for 10 BTC. I need it to get away from my abusive father until I can find someplace permanent. I do have money but its with my friend and I can't get it until memorial day weekend. Ignore the sob stories that users post - it's just a scam to get your coins. If a person really is in such a situation, they can turn to family, friends or other social circles they frequent. They are just posting in our community because the payment is anonymous and irreversible.
