The best Bitcoin investment advice you can get is to get off zero.  Establish a way to buy and store Bitcoin.  That's step 1 (from an investment standpoint).  Perhaps more importantly, you need to learn about Bitcoin so you know what it is you own.  The rest is easy.  Don't get hacked.  Don't do anything dumb.  Don't sell the bottoms.  All you have to do is slowly but surely buy Bitcoin on a regular basis and in 4 years you will be so happy you did.  What not to do is go all-in and then sell a few months later for a 50% loss.  I've seen that happen more than I've seen people slowly accumulate and be successful.

I originally wanted to buy Bitcoin at a price when Bitcoin was at $60k, but I got my money later than I thought.

When I'm paying attention to the news I hear a lot. Many voices claim Bitcoin will moon and skyrocket to new all time highs in 2025, they talk about 200k or 300k $ per Bitcoin. Others are talking about a crash to 60k $ or even lower, from which Bitcoin will start to recover. The scheme from 2020 to 2022.

Of course I want to get a good entry price and that's why I'm asking you, people who have seen and experienced a lot when it comes to Bitcoin.

I will store the Bitcoin on a cold wallet, I have already thought about it.

I don't want to discourage you from buying Bitcoin but if you are buying Bitcoin because you think people say Bitcoin will be going to 200k and 300k respectively, then I advice you to leave Bitcoin and go do something else because that's their opinion and speculation. The Bitcoin market doesn't give a damn about what you think, the same speculation can go up more than where they say and it can go dip than where the price is currently trading.

Buy Bitcoin with funds you know you don't have the need now, you will regret it if things don't go as you expected and you may even don't want to have anything to do with Bitcoin again. Just buy Bitcoin and believe that one day, you will see the price in somewhere better and you will reap the fruit of been patience, don't do it because people say it's going to do this and do that. There is high probability that what they say will not happen and it's possible if things go well for Bitcoin.

Hello, I have been wanted to buy Bitcoin for some time now and I have been looking into Bitcoin.

I want to invest some of the money I’ve got from a real estate liquidation, about 50-100k $. I am not looking for a big profit, but want to secure the value. I definitely plan to hold the Bitcoin for a few years, at least 1-2. A sudden drop in the price of Bitcoin would not scare me.

I wish you all the best for expressing your interest in Bitcoin investment.
I agree that the decision to invest in Bitcoin is a good one.

Bitcoin is first and foremost a digital, decentralized currency. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are most popular all over the world for their price volatility.Since you are new to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency investing, you must apply some guidelines.

For example:
Gain market knowledge.
Ensure safety.
Determine investment risk.
Use trusted platforms.
Plan for the long term.
Analyze the market.
Comply with local legal guidelines.
Seek advice from wise people.

These steps must be followed before investing; otherwise, the investment involves high risk and may result in the complete loss of your money. Do your own research and be aware of the risks to make the right decision.

Note: Wise people say that taking the right decision at the right time is a big gain in life.

Bitcoin has pulled back into a significant buying zone 90k few days ago and is currently at 94k, from its highest price of 108k, for me, I'm expecting that Bitcoin will still dip down a bit into $89k-$85k base on my own technical analysis of the market; therefore it's quite good if you start placing your buy orders from this zone 94k downwards and split your funds to buy on areas of value using DCA strategy.

The price is too high atm. It is not easy to buy during this time as it might be a regret in a couple months from now, we know how the market behaves and one piece of advice that I can give is buy when you want to, or when you think the price is the lowest where you can afford to lose for months til it run bullish again.

If you follow ETF flows, you will see that they were even willing to buy when bitcoin price crossed $100k and I think they know what they are doing. Not to mention, there have been many lessons learned in the past. Many people thought that bitcoin price was too high and not worth buying when bitcoin reached $10k, $20k or $50k but surely most of them are regretting it now. So I disagree saying that the current price is too high.

Bitcoin is  unpredictable, many people are worried that the price of bitcoin will drop to $60k in the next few months but don't forget that the opposite can also happen. Bitcoin could also rise to $150k or $200k before correcting, and there is also no guarantee that the price will drop below $90k again. So, instead of procrastinating, why don't we use the DCA strategy and start buying now?

Are you afraid of losing your money? At least you already have the basics of investing, why be afraid to start again. I think in this case it is best that we already have the money. In my opinion, we don't need to delay and wait until the price drops to buy bitcoin, it is best to buy it as soon as possible. What if the $60K price doesn't come back, are you still waiting for it to come back? These are all just predictions, no one can predict accurately.

Of course everyone wants to get a good price for their investment, with the DCA method we will definitely get that price. Of course we can see or observe people's experiences with bitcoin, how they patiently saved it when bitcoin was not as valuable as it is now. And look what he got in those digital assets, his assets increased many times over.

You should wait for the crash at its price as low as possible from it's current price in order to acquire more bitcoin when buying bitcoin using the budget you mentioned or not. If you cannot wait for the price to decrease then you can buy portion by portion until you accumulate the amount you wanted. If you are not aware of it then you can make your own research about how DCA works and what's the best way to do it.

But how far will Bitcoin price correct and where will this correction end? What will be the lowest bottom? I don't think any of us can predict the bottom of bitcoin in this correction.
The fact that we cannot predict bitcoin price already answers the OP's question. As many people here says that the best time to buy is anytime, I can agree that bitcoin is a great investment if you want your money to sleep for a very long time.

Admittedly, investing in bitcoin is difficult at the moment. Waiting is also not a wise decision as bitcoin price can continue to increase at any time but buying now is also risky as the opposite scenario can also happen. In my opinion, ideally anyone looking to invest at this point should use the DCA strategy. Don't think too much and hesitate because no one can know how bitcoin will move in the coming days.

The current crash is obviously a good point for you to take entry for the short term, and honestly just ignore those guys who are speculating the $200k and $300k, here I'm not saying that Bitcoin is not gonna hit those targets but your optimistic expectation should b on some realistic grounds in my views we are gonna hit a peak somewhere between 140k to 180k, I know that a big range of 40k in my speculation it is based on the hype and boost from some upcoming USA policies in favor of Bitcoin lets hope for good.

Yes, the price is correcting quite deeply at the moment and this is the goal that Whales want to buy at an even lower price.
Some retail traders seem to panic and continue to throw it away, but this decline is indeed a good opportunity to start entering slowly and see where Bitcoin will fall.

Waiting for trump to be inaugurated and the price of bitcoin will try to break through the new ATH again and if this happens a big FOMO will occur.
And about the $200k-$300k price speculation maybe this will be a long-term speculation, but for the short term and enough to reach the current $150k++ will be a reality if the bullish scenario after Trump is inaugurated really happens.

Now it is only necessary to fill the bag more, so that it can get more profits when the rise arrives.

No advice from me, the fact you already know there are some people predict Bitcoin price will cross $200K and some of them predict Bitcoin will dump below $60K. Also you plan to hold your coins in cold storage, which mean you know about safety of your coins.

The only thing I can talk is about privacy, if you care with privacy, you should buy coins from sites listed on kycnot.me, but if you don't care about it, you can buy from anywhere. So, do whatever you want.

Doing everything OP said responsibly would transform into a good investment in the long run.
Wink We didn't see much of the action that would come down the line in 2025.

I will store the Bitcoin on a cold wallet, I have already thought about it.

First I would like to say that you have a good start, especially storing your Bitcoin in a cold wallet, more secure and it's important. I am quite sure that nobody times the market 100% correctly everytime, even professionals. Yes, Bitcoin might be very volatile, but if held for some years, the price usually pays off. It's smart that short term drops won't scare you, but no one truly knows if it'll skyrocket or dip further. Rather than going all in, consider DCA, buy smaller amounts over time.  Since you invest such an enormous amount, spreading your entry may turn out to be less stressful for you and quite strategic. Though you probably won't need it, but good luck with your investment!

To get a good price to buy, people generally look for potential declines, but the current high price will deter someone from starting especially for people who are new to bitcoin. A big drop like you talked about above might make it difficult for someone to approach buying because bitcoin has passed the 60 thousand dollar mark and you need to study the market conditions to have an idea of how bitcoin has been and that will give you a view to start buying.

No need to worry about the purchase price because bitcoin will continue to increase when the halving occurs and will also indicate a new price increase after the ATH is reached. This is a moment that can be utilized and when you are sure to start, do it according to your financial capabilities gradually.

For the rest 2 and 3 years bro nope if you buy now the time after 2 years and 3 years would be the bear zone in my view that should be your DCA tie not an exit time, you should wait until eve after a few months of the next halving to book profits. We can hit 1M as well anytime soon just based on speculations but for sure it's achievable in the long run.

You have to decide what you want, if you already have Bitcoin knowledge and also knows all the possible risk, then you can go ahead with your decision but what I want you to know is that Bitcoin might  not actually get to the price you expect it to be in the next two years that you intend to hold the coin, it could be a bearish season for Bitcoin and if that happens, can you hold a little longer till the bill market starts again?

My advice is to wait the crash before buy the coins, right now bitcoin is in the ATH and the crash will come in some poin, but since your goal is to hold them for some years better wait for the prive to go down and then buy, that's the right move for the long term.

And a good option is to invest in different coins and not only in bitcoin, you should think about It.

Considering the fact that no one can be certain and to which level the price could down, buying at any price points is good especially for a newbie that is still very early in his or her Bitcoin accumulation journey, the waiting strategy could actually be a waste of time since the DCA strategy can make things much easier for coming in to Bitcoin with a long term goals and objectives, since the DCA strategy allows investors to make purchases of Bitcoin irrespective of the price points on different intervals just with any amount they can be comfortable with, I will always advise that a newbie should first build his or her psychology in Bitcoin investment before considering venturing whether or not they need to buy other coins because Bitcoin is less volatile and risky when compared to other coins.

You already have the money and you already have the right basic knowledge to invest in Bitcoin, so what else do you need? Just buy Bitcoin and hold it in your cold wallet, no need to think too much about how the market is moving now, or if you are still a little hesitant you can do DCA or accumulation. But it seems that holding 1-2 years is still quite short, at least you can hold more than that so your chances of securing profit are higher.

The few steps to comsider before start anything is on ground because even if the knowledge is  available money to invest is still very important but looks like they are both available that is the money and the basic knowledge unlike one is always missing and the most important is to buy from a secure source because there people all over telegram claiming they have bitcoin to sell which are all lies because one of the easiest way people fall victim now is through social media.

So it is always better when you buy from a secure exchange and then send to a secured wallet and another challenge is how are they going to keep there seed phrase safe because most people find it very hard to know how to safe there, a lot of people always have the habit of saving it online which is even the worst way to Lee your seed phrase safe, offline is the best. And both DCA and accumulation is the best because you won't even feel ot that much when you are buying.

If you follow the cycle after Bitcoin halving, there is usually the potential for Bitcoin to experience a hype train and break through its previous ATH. This has happened when Bitcoin passed $70k and is currently around $90k. But I think it's not too late if you want to invest in Bitcoin. Actually you have many options such as diversifying by putting your money in meme coins or altcoins like ETH, SOL or BNB. But you said you don't need significant returns or profits but you want to secure the value of your money I think Bitcoin is the best choice. As a warning, all crypto investment choices are in your hands. Don't trust anyone easily. You can accept other people's advice but you also have to do analysis and invest at your own risk.

If your goal of investing in bitcoin is not to make big profits, then what is your purpose in wanting to invest in bitcoin? And as one person said, holding for 1-2 years is quite a short period of time and not ideal because bitcoin is very unpredictable. You are unlikely to make a profit during that period and sometimes even lose money if the bear season lasts longer than expected. While bitcoin can give you returns faster than real estate, it is not so fast that it can give you 3 or 5 times returns in 1 to 2 years, so consider it carefully .

Of course I want to get a good entry price and that's why I'm asking you, people who have seen and experienced a lot when it comes to Bitcoin.

No one knows what will happen in the short and medium term, bitcoin price could rise to $200k-300k and then fall, or it could fall to $60k from now. No one knows what will happen but in the long run, it is entirely possible that bitcoin price will reach $200k or even $500k. But the problem is that no one knows the exact time and who can hold out until then. That's why people tell you that holding for 1 or 2 years is too short to make a profit on your bitcoin investment.

What advice do you want to receive? In your topic, there is only desire and independent decisions about investing. Should you wait for a better price? No, you should buy now; sometimes waiting will work against you. Where and how to store your bitcoins, as you can see, you have already decided. Likewise, you seem to understand volatility, and you are not afraid of some swings in the growth of Bitcoin. The only thing that confuses me is the time; I would suggest thinking about a longer period of holding Bitcoin. Likewise, if you are a beginner, check your knowledge of storing the Bitcoin seed phrase and the rules for conducting transactions. Read the stories of those who were impatient and began to sell in panic, losing their initial investment value.
