I need help so some developer can create an offline wallet for my waves token. Shocked

You must contact the developer to discuss this, and that is the only choice. if you can make an offline wallet it might make you have a job from your expertise. and this can produce for ico that doesn't have its own wallet platform

You should contact with the authority I guess. I don't know the actual method but you can always google it.

No developer can help you with your project in my opinion. As it is said earlier that waves token mantains its own integrated exchange platform. But just for absolute surety you can contact with them.

There are harldy any options for waves tokens to be stored offline. They are designed to work and be stored in wave's personalized platform.

No internet, we can not do anything else! Except for one thing you need to break into deepweb to trade. But it is a very dangerous place and there have been many deaths because login is not allowed. Offline wallet is not possible so you should not expect too much.

Firstly, I think you want to mention cold storage rather then private keys offline, because, of course, we are always possible to keep our private key offline by writing down it.

I believe that using an airgapped PC is the best way to store privatekeys.

However a ledger nano is a simple solution for any newbie, as creating an airgapped computer is not an easy task for a newbie.

I use a ledger myself, as I don't have an extra offline computer..

Just wondering why OP choose to create wave based token rather than erc20 or eos.
I mean that can be more promising than having it on waves. Well don't get me wrong but honestly I still didn't see any wave based token that's now a good one.
When we do talk about the current condition of Waves I can say that Erc20 is more better and talking creating would really be just easy too
but on waves too you can make a token on a very cheap price. If you can make it on your own there are lots of coin developers and as being
said you can hire someone either on services or project development sections.

You would definitely have to go through the waves community for something like this.
I doubt you will find anybody here on bitcointalk, especially the altcoin discussion section.

I am wondering though, why waves?  Is it because it is cheap?
There isn't that much of an ecosystem over there and there are other clear winners for token generation (particularly neo).

and why would you want an offline solution?
Is that something to offer your token userbase?
Or something you just would like to personally use.
The reason I ask is because with smart contract platforms, even if you have an offline wallet, your tokens are still as secure or vulnerable as the platform itself.
So you will still be at the mercy of waves.
Granted, it will be more secure than random phishers or hackers though.

You should visit the websiote and download the desktop wallet.
https://client.wavesplatform.com/ this will help you.
But i think that there will be no posible to send any tokens without the internet connection.

It is no matter of help, it's just a demand and very legit one. As wave have their own base of keeping and exchanging the coins. But you can give them your suggestion to develop one.
I think that there is no problem in this and today many developers are acting in exactly this format. Although a person can be understood, he is worried about the safety of his coins.

You probably need to be more specific. A "wallet" off line is simply something that will hold your private WAVES key and that is as simple as encrypting a file with the key on it.

It seems to be more appropriate if you submit directly to the waves developer, I think it will be considered. If you post here, you will only receive suggestions and feedback. but it will also be useful for you to make a reference.

Your only choices are to contact the original waves developers through their announcement topic. You can start a new topic in services board and pay some developers to do it for you fast and efficiently. But it'll cost you because nobody is going to do it for free.

Since the waves has its own platform which is different from others, it is unlikely that any other developer will be able +to help with your problem. However, you can contact the developer team of waves and tell them about your idea. They are the only one can help you in this situation.

Can't you just store the private keys offline like any other cryptocurrency?

Do you have any links about that that you can share, with more information?

If that's true, terrible for waves.

Firstly, I think you want to mention cold storage rather then private keys offline, because, of course, we are always possible to keep our private key offline by writing down it.

Secondly, I have just searched for it and I think this is a best choice for Waves offline wallet.

Yes, me too. Waves platform is not bad but I don't know why Waves-based coins/tokens are almost dumped. It's a sad story.

was it really effective to use offline wallets? I just didn't know what is the benefits and disadvantage of using it instead of online wallets. But maybe it is secured and much more robust when we use it?

your only choices are to contact the original Waves developers through their announcement topic or their github repository or their website and beg them for implementing this feature for you and they may do it if they see it is required.

or you can start a new topic in services board and pay some developer to do it for you fast and efficiently but it will cost you because nobody is going to do it for free.
