Right now NEO is very low price and many investors are keeping this altcoin for future purposes. I am sure when BTC price stabilization NEO will continue to go to the moon and we will see the development of this market.

Thanks for the lovely answers. I may hodl my coins for this week, but if no increases come our way, I may divest my coins from NEO and invest in something else that has potential to make some of my money back.

Hi Adam, Neo gets its value primarily as a platform for launching ICOs. It will be at least a couple of months before China gets back on the bandwagon - and brings about regulations for ICOs. I'm sure they won't abandon / ban ICOs and exchange trading for long or they'll get left out or drive their citizens to putting money outside the country - that's the strength of p2p, but the situation right now isn't good for Neo. The reason it has stuck at 20$ value right now is that there's a lot of 'speculators faith' on Neo, and no real value as I see it. Unless there are other ICOs that would prefer to launch on Neo's platform rather than Ethereum (no signs of this however) don't expect much.

I would suggest if you find a good potential alternate buy then liquidate your Neo for now, so at least that will grow in value.  Or if you are willing to hodl for long, do it, but there will be long term uncertainty here - so be aware of this if you take this call.

I think hold it is the best way you can do now.
$30.7 doesn't sounds bad, think about it that the top is $48.
Take you time,NEO will raise up again.

In relation to the Chinese coin, NEO will all depend on how quickly the Chinese government will conduct its announced measures to clean ICO of elements of fraud, increase security for investors, etc. If this is completed safely, we can expect an increase in confidence in NEO and a significant increase his course. However, this does not seem to happen quickly. News on this matter should be expected in November-December this year. So you need to be patient. I would not advise you to discard this coin.

It was quite stable in the latest dump times. I think it will bounce back to 30 soon. But keep a look at the latest news on neo reddit usw. and decide for yourself

just keep track of China ann, if there is anything serious goes up, make your decision. Otherwise, its holding well in the midst of chaos for china coins now.

NEO was not so bad during recent China news dumps. Price bounce from support lines. That's good. You can also use NEO for buying RedPulse tokens on ICO. So hodl is best advise  Wink

If you truly think china will permanently ban cryptocoins, you're uninformed to say the least. Remember, there used to be a ban on alcohol in the US until they figured out they could make billions from it. China isn't stupid, they're just being cautious right now.

they themselves have said they can't ban it.

they can ban access to exchanges and blockchains with their firewall.

of course crypto will survive there but the markets will be totally crippled. you can't have a pump without a centralised exchange. there will be none in china and no chinese person will be able to access foreign ones without jumping through hoops that are being closed every day.

tor doesn't work there. vpns are being clamped down on.

as neo is on western exchanges it'll still be able to pump. i'd get out when it does and shop elsewhere but that's just my opinion.

china is a country that actually closes its whole stock exchange when it heats up too much. anyone who believes they'll continue to tacitly endorse bitcoin, let alone ico stuff, needs to buy the bridge i'm selling.

can't all the morons predicting a chinese bounce read? china is over for good.

the only chance this coin has is if it gains a significant following outside china. i don't know enough about that but unless it pivots away from the chinese market then it's dead meat.

the fact that it's on bittrex and elsewhere is a good sign but if i owned some now i'd wait for a pump that got close to my buy in and sell and walk away. there are other coins with more certain futures.

there's risks and then there's holding a coin that's had a stupidly huge pump just before its largest market dies.

Neo, like all other crypto market coins, are double-stranded to Bitcoin. As long as bitcoin has trouble and drops its price, all the other coins will drop in price.
But when bitcoin starts to rise again, NEO and other Chinese coins will grow so much.

Imho: Neo will remain firm until the upcoming CHINA elections next October.

I think you should still holding your Neo coin till we begin to see what will happen in near future. Neo is a Chinese coin and China government just last two weeks banns the activities of ico project. Neo has not dropped significantly and I do expect that the banned will be a temporary one and one needs not to sell all your coins without any concrete reason that neo will not raise again.

I bought 79 coins at $30.7 like a dummy... Anyway I'm down quite a large amount. I'm not hoping to sell and take the loss, but I may if things don't look up.
I am hoping if anybody can give their insight as to whether or not NEO may bounce back.

I was thinking it would bounce back to at least $28 range if China brings out good news this week, but no sign of that as of now.

Any opinions?
How long you can hold? 2400 is a problem for some people. If you can hold. Just hold. It will recover maybe in 1, 2 year
