I once bought a Ledger for about $ 200 and I sold it to friends because I had stopped at Cryptocurrencies since 2018, with Ledger of course all our assets are safe, and XRP can be saved in the Ledger, but I suggest to learn and make sure you are sure of the one you buy.

XRP is an old coin, so most hardware wallets support it, you can buy any hardware wallet to store it, don't worry about this. What you should be worried about is that you are investing long term with an altcoin and that is the risk you should think about. Is it an altcoin worth long-term investment?, do your research thoroughly to make the most accurate decision?

You won't anything to worry about if it's on a hardware wallet like Ledger wallet(Live) and Trezor. Both have good reputation in the community and they're both supporting XRP deposits.

I'm using Trezor T and I can vouch for this. I've bought it last year using some of my profits during the bull run that time. The software and hardware itself constantly updates to prevent security issues. It's easy to setup once you bought it since the instructions are very simple and clear to understand. I got it at around 210$ last year since there is an official seller in our country.
Nice, good buy for you.

I haven't owned a Trezor any model but has Ledger's old model and still didn't able to upgrade since some of the latest versions has got some issues that I've read.

If there's really a new for me to buy a new one, I might look at Trezor so that I got two of the known hardware wallets.

You can manage Ripple (XRP) with Ledger S or X. It is not difficult, but you should inform a little. I have put together an explanation in 2019, maybe it will help you. Have a look here: NEW: Ledger Nano X - Information - Hardware Wallet. Trezor or Safepal hardware wallets are also okay. I think it's important to protect all your valuables and always keep calm and informed about everything.

It's better to store XRP in a hardware wallet like Ledger Nano S, Trezor, Safepal, SecuX, etc., that supports this crypto. Don't ever count too much on storing XRP in centralized exchanges and even non-custodial wallets that were created online.

Investing in a hardware wallet is the key to ensure that your funds are safe from hackers and intruders, especially XRP. One of the best investment that you'll ever need to make sure that your funds aren't compromised and having full custody of it.
^Definitely right and that is good advice.
For me, I will choose a hardware wallet like Trezor because it very popular and trusted hardware wallet that has been there for how many years.
In any wallet to save your crypto, a hardware wallet is more secure than a software or centralized wallet because this hardware wallet has security features that you can trust. So go for Trezor if you want to hold your XRP for a long period of time.

nowadays hardware wallets keep improving because there is competition there. So not just XRP but the other chains as well can be stored on a hardware wallet.

but i were you im staking the XRP  Grin so when 2025 arrived the coin add little bit

That is really contradictory opinion though since OP actually intend to hold the coin under his own possession with extremely high security as possible that is why he chose hardware as an option meanwhile staking is more likely giving out the funds to another platform and expect small returns even if we earn from it there is also risk associated with it which is we may lose the funds completely in case something like hack or rugpull.

To OP as suggested trezor and Ledger Nano supports XRP so you can choose anyone from it for the long term cold storage.

Trezor and Ledger are trustworthy hardware wallet and have a high security to secure your coins from hacking incident, online attack etc. But it can't prevent if the developer want to freeze your coins! XRP is centralized and the developer can freeze your coin in your own hardware wallet [1], which mean it doesn't make your coin are 100% secured. You need to think twice if you really want to hold XRP for long time.

Yes, you can read everything here:

https://www.ledger.com/ripple-wallet

And as what others have suggested as well, buy Ledger to it's official site or from it's authorized dealer.

Don't buy it in Reddit or any social media site as it could be tampered and you just don't know, maybe one day your wallet will be hack by this cyber criminals.

I think it's better to just hold it in a Safepall wallet, safepall also has a hardware wallet so you can buy it through the online store,
I've been using the safepall hardware wallet for 1 year and it's proven safe, it's good that we can use the software wallet feature as well as the app using a hardware wallet ,
so there's nothing wrong if you store XRP in the safepall hardware wallet.

You are accepting risk with XRP because its future depends on result of their lawsuit with SEC. Recent months, it seems we have seen some positive news but the lawsuit is still not finished. So we are still in uncertain situation about future of XRP. I wish you luck but why did you put most of your fund in XRP?

Ethereum, Binance BNB are safer coins for you to choose if you love altcoins. A more safer coin is Bitcoin.

I don't take risk like you. If I want to invest in XRP, I will wait for final result of lawsuit and even so it won't be too late for me to buy XRP.

Almost most Hardware wallets (when bitcoin is supported XRP is) support Ripple, so your question should be in the comparison between these wallets more than searching for which of these wallets are safer, better priced, and other details.

As for shipping, Ledger Nano X and Nano S Plus gives free shipping limited[1] offer and you may get discounts on Black Friday.

It's a nice idea for you to consider storing your ripples on a hard ware wallet since you are holding for long term. I really do hope that XRP would worth the sacrifice in the future because there seems to be a fundamental issue with that project that has warranted SEC going after the project. I pray they scale through the process and come back stronger.

I have 2 Safepal S1 hardware wallets. They are bit challenging to use, but they WILL hold all kinds of diff coins securely.

Just like others who posted above me, I never stored any XRP on ledger.
Two of the hardware wallets that I know where you can secure and store your XRP are Ledger and SecuX. For Trezor, I'm not sure if XRP is supported.

This post should be on Altcoin board I guess.
