Because you've obviously never had a critical service that relied heavily on website uptime. GoDaddy offers hosting for consumers. Whether it may be blogs, personal websites, they don't need that 99.99% uptime necessity. If you're going to host a Bitcoin service, go with AWS, Linode, Dreamhost, or the Rackspace Cloud. All of them have good SLAs and have excellent support (except for Amazon). They won't dump you off their service simply because you're using too many resources (Dreamhost might ask you to upgrade to a VPS).
GoDaddy is notorious for their horrible upselling techniques and overall junk (not sure about hosting), people just try to avoid them completely.
