Bitcoin core for full wallet.  Electrum for SPV wallet.

Bet we'll see some replies recommending exchange wallets.

If you are in the Philippines, I suggest you use (CoinsPh). It is easy to use and the bitcoin is automatically converted into Peso Smiley.
I think they can control your bitcoin? I think you should continue to be cautious with the exchange or wallet that have a third party

As far as I concern, I don't have any problem using CoinsPH. It is beneficial to me here in the Philippines.

Don't listen to this guy. CoinsPh is basically like coinbase. It's a fully online site, all your bitcoin is in control of them. They can run away with your funds at any time.

I don't think so, I already using it and get my pay out.

I think that Blockchain is the best, have lots of futures and very good for a beginner
but i will recommend BitcoinCore because it is not good to give an online hosted bitcoin wallet your 100% trust
   Wink

 Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

why you say blockchain is still the best
its blockchain use system HD wallet is client can't see private key
you can see private key is addres imported, not addres imported can't see private key

you don't have Electrum as one of your choices in the poll, why is that?
i think you should try it and think for yourself but it is a good wallet and i really like using it, especially since i can not run a full node because of my slow internet speed.

For you computer, I would choose to have Bitcoin Core as my wallet.

For phone, use Mycelium. I have been using it for over a year and I haven't had any problems so far.

As an online wallet, use Coinbase. I have also used this without any difficulties. (As an extra bonus they pay your transaction fee. Smiley)

Hope this helped for your decision.

the only disadvantage of bitcoin core is you need to download the whole blockchain to be synced and it's above 25GB,for third world countries which have really slow internet speed and limited bandwith,it's definitely not a good choice unless you really want your computer to be on for the whole 3 days
although it's really worth it for those who want to put some efforts and make their bitcoin secured

The Higher the votes next to my choices will be my PICK and I will sign up to voted BTC WALLET.. Thanks in advance.. Smiley
Blockchain.info online, Electrum for offline/SPV/on-your-PC, Bitcoin Core if you are capable of storing the entire blockchain.

Just remember that if you don't have possession of your private key, the bitcoin is not in your possession. Make sure that your wallet of choice allows you to export your private key. If they don't, don't use their services.

Oh, and be careful of your choice. I've seen a user fall for a fake online wallet service that simply took the funds. The site is pretty darn neatly laid-out and it had https and an EV SSL certificate.

My vote goes to bitcoin core but accidentally i voted for blockchain, sorry for this.
But if you want to use an online wallet(not recommended) i think that blockchain is a very good and safe option.I am still using it from time to time for small payments and i've never faced any problem.
I thought the purse would be more secure offline than online wallet which incidentally is the third party. third parties have full access to your bitcoin, and very likely they will be a scam? I do not recommend the online wallet. it would be better wallet offline. but of course it will not give you the flexibility you

yeah of course for online wallet of the most recommended is blockchain. I think even though their party as they provide full access to the wallet to the users themselves. so you do not need to be afraid. because they are not going to be a scam. online wallet will be much more flexible than the wallet offline

I'm surprised there are actually more people voting for blockchain online wallet than bitcoin core. I personally prefer bitcoin core since it is built deterministically and offers a full service core.
A safe wallet must be a first step for a better start in bitcoin world. So, choose wisely and enjoy your decision of adopting bitcoins.

It's incredible that most people chose blockchain... either blockchain is abusing this thread as advertising or people are suffering from severe brain damage.

So far, Bitcoin Core is the only fully validating Bitcoin wallet. It is the reference implementation and can therefore be considered the most secure. I don't know how you compiled the voting list for your poll, but to me it seems quite arbitrary. You listed two wallets that are hardly known (Coinsph, Hive), yet left out a significant number of more widely used alternatives.

Terminated.
wallet on your phone will be quite risky because any person could borrow your cell phone and maybe he is a bad person and then hack to your mobile phone.
Why would you borrow your phone with a lot of money in it to someone? Do you borrow your wallet packed with money to "any person"?

I would recommend using blockchain highly trusted and full control
Bad advice as always. Blockchain.info, and generally any web wallet should be avoided when possible.

I am satisfied with blockchain performance and dont feel the need to switch to another wallet
You should switch to any desktop wallet as soon as possible.

For cold storage or hardware wallet bitcoin core is the best if you are willing to store some bitcoins
Not necessarily. An (currently outdated) example of a nice alternative is Armory.

blockchain can be considered for daily transactions as it is easy and fast
I don't see why Core can't be use for daily transactions unless you really have outdated hardware. Syncing only takes a few minutes.

i prefer and vote with blockchain, because i have account on there. the rest, i don't use it, so i don't know what its like. but beside that, i use mycelium too in my android, so i think you can use it too.
