Considering it's been 5 months at the time of writing, I wonder if anyone has used this service.

My best wishes!

I am happy to hear this news, the author innovated to develop Bitcoin to add community. Because Bitcoin lives based on community.  A community that believes in the value of Bitcoin. I think the author is smart enough to seize the moment. I hope the users do not have problems during transactions due to network congestion issues. Hopefully the author's efforts continue and do not get into trouble because they conflict with the government. Since my country bans Crypto as a means of payment, they only recognize it with paper money or metal from the government.

it is very profitable to currently open a business and accept payments with bitcoins. if this kind of thing is done more and more, it will accelerate the adoption of bitcoin among the wider community, people who don't know will find out, and people who know will tell the advantages of using bitcoin, so people who don't know before will be interested, with more and more people knowing like that, then this will result in a greater demand for bitcoin so that it can increase its price
Bitcoin is rapidly growing throughout the world and in local communities; Bitcoin is a long-term project with a transparent roadmap; and there is more encouraging news coming in from bitcoin traders. I would propose that you invest in projects that are more stable, such as USDT or BNB, because bitcoin swings a lot and losses are easy to make on a daily basis. The usage of bitcoin as a payment method in a beauty salon is essentially good news for the people who reside there. Those who have no understanding of bitcoin will be highlighted about its use, and we know how profitable it will be.

An excellent marketing step. Now this can create some difficulties, such as the cost per transaction. If the service is not expensive, then the price per transaction can be the same or almost the same as the price itself. Secondly, the time it takes to transfer funds can be an inconvenience. Now, as you said, not many people use it, especially considering that girls mostly use your services, but as an advertisement for your salon, this is a brilliant idea. People will discuss it among themselves. A wife at home with her husbands, at work, etc. I think your salon will become more popular. In addition, many people get to know better what bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general are.

Considering it's been 5 months at the time of writing, I wonder if anyone has used this service.

My best wishes!

This is one of the good decisions you made, and I congratulate you and it is also one of the things that spread the usages features of Bitcoin to any business that can use it. This is actually a good move. It may not be noticeable at the beginning but don't think about it as long as the important thing is that Bitcoin is one of your payment options at your beaty salon.

Do not understand how much if most of your customers are not yet aware of bitcoin, I am sure that the time will come when there will be some of them who will ask out of curiosity about bitcoin. And this will be the beginning for them to believe in Bitcoin at that would be depend on how will you going to explain to your customers about it.

It's cool and congrats on that!

It's fascinating for me to see how people use Bitcoin as a currency, it's great!

Can you share how successful it was?
Did you have any people actually paying with Bitcoin?

And what about the government?
Like how will you pay taxes with that and what kind of lows do you have regarding cryptocurrency like bitcoin?

I like to see people try it, but for now, there are not that many successful attempts to do it.
Usually, when people try to do it in the US, it cuts off pretty fast.

It was really great to see that some business owners tried to risk more and convince others that Bitcoin is not only an investment that is mostly known about it but also can be a form of currency that is meant to be. As OP bring to that situation accepting BTC for her shop it gives a huge impact on the market as well and gives the chance for crypto users to spend their BTC.

It is another success in the crypto world, I'd see the massive growth of crypto adoption this year, not only in India but also in other countries especially if fiat inflation continues.

Congratulations Princess of Africa,  I am glad to see that you have always had a constant drive towards bitcoin adoption and usage within your locality, as a person from some region like yours I quite understand how it feels to have an alternative payment system independent from the banks.
Just a quick question on whether your hair-dressing saloon is a registered business and it is, then how do you pay your tax on Bitcoin payments?
As you mentioned in a comment on this thread of how you are planning another charity program to take care of some school students, and I want to encourage you to keep up with the good job you and all the rest of the other guys who are involved in all these charity programs outside the forum and impacting your immediate community positively through the use and help of Bitcoin.

Hey satoprincess. I can't believe it's been a year since I remember you and the Christmas food drive (did you do one last Christmas?). And now for your beauty salon. How I wish there would have been Bitcoin in South Sudan when I was last there... paying with SSP was terrible as it kept getting more and more expensive by the day to pay for something, I think I remember giving a huge wad of cash for a haircut!

Here's an idea: prepaid bookings only possible with Bitcoin Wink Buy 20 treatments for the price of 15, at a locked in price. That's really handy for a place with high inflation (and doesn't hurt you since you get BTC).
Yes it’s been a year, time flies. We didn’t do one last Christmas, we are planning something different that’s specific to helping school children with their education. Fantastic idea I love it. It’s always rush hour, my clients like noon appointments and we always seem to have our hands full literally. I really love the prepaid bookings idea. One of my clients came to the shop with  her girlfriend who is a p2p trader today. To cut the long story short, I have a new client who is willing to pay in bitcoins and has promised to introduce her circle as well.

Yeah, I did that whenever I travelled/worked in countries with hyperinflation long term (and I actually kinda did a few heh). It's not like I even really need the service a lot but it's nice to support local economies especially when you're embedded there for a while, kinda builds trust too.

Great news on new clientele. Keep this thread updated (how many payments would be nice) to show people it's worth the trouble.

Imagine if we adopt this kind of move ''bitcoin means of payment'' to our business or daily life. It would be fantastic that can even help to soar the price of bitcoin
This forum is indeed the best place to spread awareness about using bitcoin and various other crypto platforms. There will be many people who start adopting bitcoin in their businesses. But it also depends on how their country treats adoption and provides related regulations on the use of bitcoins. In the eastern region of course it is an area that supports bitcoin, but in my country in Asia Indonesia, bitcoin can only be used as a commodity tool and nothing more.
Not expecting much from a legal means of payment with bitcoins, I just made a few investments and trades as that's all that's allowed.

Regarding the OP's adoption of his business, I just wanted to see how they accept bitcoins and what payment methods are used. Because so far I have never seen documentation of payments made. It should be if anyone starts paying with bitcoin then it should be documented from the beginning of the payment until the payment process is complete, it will prove that the small adoption in OP's business becomes an actual adoption in the acceptance of bitcoin.

Gradually the awareness of bitcoin is pushing and am happy that some people are beginning to adopt it in their different works of life. I love the fact the majority of forum members are helping in the spread of bitcoin to their locality in one way or the other. I would say that this is a good way to start since our major aim is to create awareness of crypto around the globe.

That's cool, now she has that parlor. I really hope that there will be no problem with this along the way. Also, it is quite risky for me, since it not yet acceptable in my country and we have some issues about it but I just hope she will not have it. All in all, it only shows that if we try to take  a risk there's no impossible, be unique and clear in your plans and dreams.
