I'm glad you can make the first step of your investment. In fact, I think what investment is important, but more importantly, your own investment plan, prefabricate a goal of your own and investment plan, strictly implement, you will achieve.

Many people got way less than that to spare and to put into crypto every month! I think $200 is good money to start with and if you keep putting this money in constantly over several months you will have a nice portfolio over time.

Actually I think stepwise entries are way better than entering with a big amount at a certain point, because the market does not only go up. With a stepwise entry you will have several prices to buy, that will equal out overall losses. Just my opinion on it!

$ 200 is not a big deal, but it's a good enough investment. If you can make a deposit of $ 200, you can make a huge profit with the investment.

you mean ICO?

Invest your excess amount so that if it will loose you will not regret. Think wisely before you invest in bitcoin. Be sure that the price is lower than before you invest so that if it will goes high, you will gain more profits. After all, your decision is in your hand, no matter what we say you will do what you will think that is better to you.
It's too high. Thanks my friends

If you got spare money then just invest in bitcoin, it will be very profitable, especially for this few months the trend keep on going and keep on reaching the new record, and 200$ is a lot, some people invest only 100$, keep your bitcoin as long as possible to get a better profit
Its price is very high now. I'm afraid it will fall causing me to lose. I need to think. Tks guy!
If you have invested already before this price spike, I will urge you not to worry about losing what you already bought even if the value dips to a level of correction. It would go back up and a time will come when you won't even be bothered at all.

Panicking has made a lot of people to make the wrong mistake and unless you want to trade and you understand what you are doing, to buy back at corrections, then I will say you should just hold and care less what the chart is giving you. I believe before investing, you should understand the volatility of bitcoin by now.
Yes, bitcoins are too high for now but yet it is not too late to purchase bitcoins as bitcoins will have much more high price in future. Bitcoins have a bright future ahead and it is never too late to purchase bitcoins but just he needs to wait for a dip and instantly purchase bitcoins that time.

Bitcoins will cross 25,000$ soon and according to me, bitcoins will double its value in the next year. Even this year has been profitable for bitcoins and the same will continue the next year.

Before thinking of investing your salary in bitcoins you should compute your expenditures during a month and less it to your 200USD and whatever retains maybe you should save it because it's quite low and then if you think you had enough then go invest it to bitcoins.

Its value probably won't go to $0, so even in the worst case you won't loose your $200.

Rather than waiting for the moment to see where to put the funds, $200 is already a good amount to convert from fiat to bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency of choice as the case may be. If he had done that just in some few weeks back, without doing anything, there is already a huge percentage increase on the $200.

Who knows one day, it might turn to some big amount also and then the OP will be sure to gladly make use of it to do other things he would wish to.
Yeah, the truth is that the crypto world is going to at least be here for a long time, and with the look of things and the way some coins have been increasing, it is something that can really end up paying off in the long run. Imagine if he had diversified such even some few days back, into BTC, LTC and ETH, there would have been a lot of smiles on his face right now.

$ 200 is not a big deal, but it's a good enough investment. If you can make a deposit of $ 200, you can make a huge profit with the investment.
It is not a big deal at all. I do not know the level of the OP's pocket, but that is some amount worthy to risk and leave in bitcoin for the long run. That would have given him something pretty tangible now if he had invested a long time ago. We do not know the future and he can just try to diversify into some altcoins with some good future.

Here's what I would do. Just set a repeat buy every week on coinbase or something like that for however much you feel comfortable with. I personally have a repeat buy of $40 ETH a week. And I just let my balance sit there without much thought. Hopefully when I come back to it in a couple years I'd have a good amount of money from the investments. Try it out.
Not sure what you are referring to as repeat buy every week but if it is what I am thinking, then that can really work. From what I can deduce, ETH these days have been having some dips and peaks and on and on and seems like a pretty good coin to trade, week in week out.

If the OP can always set a buy order at these dips and a sell order for the peaks, in no time, he should be getting some few profit and making some really good bucks.

$ 200 is not much. But it's just enough for you to invest in crypto. You should consider carefully to avoid losses. I recommend you at this point. You should invest in ETH or LTC. BTCs are now too expensive. You will not be profitable to buy a BTC for $ 200. It's all up to you. Please consider

Per month it's really a big deal if someone's going to do it monthly. Making a deposit and doing it as a practice that's going to give a very huge profit in the future. And even the price goes down or up and what you just do is you keep on buying, you're always the winner for it. Thinking many times that you just need to have bitcoin until it reaches the highest peak maybe $20,000 - $100,000 and you've been doing this for months, great is the return.

I can only speak as long term investor. I don't know much about daily trading and I don't recommend it to anyone.
$200 or $1000 is only some kind of level. With $200 invested today, you are behind people who invested $200 already, but you are in front of people who will invest $200 tomorrow and after tomorrow. Try to investigate how many accounts/wallets have all biggest exchanges; Coinbase, Bittrex, Kraken etc.? 10, 20 , 50 100 million? How many people have internet access in the world? So, where are you? You are among upper time-level $200 investors. There is much more $200 investors coming after you then those before you, chronologically speaking. Of course, you can not compare yourself with people who invested $10000 today or 2 years ago, but as $200 today investor, you are good. I am sure, in 25+ years, it wont even matters how much is your investment worth in $ at that point. Nobody will care how much $ it is. Value in $ will be irrelevant. So, go for it, invest $200, and invest some more at any point according to your possibilities. Buy it, put it safe and forget about it. That is what we, long term investors, believe. (I apologize, English is not my native language so I find myself hard to express, I hope I made my point...)

you are saving a little amount,so i would recommend all of the money you have ,invest a little and save the left amount it can be use in emergencies ,earn little more and when you think you have saved enough then you can take risk of investing money in bitcoin.
Right. Rather than waiting for the moment to see where to put the funds, $200 is already a good amount to convert from fiat to bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency of choice as the case may be.
