Good day everyone I am here to announce that today has made me my 7th year as a Bitcoin investor, I am the happiest person today because Bitcoin has given me a lot of gains through investments.
7 years is not a short time man, I think you have gone through a lot more profitable moments in 2017 and 2021. How did you survive that long?

This must be hard to believe unless you loss of memory that you have bitcoin.

I have invested in Bitcoin since the gear 2015 and I have hold my coins for a long time I almost forgot about it because I even deleted the application I used to purchase Bitcoin, I have been so forbearing that it was during this cashless policy in my country that I remembered about my investment when I first checked the price of bitcoin I was shocked and I didn't believe my eyes until I sold some of my coins, just imagine that if you bought 0.9 Bitcoin and hold it till now, how will you feel?
I can't fully believe your story because basically you should have taken a lot of profit on the ATH cycle in 2017 and 2021 instead of letting your bitcoin sit idly by. However there are always consistent holders about their long term investments, but I believe they are quite good people financially even during inflation.

Then how about you?
But if you really do what you say you do, then I really think you are the biggest loser so far because you are past your best selling moment.

I don't believe that there is any sudden reduction in Bitcoin price from now till the end of this year or even next year, so please do yourself a good to ingrain in Bitcoin if you haven't.
There is always the possibility of a price drop this year or next, so you should know that something is uncertain about the price of bitcoin. You can analyze the charts for TF 1H, 4H, 1D, 1W or 1 month TF, it will give you a view that price volatility (bearish and bullish) is very likely this year, keep in mind about investment risks.

If I come across any such or similar claim I will ask for evidence.
Some users will say: "what's your problem?" "leave this thread, let the @OP cheer on his day" "if you know, what you will do?" etc.

For me there's nothing wrong to ask an evidence and even he have provide an evidence, we need to use our logic how make sense the story is. Just like this thread where I wouldn't trust him because claiming to have invest Bitcoin from 7 years ago is really hard to believe when his account was registered in this year.

I have to start going around the forum boards more frequently and more evenly. I do think sending merits without providing evidence of some sort to back up the claim could be (at least in part) responsible for fuelling the action. If I come across any such or similar claim I will ask for evidence.

That's because you don't go much to the Bitcoin Discussion section, as there are many such claims there, which some of us question, but many others don't, and they fill up with pages of comments from members congratulating and even meriting the OP who doesn't provide a single piece of evidence.

It would be best if you closed the topic to avoid seeming even more ridiculous.

I've reported the thread to be locked. Let's see if there is luck, because as I have said several times I think the moderators think more before acting on this section.

Yes I did not go through the thread at all, except for reading the OP and took his word for it. It did not even cross my mind that he (or anyone else) could have been making up his 7 year claim.

I have to thank you for the link to the post by Darker45 . Yes I did not go through the thread at all, except for reading the OP and took his word for it. It did not even cross my mind that he (or anyone else) could have been making up his 7 year claim.

uche6215: you have made a total of 3 posts in this thread including the OP claiming you have been investing ion Bitcoin for 7 years. You skipped past all the posts and ignoring them that were asking you to provide evidence of your claim. Can you explain?

If you made this up as a means to try to receive merits you have failed because you did not receive even one. On the other hand, I have added you to my distrust list and maybe others have or will too on top of the neutral feedback for deception, therefore maybe starting this thread was a mistake on your part. If I am wrong please post here with evidence of your claim or at least respond directly to comments made in this thread.

Are you part of a farm account which was trying to build up accounts either for joining signature campaigns or for some future nefarious undertakings?

Let's see my friend, have you stopped to analyze the thread? I don't think so. Good thing there are some of us who are fed up with the threads of supposed investors who claim to have invested in Bitcoin and things like that that when you do a minimum analysis do not hold up.

In this case I didn't even need to do the analysis, Darker45 did it on the first page.

There are so many threads of this style in the forum, usually in BD with made up stories, that are a pest.

Stop the subscription spam of people who stupidly unsubscribe without understanding the meaning of the discussion, and reduce the number of neutral reviews about your lies.

Throughout the 7 years that you have been investing you must have had many moments when you made losses or were facing the prospect of losses yet here you are posting about the anniversary. I hope the next 7 years brings you more success and more wealth.

Holding Bitcoin for 7years, it is not easy but if anyone can do that is going  be a great opportunity of profit for such period. Op if it true that you saying that means you make a huge profits from your Bitcoin investment.

But I don't think it is possible for someone to just forget about it Bitcoin investment without checking on it for 7years, unless the person did not get access to the wallet for that kind period. The fact is that doing this seven years period you had experience bear market and bull run with you Bitcoin investment and still don't check to know how your investments is going on whether you making profit or losing. It is good to be checking on Bitcoin assets time to time in order to know what is happening in to your wallets.I may say but from you writeup, I may be convince that you fabricated this.

Zzzzzz. LOL! Don't be too naïve, guys. And please read beyond the OP. How can you easily fall for this kind of story?

Uche6215 is celebrating his/her 7th year as a Bitcoin investor when just a month ago he/she shared that he/she's been a Bitcoin investor for two years. I don't know which planet OP comes from or what kind of calendar he/she is using there, but here on earth and with our standard Gregorian calendar, two years cannot just turn into 7 years after just a month. LOL!
LOL. I don't know why there are still many who believe in the story that was made up by the OP, I already believe enough of what has been proven by you that was revealed and that is clear enough.

He was so proud he made a thread with his 7th anniversary as a Bitcoin investor but he forgot the previous post and it was enough I want to laugh at how he wants to be such a reliable investor that fact is a lie.

I still can't believe this story!
I just positive thinking, true or not, we will certainly get a pearl of wisdom with his story. We know many people fall long time ago because was sold their bitcoin with low prices and didn't have much buy bitcoin in the past. So with his story, we can adjust with the time today, if regret then comes to the back and never repeat if we can't make it today.

If we can keep the bitcoins we bought in 2015 or at least before the last ATH and sell them at that ATH price, we have made the biggest profit.
But if we have sold it at the previous ATH, which includes the biggest profit and the profit, we buy bitcoin again and hold it until the last ATH.
We don't need to regret selling it at the start of the increase because we still have the opportunity to buy it at the current price and sell it at the next ATH.
So we need to keep buying it at the current price, save it, and wait until the price can make a new ATH, then sell it.

Yea, I can still remember those days, when the Bitcoin price were between $200 and $500 towards the end of 2015. I bought some coins when it was at that price, but I sold most of it, when the price went to $1000+ in 2017.  Sad Sad Sad

You should not regret anything that you did back then, because those are the things that motivated you to do better in the future. I learnt from those mistakes and I bought more coins when the price reached $5000 in 2020..... and then sold it at a massive profit, when the price reached $60 000 in November of 2021.  Grin Grin Grin

Congratulations! I would probably be very happy too. But I have been holding Bitcoin not so long ago.

As I always say, the best way to keep bitcoin is to send it to a wallet, then delete the app and forget about it for a couple of years. That's it - you're a millionaire!

Congratulations for holding for so long. Through the volatile markets, you remained strong. I wonder if your ability to hold for a long time was influenced by the fact that you deleted the app you used to buy Bitcoin.
I don't mean to sound judgmental, but you couldn't have sold some coins if you held for a long time and, based on your comment, that you don't think the price of Bitcoin would suddenly drop from now until the end of this year or even next year. I had assumed you would have kept holding until the end of the year to see how much you would have amassed.

Seriously, everything is obvious to me. Recently, the forum has been flooded with similar topics from newcomers, and this is starting to bother me already, because, as it seems to me, they are trying to fool us all with such stories for the sake of getting merit.

It is all right with me when users are actively, even aggressively, hunting for merit. I cannot blame them. After all, merit is the way for them to rank up. There's no problem with that. Many of them must be trying hard so that they would one day land on a decent signature campaign and earn from it. That will help them economically. Although such motive is kind of questionable, it is not at all bad. It's even good.

My issue is that these people and their obvious schemes are insulting. They must have assumed this forum is made up of nincompoops that even if they publish outright lies, they can get away with it and even rank up.

So you just bought and forgot about it. Does that really make you an investor? Well, keeping that aside, congratulation on finally recovering your Bitcoins. You can finally put your investment in a good use.
Hopefully, you have transferred your bitcoins into your private wallet. If not, then I suggest you do it right away.
And the thing about price movements. No one knows man. Anything could happen in the market at any time. So if you have waited this long, I suggest you do a little bit more. You have already gained so much profits. Why not get some more? The halving will be in 2024. So try to hodl for that long and as you have learned from your own experience, bitcoin is a long term investment option. So try to hodl for more profits. Or start doing DCA.

This is just my suggestion. It's your asset, and you have every right to use it as you please. Not your financial advisor. DYOR.

We all want to relive the past but sadly, those are just memories. I'm sure there must be many people who want it but we can only try now and even though the effort we put in seems hard, we have to keep trying.

And congratulations if you still keep that 0.9 BTC. You can sell it at the next peak price for the biggest profit. But if you have sold some or even all of them at a low price, you can still collect bitcoins again while the price hasn't increased too much.

We don't need to regret the past because we still have a future that hasn't happened and we can make it change for the better.

So my fears about this account turned out to be correct. I can say not much about him, because I don't have such detective skills as you do. Here, rather, my intuition and inner suspicion of the words in the text worked for me, which became stronger after reading Darker45's posts in this thread.

Let the detection occur even with some difficulties, but it still happens.

Did you call?  Grin Grin Grin What can you say about this account? He does not change his behavior, and as always happens with liars, he is bound to end badly. It is a mistake to say that he is a newbie, this character has been hanging out on the forum for a long time, and he has blocked accounts in his history, although yes, he is becoming a little trickier to detect.

Few days ago Loyce reported a shitposting newbie uche3235 who was word spinning in order to avoid being caught for plagiarism, but it obviously didn't work so his account got banned. Now he is back (this time with a completely different username uche6215 lol) but again shitposting like in previous attempt. I am sure that he will be back with another creatively named alt account, but can mods pls ban this account since his is obviously ban evading.

Word spinning newbie, please ban this guy: Banned!
Some people may ask, what are the risk in Bitcoin transactions?
And the risk are:
i, Bitcoin payment doesn't come with legal protection such as debit card and credit cards have a high rate of protections just in case something goes wrong ( debit card and credit cards it's traceable).
ii,  Bitcoin payment typically are not revisable.
iii, most informations about Bitcoins transactions are public on the net .
Most Bitcoin investors will not tell you about this.

The moderators have one more proof that the guy who was banned and the guy who put on the same nickname are the same person.
Besides the fact that he is stupid with the choice of nickname, Arabic numerals are still far from him. He uses only Latin throughout.

i. Day trading
ii. Range trading
iii. Investment
iv. Range trading and many more

My question is, do you still have access to your Bitcoin? 7 years is a long time and a lot of previous exchanges have closed down, so it's pointless if you invest in Bitcoin but you don't have access to it anymore.
Op's story isn't true, but to answer your question separately, exchanges are supposed to be used for buying and selling BTC and not for storing them, either for 7 years or even shorter, i would never be comfortable if i had any of my funds in an exchange, your coins should be in your self custody wallet, so if exchanges bite the dust you are unaffected because your have the keys to your money.
So thinking logically, I agree with your opinion, because apparently the OP is a great example of a spammer who is trying to climb in the ranking so that in the future he will receive Bitcoins for his meaningless posts.
That's it, but they don't have to go through this way, instead of lying about holding BTC for X or Y number of years, they should just invest time to learn about BTC and things related to cryptocurrencies, and ranking up won't be hard anymore.

Well I will say congratulations on your investment because I know it wasn't easy to invest in bitcoin for about 7 years without you panicking of selling while others did.
Then boiled down to those saying how come you invested for many years ago and your account isn't that old, well to clear all doubts about bitcoin there are some people who invested in bitcoin without them haven to come here or even without them knowing there's a Bitcointalk where special discussion about bitcoin is being held. I have came across lots of people and I happens to interview them how they knew about bitcoin none of those people could say is from Bitcointalk rather they kept saying it was from a friend while some said twitter and Facebook.
Thought some only bought and left it on the exchange which I think they gain little knowledge about and that of security purposes. Op might invested when he had no idea of here but finally found here, but nevertheless this could be true or false and how do we know?

I don't know whether true or false in OP's story because there was so much controversy when I read all the replies from other people for the story, it became difficult for me. Smiley
To show the truth it may be necessary to show the amount of bitcoins he has today, with screenshots or anything that does not give a loss to the one who shows it.

But if it's true that being able to hold bitcoins for seven years is such a cool and crazy thing that few people can do that's a great move, maybe if true Op can point out when he made that transaction in thxhas form to clear the doubts of many people here in the story you sir.

I'm not insisting, it's just a suggestion if you want to do it.

I would hardly have noticed your post if we did not use such a marketing strategy as a signature campaign.

Before the launch, we had a very long and detailed conversation about the concept of such advertising and some other details regarding which posters we want to include in the UniJoin campaign, and which posters we should avoid. Obviously, he still has access to his Bitcoin since he's discussing it on the forum. There's no way he lost his private key or seed. But holding onto Bitcoin for seven years is impressive! In life, there may be situations where you need to cash out some of your profits, especially when Bitcoin's price rises to $69k (the highest bitcoin's price peak)

Even I cashed out around $2k at that time to buy a good PC, and I don't regret it, given the current price of Bitcoin. I feel like the price of Bitcoin will increase significantly in the upcoming months, and hopefully, reach another all-time high peak.

if this is true then I will Salute him from holding bitcoin that long because I cannot even bring myself from holding in the whole 5 years .
Op's story is surely not true, it is not so hard to notice that it is a made up story, what they have said in the past about their BTC investment, and what they are saying now do not add up, and i don't want to go into that as another user has already brought some of the facts out earlier in this thread. I think this is the new type of spam in the forum, just bring up stories about your BTC investment, or tell us you now accept BTC in your shop, these posts have been posted by different users so many times in the last few months, it is hard to report it because it is about BTC and it is posted in the BTC discussion board, maybe the right thing to do is to ignore topics like that, through not replying to it, nor sending merits to the Op's.

You should read his post carefully my friend. He bought Bitcoin in 2015 and that time the price of 1 bitcoin was around 200-280$, and that show that the OP has earned more than 100x from his investment into Bitcoin.

I read it very carefully, though—just my doubt in the OP story.

But I have one question for you, OP, if you don't mind: you mean you were not aware about Bitcoin price trend in 2021 that marked a new ATH?

Also, you said you deleted the app where you bought the Bitcoin, so you mean you forgot about 0.9 Bitcoin on a centralized platform for 7 years, if your story is true, that means it was really a bad risk. Bitcoin is not meant to be stored in a centralized exchange or a custodial wallet; store your Bitcoin in a non-custodial wallet so you can have full control over your asset. If the exchange you left that coin on was dead, that means they would have made off with your coin.
The 67k Bitcoin in 2021 made a lot of noise, I am surprised that someone locked their Bitcoin away for that long and never decide to check the price? That's unrealistic mate, 2021 was the year that confused many people that think too less of Bitcoin, some people that I advised later DM me on WhatsApp, saying they heard the price of Bitcoin was over 60k, I just laughed at them. OP needs to tell the exact name of the wallet he used to store his Bitcoin at least, im hoping it's not on exchange.

BITCOIN THE EAGLES EYES

Good day everyone I am here to announce that today has made me my 7th year as a Bitcoin investor, I am the happiest person today because Bitcoin has given me a lot of gains through investments.
I don't believe that there is any sudden reduction in Bitcoin price from now till the end of this year or even next year, so please do yourself a good to ingrain in Bitcoin if you haven't.

I congratulate you on your success!

I first heard about bitcoin when my friend told me that a revolution was coming in the world of digital assets. It was a few years ago, probably earlier than 2010. I remember for sure that bitcoin was worth $ 100 at that moment.
But at that time I didn't have a good job, I was a student, and therefore I couldn't buy even a part of bitcoin.

Then a friend installed an application on my smartphone and gave me a share of bitcoin. Unfortunately, I couldn't keep it on balance and spent it six months later. Then I deleted this wallet and forgot about bitcoin for a while. I returned in 2015, and a year later I registered on the forum...

I don't believe that there is any sudden reduction in Bitcoin price from now till the end of this year or even next year, so please do yourself a good to ingrain in Bitcoin if you haven't.
Well, only a few people have found Bitcoin's potential to grow because some of them just spend it many years ago without minding if it will reach in today's price. And you are one of those people and I'm really happy with you mate.
Big rewards will come to people who trust Bitcoin and are willing to hold it despite the volatile situation of the market. Because I would tell you that holding for that long ignoring the huge drop was really an extraordinary faith and only a few investors can do that while the majority had already been in panic and selling their BTC.

Good day everyone I am here to announce that today has made me my 7th year as a Bitcoin investor, I am the happiest person today because Bitcoin has given me a lot of gains through investments.
It's good that it worked pretty well for you, what was exactly the price of Bitcoin when you bought it at first? And did you not sell your coins or a portion of them when the price was above $65k? That must have been the point for you to sell some of it and then hold on to some of the money you got and buy back when it crashed to $16k.

The current price might not be a bad price for someone who bought Bitcoin when it was very low and only started going up, but it is not so good for those who have bought Bitcoin when it was high. Imagine someone who has bought at $50k or above, now all those buyers are still waiting for a recovery.

Zzzzzz.

LOL!
He can have lies or can have truth with his stories. We can not verify it  Grin

Is it cool to give a friend bitcoin as a gift on his birthday?
I have a friend who I have been telling about bitcoin for the past 2 weeks now and he's paying more attention to it, on the 1st of March is his birthday party I want to surprise him with $200 BTC because I can't attend his birthday party.
So is it apprised to gift a friend bitcoin at his birthday party?
His story can be true as if he wanted to give  his friend $200 gift in bitcoin, he would have enough bitcoin to give it away. It makes sense to give away $200 that is ~ 0.007 to 0.01 BTC months ago when he has 0.9 bitcoin.

He helped his friend to pay hospital bill with 0.046591 BTC too.

I have seen a lot of these self congratulatory threads pop up. And it gets unbelievable to me the more I see them. I read through the OP and of course, I didn’t believe a word he/she wrote. Reading through the congratulations replies, I came upon your comment quoting the OP on his first experience with bitcoin and I wondered if people missed it.

My first experience about Bitcoin,
I was busy saying Bitcoin is a scam for about let me say 1 year and some month not untill a friend of mine was into forex trading so I visited him and I was watching what he was doing so one day he made a big hit for about $2000 for just a night. And That's what push me more to trade Bitcoin with forex trading I didn't pay to learn.

According to the OP, he had been very ignorant about bitcoin, claiming it to be a scam not until a year and some months ago when he visited and watched a friend of his make a big hit while forex trading. That big hit was all it took to change his mind about bitcoin. Then he remembered rather suddenly his bitcoin he conveniently bought and forgot years ago when he was still screaming bitcoin to be a scam.

You must be happy because you own that huge amount of bitcoin in your wallet. I don't know where you hold it, but make sure that it is not in exchange, as you know you don't own it because you don't have the private key on that wallet. I am also amazed at those people who are able to hold bitcoin for more than five years because they have self-discipline and have not been tempted to sell it off in previous ATHs. Those who forgot that they bought bitcoin are lucky because they still figured it out and were able to open their wallets.

I mean that's the definition of luck on a Bitcoin investment, and that's one way you could invest in Bitcoin, just buy Bitcoin and completely forget about it then huuuualaa easy profit.

If I'm the one holding that Bitcoin I will be really happy because that's a big amount of money but probably I would complete the 1 Bitcoin because why not? Also, it's not a good time to sell at this moment because the market is just starting to get hyped probably wait till it reaches All time high again, and then would think if I would sell it at that high or even higher.

Not the best time to sell, but there's nothing wrong with him wanting to sell it now, as profit taking is never wrong, and at the current price, he made a huge profit. We are all looking forward to a new ATH, but the future is unpredictable, so there is no need to be too greedy. If it were me, I would sell some and hold the rest.

OP, you could hold your bitcoin for 7yrs. This is a bold step that you took, since you understood that holding your investment for long will generate you more profit. I wish I could try this strategy of your to hold up to this years, but I will always be tempted to sell at every ATH of bitcoin. I guess you could hold for this long, because you lost access to your investment which helped your bitcoin to accumulate to 0.9btc,which you bought between the price range of $200-$300 in 2015. Bitcoin price is $30,this shows that in bitcoin investment, patient is all that one need to hit it big. You can sell at this price because you have made enough profit. I am holding my coins and waiting till 2025 bull market before I will sell it,so that I can make some good profit from it.

Do you mean since 2015 you have sold the rest of your Bitcoin holdings? meaning is there anything left over and is it being saved especially now? Therefore, you also caught the time when Bitcoin fell by around 200$, did you buy during these times?

Then if you had 0.9btc when it was still cheap and you hold it now, well, for sure you have the ability to buy a house and a car and a small business if you sell that amount at this time.

Of course, OP is lying through his/her teeth. And he/she's been doing this for some time, perhaps to earn enough merits and rank up and be qualified to apply for a signature campaign.
Burned ,  Wink i also have this same belief as a desperation to earn merits. 7 years of holding is something that only few or less people still in exist because the temptation of 2017 and 2021 turns them in selling their coin.
and as OP created other thread that makes this post contradicted .
It's always inspiring to hear stories like yours, and it's great that you were able to cash in on some of those gains. Here's to hoping the bull market continues for years to come!
if this is true then I will Salute him from holding bitcoin that long because I cannot even bring myself from holding in the whole 5 years .

Nothing, I can't feel anything, or maybe a bit regret because why just bought 0.9 BTC, and do not buy more at the same time?.

It's not only you, many people regret not buying even more btc at past, and in fact I've heard more ridiculous, they sold it less then $1,
so with this many fact, we can't talk about lingering regrets for many time, we have to fix it with not repeat it again in the future, It's not too late to buying and keep it again for long time, maybe today (2023) is the same at past (2015), and next 8 years, the price could be more than 100x like your regret.

Yes, I understand what you are trying to say, but I want you to understand something, trying to buy enough Bitcoin is one thing, and having the money to buy enough Bitcoin is another thing

Back in 2015, I wish I have a lot of money to buy more coins but I appreciate the ones I retain.

just imagine that if you bought 0.9 Bitcoin and hold it till now,

It depends on how much you spend to buy the bitcoin. If you bought it last year when the price was still $30k, then you will still have $30k now, so it depends on how much you bought the 0.9 bitcoin for.

Offcus I will feel just like someone who has 0.9 bitcoin. What else?

The feeling should be something else. I mean you have almost a whole Bitcoin. A bitcoin and that too in a wallet. Bitcoins are very rare and valuable, so definitely you should feel proud when you have these rare coins in your wallet. Of course the price matters in which you have bought, but seeing this increase in demand of the coin, the price will definitely grow. So if you dedicatedly hold the coins for more than a year, then definitely you will see great profits. At last you should always remain positive that you have good amount of coins in you wallet.

But you need to be more realistic, what is happening is that he still has his 0.9 BTC and has lost nothing after 7 years. No matter what kind of wallet he holds BTC in, but he still owns it until now, and he has not failed. At that time, knowledge about bitcoin was limited, and its value was not too high, so it was not their fault that they used centralized platforms to store bitcoins.
By the way, not all centralized platforms are scamming you, I mean, I don't recommend people to store their bitcoins on centralized exchanges, but if you know about Coinbase, they have also existed since 2012 to present.

You only created your account one month ago and you told us you bought your bitcoin 7 years ago and still hold it. I will buy a benefit of the doubt that what you told us is truth but let's say that it is like a trend, days ago I read a topic 10 years of Bitcointalk (and Bitcoin)

Back to OP, your story is really inspiring. That shows the true potential of Bitcoin, and those who have invested in Bitcoin in it's early days have earned a lot from it. I would congratulate you for holding your Bitcoin this far. I hope that you will earn even more from your investment.

If you actually did that and held 0.9 BTC from 2015 to now 2023, that would be pretty awesome (because you forgot) but you certainly haven't forgotten the Phrase Password. You will certainly gain a lot with 0.9 BTC at the current price of $30k.

But is it really real or just a hoax? Please take a screenshot of the 0.9 BTC to prove your ownership and don't include a wallet address or anything else to protect your privacy.

Of course, OP is lying through his/her teeth. And he/she's been doing this for some time, perhaps to earn enough merits and rank up and be qualified to apply for a signature campaign. OP is trying hard to rise through the ranks to perhaps earn a few bucks when finally accepted in a signature campaign. It's sad that he/she's doing this through lies.

Yesterday, he/she said:

Good day everyone I am here to announce that today has made me my 7th year as a Bitcoin investor, I am the happiest person today because Bitcoin has given me a lot of gains through investments.
I have invested in Bitcoin since the gear 2015 and I have hold my coins for a long time I almost forgot about it because I even deleted the application I used to purchase Bitcoin...

A couple of months ago, he/she shared:

And That's what push me more to trade Bitcoin with forex trading I didn't pay to learn.

So OP's first Bitcoin experience happened recently after dismissing it as a scam for more than a year? Or if it's true that he/she's been a Bitcoin investor for 7 years now, then he/she must have already known Bitcoin since 2015 or 2014. He/she must be an early adopter?

But he/she also said that:

Good day everyone, I am here to share my testimony on how Bitcoin has favored me, I have been a Bitcoin investor for a couple of years now even before I joined this forum,  although I don't know much about Bitcoin I have been quite favored through bitcoin.

This post gained him/her a bunch of merits, but it was just made last month. And if he/she's been "a Bitcoin investor for a couple of years now," why is he/she celebrating his/her 7th anniversary as a Bitcoin investor yesterday? And if he/she knew Bitcoin many years ago, why is he/she admitting that he/she actually doesn't know much about Bitcoin?

And then as to his/her first Bitcoin experience, it seems there's another one:

My belief on Bitcoin was formed when a friend of mine in the school bought a new car with he's profit, at first I didn't believe him untill I saw he's Bitcoin transactions I was like wow, at that time I was forced to learn little about Bitcoin stuff.

I don't believe that there is any sudden reduction in Bitcoin price from now till the end of this year or even next year, so please do yourself a good to ingrain in Bitcoin if you haven't.

That is why many investors used last year to invested huge amount of money on Bitcoin, because they believed that this year will be a favourable year to all short term investors and long term investors. I believe, you will still invest more on Bitcoin this year, so that you will still have more to achieve in another 7th year to come because long holding is a favourable strategy many investors use to improve their incomes. I think, I will use this period to purchase another Bitcoin and add to the previous one I purchased so that there will be hope for me to achieve good results from my investment when the price of Bitcoin hit $40,000 soon.
Holding coin for a long term has been the best thing to do,more especially now that the market is not stable to always get a desired result,it is only holding that can seem to be success guaranteed. It is more important to invest now and hold for another longer period of time so that in the nearest future, you can turn a multi-millonaeare.One thing I love about holding is that it doesn't have much risks involved, the only issue with it is that it takes a longer period of time to get to the height that will yield you money.

Let's now hope that if we invest now,in the next four to five years coming,we are going to smile at the investmest we made today, and not having a cause to get angry at the money spent. One thing I know is that Bitcoin has always been delivering when giving time, and despite other coins popping up,it has always been a standout coin among  other coins.

I can't imagine seeing that bitcoin in your wallet, even at the height of the 2017 bull run, that is already a huge amount. And as you have said, you have been holding it then in the last all time high $69k already.
If I bought bitcoin years ago, forgot about it, when will I possibly to check it back and find where I stored it?

A highest chance is when Bitcoin has its parabolic growth in its big bull run after a halving. Like you said, likely in 2017 or 2021 when Bitcoin made its two latest all time highs about $20000 in 2017 and $69000 in 2021.

Suddenly remember about it in a bear market is less possibly.

Yeah, thanks for the reminder, I  think those who are late into bitcoin are still trying to save as much as they can. It doesn't have to be 0.9 or even 1 BTC. Just buy what you can afford to and continue to accumulate over the years just like what you did.

I started way back 2016, but i just make bitcoin out of hobby like faucets back then as im just a student so i cant afford buying such thing not until i was referred here a year after and got more knowledge and have opportunity to earn even just a bit back then.

So from that 0.9 BTC that you've recovered, how many was left on your holdings? But before I forget it, no one has yet to congratulate you for staying and being a bitcoin investor for this long. I know that there are that are longer than us but this feels like the time has flown so fast that we haven't noticed that you've been on this space for 7 years. Too many things have happened, the ups and downs, the roller coaster journey that you've got. I'm just a curious guy to know how actually you're holding right now from that retrieval but you're not required to answer that and it's already enough to know that you're still holding up to this point. And by the way, more years to come.

OP I see you have only created your account for a short time. And here you are saying that 7 years have been completed. You may have been under a different name before. However it doesn't matter if it was here in 2015 the price of Bitcoin was very low maybe $200-300. If you've been holding onto Bitcoin ever since then you should definitely appreciate your patience. You didn't sell when Bitcoin hit a high of $69,000, so how long will you hold on like this? Currently the price of Bitcoin is $30k still if you sell you will have more than 100x profit. But I think it's better to sell your investments with a certain boundary.

I recall when the price of Bitcoin was less than $1,000. I had no idea Bitcoin's price would rise to around $70000 at the time. If I had known that, I would have surely invested. If we go back to 2016, we will feel that the price cannot go up because it is too high; it may dump, but it will not. It's the same for us now; perhaps we'll say the same thing that was said so that we don't put off investing in Bitcoin since we can keep up with the price increase because we're still in the discounted zone.

If I had invested in Bitcoin in 2016, and I still have it now, I would be very happy, but I would be disappointed that I did not sell while the price of Bitcoin was still about $60,000. However, I continue to expect that the price will rise above its all-time high.

Back to OP, your story is really inspiring. That shows the true potential of Bitcoin, and those who have invested in Bitcoin in it's early days have earned a lot from it. I would congratulate you for holding your Bitcoin this far. I hope that you will earn even more from your investment.

Good day everyone I am here to announce that today has made me my 7th year as a Bitcoin investor, I am the happiest person today because Bitcoin has given me a lot of gains through investments.
You only created your account one month ago and you told us you bought your bitcoin 7 years ago and still hold it. I will buy a benefit of the doubt that what you told us is truth but let's say that it is like a trend, days ago I read a topic 10 years of Bitcointalk (and Bitcoin)

You have two more topics which I think you can use one of them for celebration too.
A word of inspiration and hint.
A world of motivation

You are so lucky if you bought it 7 years ago and actually did good backup which is usable nowadays. Congratulations if you have it and can sell it above $30,000 which is not a price many people dreamed of 7 years ago.

So you sold your coins after 7 years or do you still have these coins in your wallet? Really your post is as confusing as my English  Grin .

About having 0.9 btc in my wallet will make me happy because I can enjoy having nearly 1bitcoin more in my portfolio. I want more bitcoin in my wallet after this year.

just imagine that if you bought 0.9 Bitcoin and hold it till now,

how will you feel?

It depends on how much you spend to buy the bitcoin. If you bought it last year when the price was still $30k, then you will still have $30k now, so it depends on how much you bought the 0.9 bitcoin for.

Offcus I will feel just like someone who has 0.9 bitcoin. What else?

BITCOIN THE EAGLES EYES

Good day everyone I am here to announce that today has made me my 7th year as a Bitcoin investor, I am the happiest person today because Bitcoin has given me a lot of gains through investments.
I don't believe that there is any sudden reduction in Bitcoin price from now till the end of this year or even next year, so please do yourself a good to ingrain in Bitcoin if you haven't.
