MinerFTW needs to realize that the new masternodes work.
And he needs to realize that he is not the dev of litedoge.
Also he needs to realize that the update was Pre-Anned since may 20th. he didn't bother to say any objections until after it was released.

@aquitasIJ I for one do not spend a lot of time on the forums and don't read the OP every day.  You've mostly been absent since the almost failed release of the coin while a few of us have been promoting and helping the coin gain popularity and value.  Why try to fix something that isn't broken?  I hold a large quantity of litedoge and do not agree with the way development is heading.
what do you mean you don't agree with the developement?
the inflation is too high so the pos reward needs to decrease.
and adding features to the coin is good.

and you are telling me that you haven't checked the thread in 11 days?
the update and new features were pre-anned 11 days ago.

why are we even having this conversation.
new features = good
lower inflation = good

what are you and minerftw smoking  Huh

We're having this conversation because I DO care about this coin.  Why should I have to check this thread when the coin has been working perfectly since MinerFTW helped you fix it?  Also, I lost a lot of coins during higher rewards due to all the forking.  It's the dev's responsibility to keep the explorer running and MinerFTW had to step in and do that for you as well.

New features are not always good.  Lower inflation is usually good except in the case of where so many of us lost out on a lot of rewards early on due to things being so broken.  I think the coin has a better chance at gaining value keeping it the way it is and not making changes right now.  Let it stabilize and grow a bit more.

Also, you should listen to the community.  ALL of the community... not just this ONE thread.  Do your job.

Also when people and exchanges update to the new wallet, they will automatically find other peers using the irc thread that is in the new wallet. so we won't need his nodes any more( the ones that he keeps threatening to turn off.)

Oke. I will disable them then.

I hope the dev stops leeching on other peoples backs and setup a working explorer for his coin himself instead of letting other people pay for it.

Dev don't want them from me then its fine by me also.

All enjoy the day and if the good guys need anything shoot me a pm. im out Smiley

Inputs for new proposed darksend/private LiteDoge wallet

After due consideration, I propose the following:

  • 10 million coins for masternode wallet (5 million too small & 25 million too big – 10 million also gives incentive to buy and hold more)
  • Limit the total supply of LiteDoge to 21 billion (currently approx. 4.4 billion mined) to ensure easy price comparison (x1000 more coin) against the 21 million limit of DASH and Bitcoin – ensures comparison with Doge and Darkcoin/DASH for future marketing of coin and increases overall price.
  • Reduce POS mining rewards as follows (keeps it simple and ensure longer term rewards):

         - Block 51,000 — 129,999: 30,000 LiteDoge Reward (High reward for this transitional period)

         - Block 130,000 +            : 5,000 LiteDoge Reward (Medium reward ensures longer and stable high returns)

Hope this helps.

I have noticed a bug in windows wallet v1.2.0.7-g32a928e (using it myself too):
when you exit the wallet, the process stays open and you can't start it again
you have to kill it through task manager
I noticed this on all 4 machines running it, (Win 7 x64, Win 8 x86 and Win 8.1 x64) so I suppose it is not a specific computer's problem

maybe this is what prevents you from running it?

thats one of the bad things that happend with the latest wallet, btw you will notice that this dont happend always, sometimes you can close it without having to kill it through task manager.

im still trying to sincronize, wallet stuck, closed wallet, start wallet again, stuck on a different block....

btw our dev already sayd that today he will release a new wallet, im waiting for it Wink

the new wallet finds other peers automatically.

another new wallet will come today also.

When do we move over to the new wallet & how do we POS with it? Any user manual for new wallet? Thanks!
I'll make a guide today.

Thanks aquitasIJ - that sounds great!
If we all pull together we're going to reach the moon!

because irc thread takes a while to shut down.
if you wait, it shuts down by itself without task manager.

That's great news, MinerFTW
Only way to go forward is to do this all together
However big we'd like to think of ourselves, no one can support a coin alone and all by himself

Thank you @MinerFTW!  I don't think enough people here really understand what you've done for the coin.  I know for sure they don't know what I've done to help it.

I hope you choose to stay around and I really hope dev decides to work *with* you.  Since he has been MIA for most of the time we were working hard to promote this coin and only now steps back in to make changes to a working wallet... I think he needs to become part of the community first and make changes second.
