I have heard (I think in Zapchain) about these e-mails. Strange, I use the same mail in several sites that are not very trustworthy and never received something similar.

I use a different email address for every service I subscribe (including BCT), so I know where they got my address. Today I got this one addressed to the address I use for my localbitcoins.com account (HTML formatting removed):

Hello,
Many people argue that Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme. The article in the link definitely prove, at least to me it is not. What do you think?

Hello there!
Someone payed localbitcoin to give them a list of their registered emails.
I know somebody who was crapping on another site for doing the same thing, outside of the bitcoin circle. Companies are just that, companies. Made to make profit, the human condition, wanting wealth in any form. Selling your email address = quick profit.

You're likely to get spam like this anywhere your email is publically available, that's just how it works.

It's clearly spam IDK why Google's AI didn't filter it out automatically?

Oh, I've got millions of recipients receiving send me money requests from the same trash company! I'm a smart robot, I'll just put this in the important box.

I don't have an account at local bitcoins but still received an email of this sorts. Might be from another service
Same here. Never used localbitcoins.
Bitcoin-24 was the only place that knew the email address where this "Global Advisors" ponzi offer arrived.

Makes it wonder if the service went through some kind of hack...

Move On !!!!!!
Yes we have already another thread like this:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/global-advisors-ltd-1181545

I have received an email like this as well. I am also sure this is from localbitcoins since I use this handle only with localbitcoins. I have also reported this issue to localbitcoins, let's see what will they reply.

This is pure BS if you are asking me and I am passed about it. I hope they will come out with the explanation about it and with the official statement. Either somebody has hacked their email database or somebody has sold the email addresses. Disappointed!!

This is clearly propaganda promoting the globalist agenda of lies. I've received this spam with an email address I'm sure I've only given out a few other times besides posts to the flat earth forums.

Don't let their subliminal message of a globe earth hit you while you're stunned by spam!

How are they getting your email?

My guess is from localbitcoins or someone who works there.
If the email address was only used for that website then it doesn't take much to figure out what is going on.

Where is my ring of blades...
this is a common thing for localbitcoins.com users. maybe they leak their users Email addresses. since you say you have not used your Email anywhere else this means they might even be selling Email addresses to advertisers to spam you with Emails.

of course there is another possibility that their system is so week that it gets hacked and Emails leak!
