Elon musk and John McAfee just walking on the same street. But I am sure Elon musk is the most aggressive viral person who already announcement several times when the dogecoin, bitcoin and safepal. But very recently his tesla car suspended tweet affect bitcoin badly.
There is a big difference between Elon musk and john Mcafee and that is the fact that McAfee got paid to be an official advisor for some cryptocurrency projects and he also actively promoted them.
This led a lot of people astray due to his reputation and that is wrong
Elon on the other hand is chilling in the same manner that a lot of people already chill their favorite coins and he isn't promoting it to anyone as a good investment... So it is very different

Used to absolutely adore him and saw him as my role model until his recent interference in the crypto community. Definitely lost all the respect plus now I don't want to remotely associate myself with Tesla or any of its products. Thought the man is a genius but never knew he would lose brain cells to get some attention from the teenagers especially the sheep.

I do respect your own words and presumptions but if we do dissect out on what are the things that had been done by McAfee back in the past compared on what Elon is been doing now then you can tell the difference.Elon doesnt shill out any projects or ICO trying to say that this one is a good one and simply skip out and find

You think if he promotes dogecoin that means he will scam us one day or another? I don't think so instead it only makes other believe in crypto as you can see the market was pumped once he just talked about it. He even openly said tesla invested 1.5B in BTC.Douchebag like John Mcafee did those things but I don't think Musk will ever do it to ruin his reputation for a few million dollars if even that much.
NO McAfee is known not only to be making tweet and promoting token but have been engaged in many projects even put him as part of the advisory committee. Elon has not gone that far by directly promoting crypto project but rather choose one of the oldest coin (Doge). Whoever is making financial decision based on what anybody tweet is doing so at his/her own risk
I believe this guy (Elon musk) worth more than billions right now because doge has no max supply, only God knows how many doge coin this fella buy before making that crazy tweet over the internet, anyways the guy is on his way to ruining his reputation, good luck to him
Chilling and shilling are different words mate, shilling is what you're trying to say. But all of your points are right and valid, there's almost no difference from what Elon is doing these times. While in the past it was McAfee's spree but it didn't go long. While for Elon, it seems more to be effective and long-lasting while he benefits not only his pocket and portfolio that he shills but also his companies are also taking advantage and benefits from what he says. People should have learned that not everything he say is they're going to take it seriously, I wonder how many of them have realized it this time when the correction happened.
I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would ever compare Elon Musk with John McAfee. But that time has come now. What Elon is doing is pure manipulation.. although I don't think that he is profiting out of it. I can no longer classify his actions as "trolling". And I really don't know why he's doing this. John McAfee promoted shitcoins for monetary rewards. But why Elon is promoting them? As far as I know, he is not getting any payments.
It is a form of entertainment to someone with his amount of money and is used to satisfy his enormous ego. Elon was only ever looking out for Elon, regardless of what his many sheep, sorry - followers, may have thought. I give him credit that he spent a lot of money on Space X and some of the stuff with Tesla (mainly related to battery production), he has done more than many billionaires who would rather buy football clubs or hundred million dollar yachts. If he was able to control himself and act with just a bit more decorum he might be more respected. However calling rescuers names, constantly hyping cryptocurrency for fun and engaging in what effectively amounts to insider trading with the Tesla stock all earned him a bad reputation with most professionals.
Elon musk is slightly better than McAfee, I accept this fact but right now Elon is taking the same steps that McAfee took in the past, Elon is brilliant I'm what he do but he know nothing about crypto, if he does he won't be chilling a coin like doge coin, a meme coin of all coins that can really do some good, I'm disappointed in him already

Everyone has a different assessment of Elon Musk because some of the people who have benefited from Dogecoin will clearly consider Elon Musk as the basic benchmark for Dogecoin prices and even always wait for Elon Musk's tweet every day.
