Hey buddy, you can sign me up for an interview. I've been in the space since 2016, went from trading to working for one of the biggest exchanges and now I am full-time on my own blockchain game development.

I also think it is a good idea to increase the interviews with the "Average Joe" that incorporated Bitcoin into their daily lives. It will be nice to see how they conquer the daily challenges to use Bitcoin. (Note : I say "use" not "invest")

I think a lot of businesses out there want to accept Bitcoin, but the services that supports it... might be a challenge. (Invoicing/Receipts/Taxes..etc)

Also, what their experiences was with services like BitPay and Flexa and how they handle Bitcoin's price volatility. The legal framework is also an issue that will require some very good innovation to accept Bitcoin as a payment option.  Roll Eyes

No doubt you have a lot of interesting interviews, but I have to admit that I didn’t like one of them, and that is the one that promotes Bitcoin Cash. Most people have not forgotten what happened when the people behind that project tried to impose that coin as the only and real BTC, as they do today.

The missing question in that interview is "why did you choose Bitcoin Cash instead of Bitcoin"?

Yeah that's a fair point. If I ever do an update I'll ask that question.
I actually spoke to that person if I think its the one you are reffing to (I have interviewed 2 BCH folks) and if it is that person I actually spoke with them extensively on the phone and the answer kind of made sense to me at the time anyway. But I'm not one to judge man, I just do the interviews Smiley

Have not been around this space in a while. For anyone interested, maybe nobody, lol. I just secured the domain https://cryptofireside.com/ which I am pretty friggin stoked with to be honest! When does that ever happen! I've been buying domains since the mid 2000's and thats almost never happened, meant to be maybe Wink

Anyway the project is going well, lots more interviews, lots more people reading. We are up to interview #27 and we will hit #30 in about a week or two and then onto #100 Smiley

I am grateful for the support here by the way everyone!

Jus thought I'd bump and say that I just finished interviewing one of the coolest people around.
He's 70 years old, he's a musician, writer, poet, actor, talk show host, singer, song writer, plays multiple instruments, artist and now he's minting NFTs.
The guys name is Smokey Miles, he also goes by Count Smokula.
Check it out if you are interested. The story also gets a little crazier because the guys that put him onto me and also the same people who are helping him mint his NFTs are the family and kid behind the Balloon Boy Scandal from a few years back! Wild. To make it crazier Smokey knows Lloyd Kaufman from TROMA Entertainment really well and I grew up obsessed with The Toxic Avenger...turned out Lloyd liked our interview and so he re-tweeted which doesn't sound like much but it's just one of those things.
Anyway, check it out. https://cryptofireside.medium.com/how-a-496-year-old-vampire-is-selling-nfts-9e526b9381fa

You pivoted from talking about projects to talking to people behind the project. This is a pretty cool idea. I think a lot of the earlier projects started out from within Bitcointalk forum. You will probably find a lot of these people from the Altcoin ANN section.

While getting general crypto people to talk is great, it'd be exceptional if you can get hold of one of those anonymous scammer devs who keep pumping out shitcoin projects to rug people.

Besides that, if you can get some of the OGs from here to interview, that'd be nice too. From community mods, tech guys to constant trolls, BCT has a lot of interesting crypto characters. Best wishes for this.. Smiley
People make projects, people make everything and so I am interested (personally) in the people behind the project because, well, they made it. I want to know how and why they did it, what makes them tick, get a bit of an origin story, some founder insight, that kind of thing.

So far people seem to enjoy it too.

I absolutely would LOVE to speak to people from this forum, OG's included and yes also legit ruggers and scammers (I did interview a "scammer" but it is just a meme token, legit cool guy BTW). If you know anyone, point them my way.

Thanks for the interest.

Hello  Smiley I am also new here! Just looking to get more information about women in crypto/NFT and trying to connect with the community for our gaming crypto project. It would be nice to hear from your perspective about females in gaming and crypto. I really enjoyed reading your article. Hope we can connect.
Hey man, for my first interview with ProfessorPonzo (I think he/she now goes by ProfessorKronos) I asked if he/she is a girl because many people in the chats were saying that they we're. It'd be pretty cool if they were but I really don't know.

Hey, Great job Man...

It will be a blast if you can conjure up some interviews with the controversial issues and characters in the Crypto scene, like Gavin Andresen, Mike Hearn, Roger Ver and John McAfee to get the behind the scene information on their latest projects and also some answers on why they turned against Bitcoin and why they tried to sabotage it. (The real reason, not the financial reasons)

I think the most interesting interview can be with Andreas Antonopoulos (The person behind the Legend) .... because people just love this guy!

Good Luck!!
The end goal is to interview Satoshi  Shocked

Hi all,
I am fairly new here.
I think I may have had an account here way back in 2013 or something.
I was recently re-introduced to the forum through a person I just finished up interviewing (Leandro from Cloudbet) because he asked me to link back to the forum.
Anyway...I started interviewing people in written format for Medium in a blog I dubbed Crypto Fireside.
Basically, I interview people from the Cryptocurrency world. I try to get a bit of an origin story/founder story type thing.
Personally, I am more interested in the people behind the thing than the thing itself and I think that there's already so much content out there about the technology behind these projects and the money side of things.
So far I have interested some pretty interesting people. Some of my favorites were an NFT artist from Michigan, the anonymous developer behind Rootkit finance, and I'm about to publish an interview with a guy that runs a hot dog stand in Cincinnati and allows people to pay in DOGE.
Well if anyone is interested feel free to read and follow along.
If it takes off some, I'll probably get some dedicated hosting and run it through a CMS like WordPress.

Good luck with your blog.  I really like the presentation and it does have a personal feeling to it showing that you really are interested in the people in the space.  I'm glad whenever I see people trying to create something cool and that's what I see here.  You clearly have put a lot of work into this and it shows.  I'm looking forward to reading more interviews in the future and hope you stick with it while maintaining the same fun and personal energy.
Thanks OG, yeah I am working on a couple at the moment, always try to keep a pipeline going Smiley
We just hit the first page of Hacker Noon with an interview I did earlier with a young guy that started a Cardano Stake Pool.
You work with a crypto casino right?

OK, my offer is open.
I have regularly shared hosting and I had some free space. It's no problem to add your potential site. I can register a domain for you if you can't because of any reason.
you don't have to pay anything for it.
Hey man, thank you for that, it is appreciated.
I have already registered the domain name cryptofireside.com (with SquareSpace from memory).
Probably before I dive into something I want to get a bit of design, logo, that kind of thing.
Will absolutely keep this in mind.

It's pretty good, we need the crypto people to speak and have their opinions be heard out. I would visit your website maybe tomorrow OP because I am busy but not curious enough to do it right now.

if you mean to seriously push this idea, maybe I could help you to start something more serious.
I can give you some hosting space, register a domain, some basic help with WP setup there. it won't cost you anything until you become profitable, and then it will be enough to cover the minimum server costs.

Yes I am very serious with this.

All of the articles are being republished on Hacker Noon (so far) and just today I managed to get one published on Coinmonks via Medium.
