A real adoption involving daily life. Lately, there have been many projects involving marketplaces, MSMEs, and service providers that have been built on the blockchain network using cryptocurrency in its activities. This is very good in improving the function of cryptocurrency so that the general public will get to know it better because it is directly related to everyday life that is popular today.

What do you think the crypto world needs at the moment? (I'm talking about projects)

In my opinion there is no real platform/website that offers everything you need. For example, news, some kind of trading tools or indicators, educational program maybe hot articles etc...

Im not sure about what are you saying but the fact if you are doing your research more deeply and i guess you will fine some good platforms with real products. I suggest you take a look at the santiment platform which created a prediction market, there was a lot of platforms are offering the trading tools too.
Crypto has all of the projects that are needed right now but the fact not so many of them can create products and that's why you will find a little bit difficult thing to search where they are.
For the news and you can use various news site like coindesk, i remember people mostly used augur, santiment as market prediction tool and some platforms are offering educational platform too like edu.
But the problem is when those products not working properly.

I tend to think of what crypto *doesn't* need rather than what it does, but that might just be my jaded outlook speaking.

Bitcoin needs quicker confirmation times, and that's the first thing I think of.  Most altcoins can be sent almost instantly and usually with lower fees as well.  It kinda shocks me that merchants will accept bitcoin as a payment option but not something like doge, dash, monero, or another altcoin that would be more suitable.

As regards ico projects, I just think they need to die off until it isn't all scammers infesting the space.  There's so much potential for platforms like Eth, but nothing of substance has yet been created that solves real world problems.  I'd like to see a blockchain solution using Eth that can actually be used to help a real industry.  That just isn't the case as of yet.

More adoption would be great, but it's a slow process and I accept that.  I do think that the younger generation will be more receptive to crypto and that adoption will grow with time.  Patience is needed for that.

Bsinesses to adopt cryptocurrencies are one of the things that this cryoto world needs. If the cryptos have more use, more demand, then more people will support it. This will create also more opportunities not only to investors but also the clients of the crypto. And for this to happen, the public must be first educated what cryptocurrencies really are and separate what is fact from not.

this kind of websites are already exist in the market and usage on that website is plastically high and if anyone coming up with the same Idea investors might not be attracted and they won't invested on such projects.
Then please look after the needs in future focussed, so if the price of BTC bumping to next level then again we may find the more investors on cryptocurrency.

I think you have learned very few platforms. what you want now is a lot in this market( a lot of such platforms). I believe that now the market lacks some projects related to cybersecurity or projects that will protect your data from hacker attacks and where you can store your data in safety place
Well, sounds good but you can protect your own in a safe place without a third party needed. The problem of that is the trust between the parties. There are too many projects that have a redundant idea but they are all failed. I think the IEO should have strictly filtration in every project launching. They should be completed all the details they have especially the team identity. We can't deny now that most projects have KYC, so they should also have KYC on IEO's staff.

Investors with brains? Pouring money into decent projects? Instead of supporting terrible projects or scams? That will help crypto in the right direction because right now the rest of the world must think very little of crypto in some instances such as the number of scam projects and projects without substance receiving funds.

I think this forum is enough source of information for news, trading tips and more. Yeah though there are some platform that have the same content but they only differs on the credibility. For news update I usually go for cryptocrunch, while for trading tips or educational articles are can be seen in some section in this forum. There's a lot of thread that in this forum which can help for your learning.

I agree mostly because here on the forum you can find links and hear of other websites to find good sources of information or even money-making opportunities. I owe this forum so much for what it has done for me. Bitcoin has literally changed my life and given me something to believe in and fight for. It's totally up my alley. I dislike governments and banking systems so its only natural a levitate towards something decentralized especially when it is something as important as money/assets/personal wealth or whatever else you want to call your belongings or investments or services.

We really need regulation in crypto that's what I feel. With regulation we can get rid of fake and scam projects and also fake Exchanges. And with regulation new projects will not be coming up daily bases. We also need security projects more.

For the cryptocurrency industry to truly mature, institutional investors will have to participate. It is the best way to bring a new era of cryptocurrency stability and trust.

More education, but some exchanges are already offering that, and i am pretty sure that Binance has thought about expanding as news site as well, but i am not sure how biased would that be.

Agree on the education part ! People don't know what crypto really is so basic knowledge is must needed if we are going towards another "crypto explosion".
Can't wait till Newscrypto.io finishes their school program. That's something to keep an eye on.

I think we need a little support or endorsement from the government in order to achieve mass adoption because the benefits in the education program will not be maximized if people are afraid to be involved in crypto space as their government is against in cryptocurrencies.
By support from the government, I believe you mean regulations coming to crypto. If actually the government tries to checkmate what's going on in crypto, especially new start-ups doing token sale, it will definitely reduce scam and build confidence in investors. But honestly, involving the government is like a "two edged sword" because there are some drawbacks since decentralization will be jettisoned. I really think what crypto need now is quality projects with awesome products which are scalable and more advanced than existing projects, which also abide with norms of legal authorities. Also, crypto enthusiasts should believe in the crypto vision and learn how to be patient.

They need money, good idea, released product and a competent team to lead this project to success. The market is very tough and even if only one thing from those four is missing, the project is very likely to be dead.

Educational programs, I think there was a project which once offered this, I think it's Bitdegree (stand to be corrected), don't know if they really succeeded because it's been long I heard from them. For the other you mentioned like news it's already existing but for trading tools or indicators am yet to see that too. In all sincerity, I think we need projects with real world uses and adoption from team who will stand and ensure it comes to fruition.

an education program for new users on how to hold a wallet and keep their money safe, I think it's far more important, sometimes there are still many people out there often carelessly losing their money in crypto
Actually, if you will search for it, there will be a lot of results on how to keep your wallets safe. This is already a thing to be handled by the owner and everyone should be responsible for it. If you are concern about them being careless and losing their holdings, they should be concerned about themselves first. Many reminders and tutorials on how to avoid scam sites and avoid being hacked are published almost everywhere.
I saw that there are lots of tutorials out there but unfortunately people prefer to read news about bitcoin and buy bitcoin, but they forget about risk and lose money because of their carelessness, sometimes we always get people who make FUDs and blame bitcoin for their own mistakes, people like this must be considered

Well said, because as an investor you also have some responsibilities and doing your own research is one of it. You should not rely on something else and it is much better to explore on your own to learn things. We are the only one who can make decisions for ourselves and that is the reason why we should be careful particularly on choosing a wallet, we need to be a good observer and researcher to find the best since we all know that there are a lot of scammers and gackers these days and we have to protect our funds. If we truly wanted to avoid having some problems on storing our funds then we should discover things that might help us and enlighten us because we can't blame other people with our stupid actions and decisions.

Crypto world needs many more new investors who can see the potential of this digital currency, i'm sure there are no better decentralized payment compared to cryptocurrency and i'm really sure there are many people are preventing cryptocurrency to growth because they cannot control people's money anymore if this cryptocurrency is becoming mainstream in the future.
