But why would they even care. As long as you are getting traffic and clicks the adsense people should love you. I've never done adsene before. What are some other reasons they may ban someone, and if they ban you do they hold all the money that was supposed to come your way?
It's not fair to the advertisers. They are paying for clicks when the clickers aren't even interested in their product. If Google would allow that to continue, they would eventually lose their advertisers.

I believe that with the borrower's adsense account being suspended and Bitcoin's price increasing, the idea of defaulting became more attractive to him.

Violation of site policies. I think faucets get more traffic and therefore higher payments from adsense, but paying surfers is against their policies.

As stated in our program policies, AdSense publishers are not permitted to place Google ads on sites with content related to programs offering incentives to click links or ads, read emails, or surf other websites. This would include, for instance, auto-surf sites, pay-to-read email networks, and sites comparing various pay-to-click programs.

Yep. He got screwed hard like a babyface 18yo by big bubba in prison. He made the right call giving the loan though, its just one of them loans you must write off as a loss. Even the ones that look the best can turn into default.
