maybe I'm too late to reply to your topic but before that I had predictions and speculations that bitcoin and altcoins would not change in price, they would go sideways until the end of December 2022. And after that, starting in 2023, there would be no movement in the market.
but mid-2023 I have a prediction that there will be a slight price drop in bitcoin and altcoins will follow.
but that's just my own prediction according to my analysis and let's see the truth this year.

anyway this is the right time to start buying and hoarding your chosen crypto assets. because the current price is really very cheap. but choose crypto like bitcoin which is really worth holding on to the long term.

there are some things we must consider that there are players that also wanted to change the direction of the market and we must all be aware of that.

That's possible as we can't assume what happened in the past will also happen in the future. There might be changes but one thing i'm certain is, this bear season won't last forever and it's just a temporary sentiments. Thus, if we believe the market will recover then there's no reason to doubt the future especially if you're an old investor who used to this kind of situation. Weak investors might quit because of the long waiting but remember you can't gain anything if you sell at loss.

Year end usually marks the change of sentiment. It means so far we had bearish market in 2022 which may change in 2023. But unfortunately most people do assume that change of bearish is bullish only but we have another market condition which is 'sideways'. Sideways market condition is a situation where markets do get stuck within two specific price level.

I am not saying we are going to have another bad year for crypto users but we could not get a new ATH in 2023 but we may see some relief from bearish market in next few months which means market may show some recovery from the current bottom levels.

If you remember, after Bitcoin reached its ATH in December 2017, we have bear season for 2 years before we saw the latest ATH of 67k$. I really don't believe on speculations like due to fed interest rates bitcoin will go up or down and bla bla. Till date majority of bitcoin bull runs are without any backing of events.
I must say if you are looking for long term investment in bitcoin then this is ideal time to buy bitcoin but in phase like DCA.

In the context of FUD market is facing on daily basis, it is very unlikely that we will see any major rise in the next two weeks. The best scenario we can portray is that Bitcoin continues to trade around 17K and it doesn't falls below 16K. The market is expected to perform better from mid January-23 when holiday season will be over and investors will start rebuilding their portfolios.

Actually what he said is about BTC gaining the trust of the public so that should make BTC hype up and when BTC hypes up, alts can follow. Maybe the effect is only delayed because there are no good increase that is happening lately and the price did even drop a little but this helps BTC to be more in demand. BTC performance for the whole month isn't always on the low but there's also times that it recovers.

Any recovery on price gives people a hope and we think that it was a sign for the BTC price to take off and start a bull run. The year of Bitcoin and Altcoin must be from last year. It was already ended but no there are no follow up increases that happens within this year.

Many were expecting us to enter the last month of the year with a rally in bitcoin as well as the market. With inflation falling, the Fed lowering interest rates, all of which are good signs for a green market but then things went differently than expected when there were so many Fuds around Binance, DCG selling their crypto assets to save Gemini, and Genesis.

The market is difficult to recover at the end of the year, just over 10 days left until we end the year, and at this point, we are sure that the market will end the year with another red candle.

I disagree with that, not because we can't go to 20k, but also we can't just limit it. This months biggest price could be 18k, it could be 25k, it could be 25k and then drop to 18k as well, anything could happen in crypto world. Like for example if you try to decide on just this month, then you are more likely to be wrong than right.

Like I said, there is nothing stopping bitcoin from going to 25k first, and then go down to like 17k all over again and this is even likely, we could talk about even as high as going to 30k, and crashing to under current prices as well, all quite possible. This is what we should be wondering about most of the times.

Have you checked the current BTC price? It is below $17k. Since we almost reach the second week of December, I doubt BTC price possibly achieves 19k-20k at the end of this year. I assume that BTC price probably increases to 17k-18k, or it drops again to $15k - $16k.
