I rather see a stable graduate increase. The prediction is just pure guessing btw.
Indeed, but can we see a gradual increase in crypto when this market is called a high volatile market?
I think it might take time if it will happen, but until that time comes, we need to be realistic at the current price movement its giving to us.

Amazing this prediction also took into account Bakkt Futures.

Well ahead of his time as Bakkt wasn't even a thing!

Well, plenty of other people have challenged others to screenshot predictions. That guy even probably has scores of other predictions that didn't go wrong, or scores of other accounts predicting all kinds of scenarios. You know how it goes. Bragging rights.

But if 1 guy can challenge others to a million dollars and promise to eat his own d*** and you know he won't, what's the point of all this machismo with price?

Besides, he only has 5 days left for $16k. He won't get it right.

And if he does... so what?

I think your prediction about the price of bitcoin in 2020 is really terrible because there is no price decline, because bitcoin price movements should have an up and down flow, if you describe always going up it will not be possible.

The prediction went wrong and now the price of Bitcoin is going down so do you think that in early 2020 the price will go up just like you said? Grin I don't easily believe in predictions but c'mon its so good to see them and shred some light for the holders especially when the market turns red Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

We still have few months for this, if the $16k will will happen this end of this month then the rest prediction will be possibly happen, as if the $16k will reach now, many people will trust the speculation as it happened many times, so we still have 5 days left, let's see if it will happen.

I guess every user has its own desired price level and predictions and that probably pushes them forward. Still there is a need to be realistic, not to have expectations that are exaggerated and can't be realised.
Having in mind current situation on the market I don't think we can't expect anything more than to go to 10000$ by.the end of the year but of course that isn't certain.

And even that sensible prediction doesn't seem like it is going to become true, as we can see today the market of cryptocurrencies is going down significantly once again, and I will not be surprised if the direction of the market was maintained for the rest of the year, if we are lucky the price could close the year at 8000 but if things continue to be this bad and the interest in this market keeps going down I will not be surprised if we see a price of 6000 by the end of the year.

I would argue mostly if you want to believe, don't believe the chart.   Have more then the price as a reason to believe, the price is not actually something that matters.   Even more important is the price we most often take as our headline is just a reflection of the $$ Dollar strength or weakness on that day and its not a real show of what Bitcoin is, only how it contrasts to a FIAT standard.
People don't seem to be aware of what Bitcoin is at all, simply because of how they are so focused on making gains. They always calculate back to a dollar value because that's what they are after at the end of the day.

I think it's fine that there is so much interest in the profit making side of Bitcoin, because people need an incentive to be here.... most of the perma bulls didn't start out as perma bulls, but as get rich quick noobs.

Also, the very fact that we still calculate back to the dollar value of Bitcoin, it perfectly shows what the actual dominant currency is..... definitely not Bitcoin.

Does the chart never lie? Just trying to get your opinion on this matter.

The chart lies because people lie, to themselves to others and in the trades they make and the money they place some of which is not theirs to keep.   People will buy and then sell lower when scared of a falling price, the chart is no certain thing and I find its definitely a human thing in that it will never be completely obvious nor see through in its true direction.    There is also too a feedback effect, when the chart is rising then people feel more confident but its just a price and not a reason to buy.   Its generally true if people buy on flimsy reasons they will also sell just as easily.

It’s true that every prediction is not realistic but I think everybody here hope for the best because they have invested a good part of their funds so they do not want any loss, and talking about the price prediction I think the price of Bitcoin has faced many dump in last months, now it is again on its way to up, so at the end of this year the price of Bitcoin must be above $10k.

Most predictions are just joke, false prophets are just spicing things up but they have a purpose only for entertainment. People should stop doing it unless they’re showing their bases and technical analysis to support their theories.
it is reasonable. some people make predictions with their analysis and speculation. sometimes they get enough accurate evidence and information, which allows the price of bitcoin to go up high. however, some do it blindly. so it's only natural that some of the analysis isn't right.

bitcoin is on downtrend in large time frame (weekly) and on under 200 MA which means bearish
the price is 7900$ now so need gain more than 100% to be 16000$ same as the prediction, but i think it's so hard that never happens in this month

Why do you think almost all (I want to say all but hey, benefit of doubt, right?) the crypto funds in 2018 lost money? And big money too, mind you. Fundstrat and all the big boys who make the headlines all couldn't make money. They're in the same idiot boat as we are;)
Well said. It was a brutal massacre when the bubble finally popped.... no one could have seen that coming, not even the whales people always think manipulate the price. It's hard to think of anyone who didn't lose.

Even hodlers lost out because they saw their stack lose +80% of its value from the top---value no person likes to lose despite it being a hodl stack because we get used to that value and think of what we could do with it.

Mike Novogratz, who is a billionaire, lost like $80 million with his fund, so the smaller fishes definitely don't have to blame themselves for anything---losses are inevitable once the craze people got used to comes to an end.
This is one of the ugliest realities of the markets that many do not want to acknowledge, it is very easy to be a trader or an investor when the market is going up all the time, at that point everyone looks like they are a bunch of geniuses due to their profits, but it is when the markets go down when you can tell the difference between the good traders and the bad ones, the bad traders lose most of their profits and some of them even lose an important part of their capital, while the good traders still lose money but not as much, both traders lost money but the difference is in the magnitude of the losses.

anyone can predict the price of bitcoin but not necessarily what is thought in line with reality.
so don't expect too much into reality.
we are in the real world not in a fairytale world.
Everyone has their own predictions of bitcoin price. This is the reality in crypto the price could fall so deep and it could surge up. The point in here, we don't know when we could expect the price of bitcoin to increase. But, we can take this opportunity to have some btc at this price and wait to take profit.

it's just a prediction, and I don't really believe it if it's true then I'm also happy to hear that, now in october 2019, he who posts that october 2020 bitcoin will break through 16,000 usd it's very possible, considering that many people believe that person's prediction then people race bitcoin buying  from now until the price of bitcoin is increasingly.
But I think we should be positive regarding this situation because thinking positive always brings something positive as sometimes or mostly the predictions come true and may be this prediction is also one of them. In my opinion buying bitcoin from now will prove the most brilliant decision as mostly I believe in predictions and that decision become very good for me and hope that bitcoin will be at a very good price at the end of this year.
