3d movies are over rated in my opinion I have a tv which has 3d and I have only watched around 10 movies on it I don't know why maybe because of the lack of movies made in 3d.

They are over-rated. It's just a gimmick really.

Especially when the glasses batteries always run out every 2 weeks and can become expensive very quickly.

Turn them off?

They are turned off if not in use but the batteries don't last long when in use if used a lot.

Speaking of 3D films, any new ones that are good?

I saw Avatar in 3D at the cinema and it was amazing. We sat fairly close to the screen and it made me jump how close things seemed.

Watching a 3d film on a tiny screen is like listening to music on a potato.

I have some wonderful 3D movies. But I can’t play them with my PC, iphone, ipad and even using the TV box on my TV. That’s very annoying. So is there any way for me to play the 3D movies? I heard there are some TVs with Wiggle Stereoscopy. Do I need to buy such a TV to play the 3D movies?

I'd suggest just buying a decent 3D tv if you want to enjoy 3D films.

You can do it low tech on any screen with RED/BLUE glasses.

There's plenty of test videos on YouTube (play this one at full screen it's awesome!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SVbzkdHcdU

But to do it properly, you need a 120Hz TV/Monitor screen and polarized glasses.

You can now get laptops with it built in.

Or upgrade a PC with a Nvidia graphics card that supports 3D.
