Hello Guys , Maybe im just stupid or i dont know how to pay using Bitcoin to a website

I'm confused, did you make a mistake or what? The GDAX I know, doesn't make use of the dot.us domain,  so which one are you talking about, or was that an error?  If that's not an error then it's likely that you have entered a trap and that $850 is gone. Oh… wait,  you said a wallet wants to help you transfer that as $750? Maybe you should take the deal instead risking your money in this GDAX.us or whatever you call it. Even GDAX no longer goes by this name any longer, they now go by the name “Coinbase Pro”. Just do anything you can get off that site if it's possible before you lose your money.

You can use any site exchange
Yes there are so may site in the market all of them will offer you good exchanges but trust me most of them are not trust worthy, we should try to obtain benefit with legal and good sites for trading, other additional advise from my side is that now is time to hold and trading now is not going to make profit for you so please keep holding later on you will get huge trading profit.

Looking forward to the response the author of this topic. I really wonder where did his $ 850 and whether he could return them.
It seems he got scammed and as we know once you lose control of your coins then it is impossible to recover them, I am sorry for the OP and this should not happen but we must be alert because this is becoming more common, scammers are realizing that as crypto becomes more popular the average users knows less and less about computers so they are easier to scam.

He doesn't seems replying for his exchange of GDAX but as I research this coin is scam and some discussions are about that.
If he needs to exchange the bitcoins for any payment option you could check it on exchange section on this board.

Nope selling the tokens back will not be possible and market growth may decide if that listed on any reputed exchanges.

Oh no sorry mate, I see you're new to the system, even some of the older ones on this platform or elsewhere also do get scammed by this phishing sites. I guess this should teach others lesson on how to make proper researches before sending funds to any kind of crypto exchange platform.

I'm confused here, did you just say GDAX.us? Man the GDAX I know doesn't go by that name and recently GDAX has evolved to become Coinbase Pro and this is their website  - https://pro.coinbase.com. So if your wallet is still showing GDAX then I'm sorry to say that you're using the wrong site and by the way the main site I know is not even using the dot.us domain. You really need to check that wallet and see if you can get your money moved to another wallet asap, if not, then I'm sorry to say that your money is gone for good.

Why the topic-starter didn't store he's bitcoins on electrum wallet, but on a 3rd-party site? As a result, he lost his money. I don't understand why people so trust 3rd-party services and platforms to store their deposits. By giving their money to 3rd-party sites, such people refuse 1 of the main advantages of cryptocurrency - freedom, freedom of ownership and disposal of your money. So hard to learn to use electrum?

Well maybe you didn't understand properly but the issue here isn't that he trusted a 3rd party site but that he got scammed (the real GDAX is legitimate and a perfectly fine way to get Bitcoin). I mean to be fair the only way most people can buy Bitcoin is through a 3rd party site. Even if you buy p2p you could still get scammed. The only no scam way to get BTC is to mine it.

I don't know whohc wallet you want to transfer to that is giving $750 for $850 worth of Bitcoin. Are there no other wallets that you know that are more useful and cheap than that one you have mentioned? Maybe you should withdraw from that GDax to blockchain wallet and use it to buy whatever it is that you want to buy. If you mentioned the wallet you're using and the place you want to do the purchase, it would have been more easy for people here to help you.

you can trade on bitcoin. i think before the trade you had better observe the price changing of bitcoin. as a beginner there are many places to observe bitcoin and other alt-coins. you will be able to find many number of sites which related to this topic, just search 'bitcoin' in google.most of the investors and experts in currencies are post graph details and predictions about bitcoin. you can observe those and begin trade in any exchange

Trading of bitcoin is quiet easy and simple now than before where it's really difficult to go through. Now escrow services has made it easier just like we have LUNO and the rest which you are aware of Luno is quiet simple to go through and it's well used.

Sorry but GDAX.us is a scam

The real GDAX, (which belong to Coinbase) switched to "Coinbase Pro" https://pro.coinbase.com/ (they changed the name Source: GDAX is now Coinbase Pro).
Also, the domain was .com not .us and on its website, the About Us Page is filled with fake photos

Here are a few conversations about GDAX.us

Thanks for sharing this valuable information, members like you are helping this community grow. I have more trust on my fellow forum friends now. I wish I had some merits to give you. I was about to use gdax the fake one. You literally saved me from being scammed.

So you need to make sure you send bitcoins, because you can lose them forever and now you must come to terms with the loss of bitcoins.
