Lol, I hope this doesn't affect your legitimacy in paying people for the Luckybit campaign.

Rest assured, if this isn't resolved, we, the operators of LuckyBit, will pay everyone that entered a deal with howzar on behalf of LuckyBit.
We would like to prevent any negative impression stemming from this problem to fall back on LuckyBit.

I'm curious if this is another account that howzar's bought? If not, why don't you start the sig campaign by yourself then? Shocked

Owner of LB here.
Well, this is just to confirm our post from LuckyBitSupport, since you seem to doubt even from this one. Wow, such paranoia! Smiley
Our two accounts, mine and LuckyBitSupport, can be linked for sure to LB in our main thread.

howzar is the organizer of our sig campain. If you wonder why we didn't organize it ourselves: it is quite some specific work, so it is pretty common for operators to hire somebody for the duty. I just hope he sort all his mess, and that it stops to splash on our own campaign.

Let us repeat it again: rest all assured, what this guy started (our campaign) will be finished one way or another. People will be paid as planned anyway because they entered in a "contract" with LuckyBit, not with howzar.

I publicly apologize for the mess.

IMO a ban should be visible in the user's profile, so campaign owners may identify rule breakers and refuse to pay them. This should solve a lot of problems.

Banned members should have a tag saying the user is currently banned. Previously banned members should also carry a "probation" tag for a set period (about a month) before returning to normal member status. That means, once they get banned, they loose a month's earnings for their sigs. If they spam again during this "probation" period, it's a permanent ban. This should be enough to deter most members from spamming.

I had previously suggested withdrawing signature privileges for members banned while using a paid sig, which would effectively do the same.

EDIT: but as hilariousandco mentioned, there are then other considerations this wouldn't help resolve.

Yeah, I think this would be a wise idea, not to mention helpful for others if people are currently in the middle of a deal or loan etc. If you can't log in or PM it could easily look like you've done a runner. It was recently discussed in one of the other ban threads in Meta.

You are howzar and Mobo?

Yes I am both.

Lol, in your signature campaign thread you forbid people from having multiple accounts... And what we see now! Grin

Those were the terms set out by the original operator/owner of the actual deal, but those terms were actually just copied directly from Ritz's thread any way.

Multiple accounts make sense only if you're going to submit more posts than the upper limit set for the campaign. I'm curious how anyone is going to write more than 3,000 posts a month (and not get banned at that)... Cool

Not neccesarily for those reasons. I think Ritz just put that in there to make it fairer and to stop one person gaming the system in whatever way. Ironically it was monday that was the cause of Ritz's deal ceasing operation initially because he was buying multiple accounts to collect the upfront payment (though this was Ritz's fault for offering up-front payments. Also I don't think he originally stated only one account per person was allowed then).

Huh

Im utterly and deeply confused.

My account: howzar was placed under a ban. (you are banned from posting on this forum or sending personal messages)

Could a moderator please clear up the darkness around this? Thank you.

Is it a temp-ban or perm-ban?

I'm not sure, I've been trying to discuss the matter with badbear but he doesn't seem to be online now and banned my other account to prevent me from messaging him.

As soon as I tried to reason with badbear he banned mobo.  So here I am again to try and discuss about this situation.

I didn't ban you to prevent you from pm'ing me or asking questions, I banned you because YOU, the person are banned, not just an account. Not only are you a pm spammer, you continued doing it after being banned on another account (Mondy) for it. I don't really see what there is to discuss.

I'm not going to ban you just for posting in this thread though.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say the pic below combined with lots of low value post that were obviously made to increase your post count.

~BCX~

Added: After seeing Badbear's post above, it appears you are "double covered" in getting banned. PM spamming and Paid Signature post count abuse. LOL

Same reason as last time mondy. You send unsolicited pm's trying to buy people's accounts, since you've had accounts banned for it in the past you knew full well it wasn't kosher. Also really annoying to those who get them, stop it.
