I would like to introduce my website http://junktion.io we buy anything in exchange for crpytocurrency.

Similar to a pawn shop buying your items outright in exchange for cash, we do the same but with the crpytocurrency of your choice.

We will buy anything you own in exchange for BTC, ETH, XLM,XRP, or any coins avaiable on binance or bittrex.

Why did I create this website?

I created this website because I used to invest in lego sets and sealed action figures as well as other items throughout the years. I loved doing this and had a passion for doing so like many others. This proved to be a decent investment until I learned about crpyto. As an investor I saw everything around me was worth something. All I wanted to do was turn everything around me into cryptocurrency, so I created that service myself.
Junktion gives people the opportunity to turn random household items into crpytocurrency.

What do we buy?

We buy just about anything electronic or worth something. We will agree upon a price in a private conversation

We are based in the united states, New jersey to be specific.

If you have any comments questions or concerns about the service and how it works please feel free to send me an email [email protected] or comment here.
In order for me to buy your item you must fill out the form on the site.

I have a ton of stuff I could sell you.   Computer parts (SSD’s, RAM), car parts, kids toys, etc.  you are relatively close to me so it would be inexpensive enough to ship a large box.

I just wanted to address some of the comments here. If a seller for any reason would like to use an escrow service I have no problem using whatever service they feel is necessary.

I am willing to do anything to make a seller feel comfortable selling to Junktion.

I can assure we are not a scam of any means. As of right now, it is not a company policy to use an escrow as we have just started paying out in crypto and are still figuring everything out.

In the future we will have some sort of an escrow and JUNKTION WILL PAY ALL ESCROW FEES TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR SELLERS

This is a growing project and I am very thankful for the comments left here. It is leading us in the right direction.

If you have any recommendations with escrows that you have used in the past please suggest them to me. I have never used them

I want to let you know that this looks very good, I did not mean to offend when I was giving my criticism; I wanted to convey how seriously everyone around here takes using an escrow.

If you'd like a full list of "Trusted" escrows there is one maintained here : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recommended-bitcointalk-escrow-services-2439910

I have personally used SebastianJu (https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/sebastianju-18640) in the past, no problems, very safe, responsive and allows both parties to set terms to their satisfaction.

This is 100% a step in the right direction; you do not need to use an escrow for every transaction, but it seems like you understand that you should at least offer it every transaction. I'd assume these first few orders will certainly require an escrow and big orders will probably require escrow. There will never be a point that you are free from escrow, but with a good reputation you will find yourself being trusted by many members.

With your clarification here, I'd certainly be willing to dip my foot back into your service and see what we can agree upon.

Since I have so many items I would like to sell I think I'm going to fill out your forms for just 1 or a couple reasonable items to get a feel for your service. Once we've successfully made a deal I would have no problem posting a review, my experience and how fair/smooth the process was. If I'm satisfied, I'll fill out the forms for everything I have.

Is there any particular category that you are most interested in so I could try to cater my first order with you to be something we're both excited about?

It can be tough when you are a start up and when you are trying to build a brand of yourself. Take these comments as guide what to look for because escrow is one of the things that gives people hope that everything will go according to plan. Of couurse for this there needs still to be a trust between that 3rd party escrow.

Other thing is that some people might try to play around with escrow guy to get money even if they don't send the package. It is risky but you have to do this in order to build yourself as reputable because when others see that your company is trustworthy anything will follow.

Anyway good luck with this, it is an interesting idea!

You should modify your thread and add information about the escrow arrangements. There are several highly trusted and reputable escrow providers on this site who can hold coins while trades are completed.

The idea is for people here to feel protected when dealing with you, especially because you have a rather new account. A trusted escrow can reassure sellers that they have your bitcoins in hand. Sellers from anywhere in the US can then overnight their stuff to you, you then appraise it and instruct escrow to release a certain amount of bitcoins to the seller.

Offering escrow protection will encourage reluctant sellers to come forward and offer something to sell.

I will not be using any of the escrows on bitcointalk at the moment. This is not the type of service where I feel one is warranted. In all pawnshops do you have an escrow? most likely not. I have been in business for some time and have a social prescience. I would not do all of this to fake anything. I am not trying to make this more complicated than it has to be, we agree upon a price and I will pay you exactly so long as the item is what you say it is. In order to make these deals as easy as possible for the seller we agree upon a price and I give you the quote in writing via email that way you will always have a copy of the price.

There is nothing to worry about so long as you are being honest with what the item is. IF you would like cash or part cash in the deal I use paypal as escrow and pay you as soon as the item has a valid tracking number without that I will pay you upon receiving the item.

Yeah honestly, it's a great idea but with no escrow? This will never take off the ground. We're talking about giving you items and hope that you pay us back the agreed upon rate. It's just a crapshoot really. You have no reputation so at least for a while an escrow is a must.

Social presience huh? I have no idea who you are... This is the internet not my local pawnshop that I can bring stuff to and walk out with money. This model isnt even comparable. You are very arrogant to think people will just send you their "junk" or you are just a scammer. Which is it?

Then count me, and probably everyone else, out. I was very interested when I thought this could be mutually beneficial, but at this point it does seem like you are not interested in your customer's security.

The reason you don't use an escrow in a pawnshop is because the pawnshop is physically within grasp; you do not release your item until there is cash in your hand. The reason escrow is needed here is because you are not a physical shop, you are asking us to provide an item and hope you pay us after you've received it. I have $100's in items I would love to trade, but without escrow I would be asking to have them stolen. Your reason for not providing an escrow does not make sense, and therefore you have no good explanation of why you will not be using an escrow.

If you are interested in properly conducting a deal, I will work with your company; until I can guarantee my items, safety and payment I will not be throwing away my items to a possible low-tier scam.

"Paypal" is not an escrow and it certainly is not acceptable here, on bitcointalk. I would personally suggest nobody use your service until you reconsider escrows, unless they are planning on donating instead of selling.

Having an e-mail of the price you said you'd pay does not help when you have my item and refuse to pay. This entire company just started looking very suspect. There are typos on the website, it's poorly designed, you're refusing to use escrow and there are no reviews; sign me up for some of that "social presience".

If you want to be successful with this, then you need to do it properly and right now you are just coming off as another short-sighted scammer.

This is definitely the kind of service where an escrow is needed, whenever there are two things being traded an escrow is needed or you throw away your security. There certainly is a lot to worry about, even when being honest about our item; we are entrusting our items and money into your hands and if you don't think that's cause for concern then you don't know very much about this community.

EDIT :
-snip-
If a seller for any reason would like to use an escrow service I have no problem using whatever service they feel is necessary.

I am willing to do anything to make a seller feel comfortable selling to Junktion.

I wanted to throw this here, so that anyone who reads my criticism can also see that it has been addressed, and addressed adequately in my opinion. I don't want to be the reason someone avoids this service under false pretense, because they stopped reading here.

I recently took 4- Speakers, a radio and the wire harness out of my car and was looking to sell them as long as the price is fair. Is this something you would be potentially interested in? It seems like you're pretty close in terms of shipping, and I have a lot of things I'm looking to pawn that others may find valuable. I was speaking with ha gentlemen from Africa about a similar deal, but it fell through because of shipping prices being too large an obstacle for the two of us.

I also have many iPhones of previous generations, some cracked, but a few are in perfect condition. I have old desktops, laptops, televisions, monitors, cables, adapters, connectors, controllers, game systems, games, old collectible sport cards. The list goes on and on, we could speakk more about specifics viia PM or a chat program.

As someone else stated though, escrow will definitely be a must unless you're interested in going first for a couple members to review your service at the very least, this will definitely not ease everyone, but it would be a phenomenal show of faith. Escrow will be necessary at the very least, as long as that is cool with you we should have no problem making something happen (assuming you're interested in my stuff).

This I would be for sure interested in. Fill out the form on the website and we can talk about it over the phone or something.
