I think wallets have transactions written in them (got it from here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/help-whats-the-mean-of-this-thank-you-2063997)
This probably means that you could just use a program like hexedit and change the contents of your wallet to have a transaction that doesn't exist on the network.

Why you sell it when it can not be used because password protected. Try giving it to someone, who knows who can find the password

I don't really think that this would be true I mean if you have tons of bitcoin why do you even have to sell it for a 0.1 btc,
If you really want to do it I would gladly take it but you just have to give me the btc first then I would pay your 0.1 BTC ,
Since like you are just giving the money then I would gladly take it .

That's purely an impossible scenario if true mate, there's no free money nowadays and surely the situation might turn out to scam people in the long run. If you will have to read the thread most of members doubted a lot due to the statement wasn't so clear and the amount of btc promised was so big. Even ICO project could not provide that promise to give an amount like that, without rasing any project at all. Certainly this a scam strategy of non reliable individual who wanted to make an instant money.

yeah thats totally imposible. i think wallet does not belong to op so OP trying to force who ever to crack that wallet. or maybe he trying to trick us all.

For the record... there are at least 3 others attempting to sell "legit bitcoin wallets that contain 468 bitcoins" Tongue

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9OB1liHciD8
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYhcPdfsBh4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tPqSEU0r8og

And then qasimilyas99 with this one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kWL-U1F-ec

Honestly... anyone paying anything for this is an idiot... It's a total "scam".

qasimilyas99, some friendly advice, I suggest you attempt to delete this thread before you end up getting some neg trust feedbacks from less tolerant users.

see you connot trick us here OP . maybe you should have making a bad decision to post/create your thread here just do blame people but you dont. therefore your operation is in the end by this eagle eyed members here. lol

By the way according to the video, you have sent 0.0768BTC to an address

https://blockchain.info/address/173P6kZ6qoyYxFiKpPHGtSGr1iuVuEMPjt?show_adv=false

And yet that transaction doesn't appear on the blockchain.

I am guessing that you forked the blockchain somewhere and the 468 BTC is gone from the real blockchain but in the fake blockchain in the video it still exists.

Wait, where in the video does he send out a transaction?
I just watched the video 2 times and haven't seen this happen

EDIT:
Wow, nice catch!
I just noticed it was the address from the transaction info
And indeed, the provided address has 0 transactions on 28/04/2014

----------

Considering this wallet probably has a strong passphrase, this kinda does belong in the gambling section
Running a brute force for your whole life on the wallet will be like playing the lottery, almost 0 chances to win, but hey, there is a chance, and the prize is huge

OP make us funny lol.

I am 100% confused as to what's going on in here but i'd like to take part?  Roll Eyes
If you do try to read the OP before posting then you will surely know whats happening on here Smiley . First of all its not really the proper board for this kind of post and i believe this would be on goods section but who the hell would definitely pay up 0.1 btc for a wallet that cant be access? Feel like you are just wasting off your money and impressing other people isnt really a sensible thing to do.

Well, there are people

I don't understand the attack on OP
He never said he's selling 468BTC wallet for 0.1BTC as most accuse him of, he said he is selling a wallet he does not have access to.
The price is steep, but the product is legit
There are people, cocky people, who would pay to have this wallet for bragging rights

EDIT:

OP, why isn't the transaction from the video on 28/04/2014 presented on the blockchain?  Huh
its really good to see that OP put this up here since whoever interested to this offer will really making a big gamble risking to catch this wallet
but its really difficult or maybe next to impossible but sure there's still people who's willing to take the risk.

Send it to me for free then.

If your password is like 30-40 characters long then it will be next to impossible to crack. Rather use that power to mine ETH instead.

He already understood that it is not going to crack wallet so now he wants to sell it for very cheap price or free to some trusted members. But if it does not belong to him then he shouldn't sell it to others and why want to cheat others to make money? I don't support these kinds of activities to cheat other people.

Dear xvids,
I have 468 bitcoins but i can not use it because it's password protected, I have also no single GPU to crack this wallet but i'm waiting for GPU Rig Owners who will help me to crack this wallet & in rewards he will get 100 bitcoins, reference >> https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/--2063493 , We all know that in back 2009 we can buy many bitcoins with only $100 but now it's price rising. I have already mentioned purposes of this wallet.

1) Why would you post two topics, one in Goods (makes sense but you have to clarify your post and intentions first) and then one in Gambling? Gambling is not the place people are looking to buy encrypted wallets from.
2) Would you care to get someone trusted to vouch that this is, indeed, legitimate? (anyone high up on the escrow list should work)

/s

Please checkput Video evidence: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9kWL-U1F-ec

Not sure why people attacking you here, this is very simple situation.
OP is in the possession of a wallet to witch passwords are unknown.
This is watch-only wallet and buyer can use it for fun, amusement or to fool his friends etc.
He is clearly saying that bitcoins inside this wallet are not spendable.
If I remember correctly OP was offering a bounty for cracking this forgotten passwords, I guess with no success.
IMO no scam here.

Exactly.
