It's a bad practice to continue holding on to the past. That so-called "2009 opportunity" is history and we all have to deal with that. The best solution we can give ourselves is to take definitive actions and get in now to prevent any further future regrets.

I agree with you overall. The truth is everyone will keep wishing for the good past as we can all see in the case of bitcoin. It is not a bad thing to wish but it is a bad thing not to take action when necessary, especially when you still have the opportunity. Bitcoin has the capacity to increase tremendously in price and many people will yet wish they bought in the year 2018.

truth. it would be a waste of time to think about the price had in the past. What we should do is observe the price of the present and if have any chance of raising the price in the future

YEs, I agree with OP wherein wishing about bitcoin investment from when it had started is no longer necessary since I believe what matter's most is now. Just act early if you want to invest in btc since wishing backwards could not help you make your goal achievable in cryptocurrency. In the near future, btc price would not be the same as the present and therefore you need to do it now so you will no longer regret that you haven't push through with your btc investment.

Wake up! Come to reality. This is 2018, yet you still wish you bought Bitcoin below $0.01 in 2009. The truth is that you will never be in the year 2009 again till you die, and Bitcoin will never be below $0.01 again. You just have to focus on today and the future. I am also sure even in future when Bitcoin would have reached a far more higher price hopefully, People will still wish they bought at least in 2018. So therefore, be grateful to whoever introduced you to Bitcoin today, and also accept that you joined cryptocurrency or Bitcoin at a time your creator wanted you to. Make the most of it now.
You are right. Just forgot the past and look forward for the future. Just make the past as your mirror in the future. Even we did not identified bitcoin earlier we are still luck because bitcoin still alive and has a chance to give us a bright future. All we need to do now is to invest without doubt and fear because of the market situation.

Wishes are always the daily conceptions of people living in the past. A lot of people who joined the crypto community because they think cryptocurrency can make them rich within a short time. They are reasonable for wishing they bought bitcoin in 2009..

Yeah it's looking like the train is about to leave the station. Bitcoin over 7300 and the CMC at 240 Billion. Not sure if this is a false start fake me out or the beginning of the real thing. I would make sure I was loaded up at this point.

Hahaha! It does get annoying does it? I think the only way to stop them from wishing is if a time machine was created and that they can go back! The price from almost a decade ago will no longer happen. We are about to enter 2019 in a few months and what we should be doing instead of wishing is deal with what's infront of us today. I wish I had done this or that is a daily thing people people always say when they believe they have missed an opportunity. Instead of continuous lamentations, it is best to focus on the present or the future.

Most of those who are constantly regretting that they didn't bought bitcoin in the year 2009 when it was like a cent are probably doing so because they might have encounter Bitcoin then but regarded it as scam or ponzi scheme. I mean, what do you expect, many of them might have heard about tulips that went on in the 17th century in Netherland. It takes being risky and steadfastness to invest though.

People are always stuck in past just because it presented some advantages forgetting that the present has its own advantages. The market price of bitcoin now shouldn't discourage you from buying some bitcoin. Opportunities present its self in so many ways. All you need to know is to understand the market trends of bitcoin.

It's been 9 years since Bitcoin was announced and the price can hit up to $20k. Then, if we can wait for a little longer like 5 years, I can expect if bitcoin can hit $100k in 2023.
