You maybe have a good luck on winning such a huge amount, congrats. But if you say quitting from gambling completely, that will be very hard to do if are used to be a gambler since you will always be tempted to bet again every time you see chances to make good profits. However, quitting is also a choice. You can chose to never go gambling at all once you have already committed to it and you already have found something that will steal your time and attention.

Well he said he was going to quit until 2023 and not forever, 2023 is already around the corner and the OP will just need to not gamble for two months, unless someone is addicted to gambling spending 2 months without gambling seems pretty doable to me, so I believe the OP should be able to do this without too much of a problem, other than that he seems to be on a roll earning 10500 in just a week, which are results the majority of small stakes gamblers will never see.

In any case, it's a very good idea to take a break after such a big win rather than rushing back in and immediately putting money on the next game. Do whatever makes you happy, but you don't want to get burned out or lose your edge. Those who I see that decide to quit are usually losers or have had enough of losing a lot of money, but never winning from a huge amount of money I don't know if he's joking or what but we are left speculating on what really happens that made he decide to quit does he has a promise that if he won huge he will eventually quit, we never know until he tells us.

As I understand it wasn't a common stake for you and you made it because you've recently won $9000 from a fat finger mistake. Since you are a regular gambler you should really take this behavior seriously because when a regular gambler starts to place risky bets with big amounts it shows he's starting to get addicted to risk and big wins. It's the worse thing it can happen to a gambler, because if he loses he will start to borrow money and to fall into very bad troubles for him and his family. I hope you will stay responsible.

Congratulations on your very nice winnings! 10.5k profit is really nice but since your winnings are so large I would wager a guess that your bets are also quite grand. I feel like you might be leaving out the amount you lost when before that :S But I do not want to bring your mood down, so I will just say congrats.

I also applaud the incredibly smart decision to step away from gambling for a while so you can cool down from the excitement of winning that much money. It would be in human nature to continue gambling because you "feel" as if you are on some sort of "lucky streak". And consequentially losing all your money by doing so. I know thats exactly what I would do in your position. :S

10500 dollars winning can be a reasonable amount of winning that can make someone quit gambling for a while depending on you location because to some other players here 1500 dollars plus $9,000 winning is still a small amount that they are still ready to risk with playing more games.
But in your case, I think you have taken the right step toward securing your winning prize because you may still lose everything you don't quite know that luck is still on your side

Just like the rest been saying that quitting gambling is unlikely considering that you are making money and if you target out on quitting on 2023 then it would really be that unlikely considering that you are still

making money through it.Even myself cant really resist the temptation on making out more bets if you do know that you've been hitting big neither on online casinos or on sports betting which is something that not everybody could pull it out.
2023 is still few months ahead and hopefully op, you wont be losing up all of those winnings on that time span considering that it wont really be that much of a big money

That's what will probably happen to OP, it's highly likely that he will continue gambling another time and will stop for a moment to enjoy his winnings. He might lay low rather than stop as he already knows the feeling of winning such a huge amount. I also said to myself that I will stop gambling as I've been on a winning streak before yet I'm still here.

Anyways, still congratulations are in order, and I hope that you'll be an exemption to us gamblers and will be able to stop after winning that. There are only a few percent of gamblers who are able to commit to their decision on quitting gambling.
