If this thing is real - the launch went about as bad as it possibly could have!

Well, the author only got to mine all by himself for two hours, not several months, so this is still a massive improvement over ixcoins. Smiley

I think a more strategic way of doing this is when difficulty is about to change say 100 to 50 blocks left, then the hashing power is diverted to the other chains = lower difficulty. They're genius!  Grin

Yeah, but their timing sucked balls.

So is i0.btcguild.com down for mining?
All my miners were running fine before the launch, and now all is gone.

+1 @wolftaur.

We should do this more often.

Yeah. And for bonus points, next time we should let them mine on the chain for a while. Bigger hit!

The difficulty isn't going to stay super low for very long......so that should sort it out soon enough.

I will add 1Gh in 40 min ....

Doesnt it seem silly to pool mine when difficulty will be 1?

Im just asking.

Decentralized mining at least at first makes more sense to the concept of bitcoin. When bitcoin started there were no 150 GH/s pools around.

Make your choice, but pooling when difficulty is uber low seems very silly.
