I can't see the bounty thread, why there is rank limit?

There's no rank limit, it got deleted. Re-created in different section: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/betbase-bounties-1691732

REAL TRUSTED INDEPENDENT ESCROWER-

Sebastianju

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1102721.320

I totally aggree . SebastianJu was used as an escrow for most of my buys and had no problem with him . Also he accepts tips and not % payment for his services , so i think he is the best solution for your ICO .

As of escrow, we think it will be best if it won't be an escrow from Bitcointalk, we need a real trusted (and I mean really TRUSTED) escrow as we can not afford to risk any of your money.

I strongly doubt you will find a "really trusted" escrow who would risk damaging their reputation to enter a deal where their only responsibility is ensuring you've issued shares (which we all know, offers absolutely no assurances and even if it was a scam would still get issued). If an escrow agent is not able to offer either side any meaningful assurances, it gives a sense of impropriety and increases investors risk.

Yes that is right it is not the responsibility of the escrow service whether or not external trades or promises made happen or not. They just hold the money and release it when the requirement is met. Only a shady place would want to take that risk since they wouldn't care about getting a bad name because they will only go and open a new website and do it all over again.

so how can the investors be sure you will not "disappear" after the ICO funds have been transferred to you - if there will be "trusted" escrow that will handle ICO funds.
Even having "shares" distributed, it will be worth nothing unless a working product is delivered on time and without bugs and issues.

Personally i didnt have any problem with him after the first delay, he was honest and explained the reason about the delay. But after he disappeared for weeks i couldnt trust him anymore.

Hi, thanks for question.

Firstly, the working product is already delivered and fuly functional.

Secondly, back then, we just wasn't able to deliver the product on time so we didn't have anything to inform David about. We didn't actually disappeared. Yet we take responsibility for it.

Betbase is a priority #1 for me personaly (and the new team is dedicated to betbase). I'm really excited about this and so is my team. We've spent hours and hours of coding and you can trust me when I say that I'll never leave Betbase if there will be anyone interested in using it.

That's a commitment.

...

For example me, almost Legendary user (any day now).

are you joking? you? cause you are almost a Legendary? why would someone trust you? oh sorry for dumb question cause you are almost Legendary

if you would be smart you would go back into last row and let other trusted users do the job but only if your team has a trusted user

Escrow will be provided for the ICO from start to finish. Bankroll will be managed by Betbase after that. There's no other practical way.

P.S. While I'm busy making friends, I'd like to offer my services as escrow. I would be willing to act as escrow, where I only release funds after  issuance of all shares and personally conducting a basic due-diligence and security audit of the code.

I would be happy to offer this for a flat 3%, but I would only be able to offer due-diligence/security review if the ICO got > 100 BTC invested. If my findings or opinion is negative, I would offer a period for people to get a refund on their bitcoin (in exchange for shares) before releasing it to betbase. Otherwise I would release funds to betbase, and not further be involved Grin

and you would release the funds to whom? why not keep it and handle it as long term escrow so all investors can be sure it will not disappear into the dark?

That would be fine if we wouldn't need the money for our bankroll.

RHavar knows how to handle a Bank Roll

That wouldn't be neither practical nor cheap. We use cold storage for finance so that will be OK. It's a common practice when doing ICO.

Dear All,

As i was personally mentioned in the topic i would like to give a short summary about my project.

I started to build WageCoins in April after i get in touch with MoneyPot team, especially with Rango (Acoin)
He advised me Johny as a developer. Our agreement was that the site will be ready with all features until May. (1 month deadline) Johny had some issues so he couldnt keep it. I thought it is okay because every project can have problems. We agreed again to fix everything latest in June.

Johny and his team fixed the site except rakeback function which was totally messy. It is true that he was working on it to fix it. He couldnt fix it.. After that Johny disappeared for a while and i became very confused about MP team and his job too.

We had a very rough conversation after that between Rango, Johny and me. ( the rakeback was still a mess )
The project was taken over by an other developer team, they fixed all the functions.

It is true that i am still in contact with Johny we talked on Skype and i said congrats to him about his new project.

Personally i didnt have any problem with him after the first delay, he was honest and explained the reason about the delay. But after he disappeared for weeks i couldnt trust him anymore.

I still want to say congrats for the site and i hope if someone wants to build a casino at them they will provide a prompt support.
