the issue is not just how fiat goes in... its also how fiat goes out.

Thanks, I mean both direction, but we all know that the rate at which the money is entering the space far exceed the rate at which it is leaving, recent Chinese story speaks volume about this

Iconomi might eventually go in that direction. They've had their ICO, their basic project is live, and they're working very hard at onboarding fiat and other old-world economy factors. Their background is Cashilla, which was a Euro-to-bitcoin exchange, so they have experience with that sort of thing.

Are you referring to platform to buy ICO that is listed in the platform? Something like Kickstarter?

There is a project that has just completed ICO, you can try to search for KickICO.

Many ico here exist by giving the advantage to decentralize something, if you want the centralized one, you should simply go to some company that provide the same product in the same category.
and by the way, such project that's centralized often make an initial public offering.

the thing is that these decentralize part of ICO adds too much risk to it, not giving normal investors the chance to invest in products that suit their risk profile. hence im looking if theres an exchange that is a bit more centralised in nature..

Decentralized exchange is the future of ICO coins, centralized exchange has too many disadvantages and is being abanded gradually.

i hardly think how the system when the exchange becomes decentralized? because all i know exchange sites are centralized systems but it is interesting to look for where ico innovation will showcase the idea of a decentralized exchange, of course i will also invest in it, see many users are also interested in the decentralization of exchanges

ico market is too huge and full of scams.. if there are any exchanges out there with ICOs that have passed due dilligence, i would definitely want to sign up for it. this is because the ICOs out there would get the recognition they deserve. not sure about you guys. what do you think?

thanks for sharing your views!

I never heard yet an exchange making trading ICO into a centralized one. Most of the exchange now was still in decentralized concept though they're some exchange that already centralized were some of the traders are avoiding it, due it has a restriction of course  to the platform.

There are no exchanges that I know of doing this either. But there are definitely more and more websites and services targeted at marketing ICOs. I have seen in project development a few ideas of ICOs that want to help people to make decisions about ICOs. Sort of like a decentralized way of "community regulation" to collect and compile ICOs. Maybe that is the way to start it for now.

Such might be the condition for new ICOs in restricted countries like China in the near future. But wherever we are free to go anyway, decentralisation is freedom.

I believe that is not the perfect idea to go with ICO. We have seen what happened with ripple. At initially it got all high but in the meantime it faced a lot of lawsuits problem and troubled its existence. The ripple was big enough to oppose these law suit problems but we can expect this from each and every ICO that might come up as centralised one. These regulators will for sure stay on the backs of such centralised ICO to either have their benefits or in goodness to save the scams from happening. Any crypto thing coming as regulated one will face challenges. So better make right choices. I'm just speculating what I feel about this but you can always follow your own path.

Actually there is one upcoming ico that is trying to be an ico platform to fight with ethereum and neo and qtum. And strangely it is also centralised. It is call cosma. It is being built by the japan company and they had been around since 2014. They are building a platform for ico and at the same time a bridge between xem and eth/btc. So far it has two potential japanese company ico.

It caught my attention
I will go deep into it.

Why would you try to find centralized things, while the blockchain world is based on decentralized concepts...

I don't think there is any for now, people are moving away from centralised exchanges which I believe is a good thing but the issue is how do they deal with fiat gateway because this is very important for the long term growth of the space, because if fiat is not entering it will be difficult to sustain the progress made so far
