Regulation of ICO will make scam not so easy as it is now and I think that the quality of ICO projects will improve. Perhaps now it will be more difficult to invest anonymously, but regulation will make market more transparent.
In my opinion only The ICO project owner all data and its original company must be registered and regularize. In this way the investor interest and trust will increase and ICO will get huge investment.
Yeah if they really want to make legal business they must be registered but since this is a decentralized market most of the ICO's are not doing it and some of those are just scams. Regulation on this can have an advantage because many investors will come confidently and invest their money on a project they trust for.
If I think any country that makes ICO there must be a clear regulation of the country it aims to minimize the deceptive ICO, with the possibility that with the regulation ICO will become more premium and we will be more confident to enliven the development of ICO project by investing in inside.
I think ICOs should be more regulated because anyone can start an ICO process and collect millions of dollars then disappear with the money. There are examples of that, so there should be some rules and regulations to start an ICO to avoid scammers.
Ok interesting, I think ICOs should be somehow regulated of course to avoid a lot of loses for people, but they should not be restricted, as it is future of digital world for me.
Even though to avoid lot of loses for people, but for now there so many also ico that bad project, and its hard to choose if this is good or bad so we need to make research to know and to avoid .

Based on my experience ico should be regulated. I found lots of scam project or lots of greedy people coming up with raising funds with unrealistic concept without any concern on proble m solving for the issue. Ico are becoming greedy tool . I think regulating ico will attract more investors confidence.
As an ordinary investor, of course ico is regulated!

That is the main intention anyway asides from the fact that the government is going to be benefiting a lot from it as well, but it is high time we got to know where we are headed and regulation will definitely help with that. At least one thing with regulation is that it is going to reduce all these FUDs, people will start getting to invest in what they really believe will fly in the long run and not get scared of a project turning into scam and that is a good way to start. This can avoid some fraudulent ico projects!

Firstly, we cannot even escape regulation anyway, and I always feel that regulation will actually usher in more big investors and at the end we may start seeing ICO not playing out for the smaller investors in the long run. ICO must be regulated for sure. I can't see any reason why it should not be regulated. This is very serious things, billions of dollars have been raised.
I do not even expect the government to keep quiet in an environment where a lot of money is being raised globally and by lot, a whole lot of it and the fact that regulating it will benefit the governments. Additionally, considering the fact that scam has been a norm of the day for ICOs, it is high time they started packing their loads and counting their days.I believe with these developments, things should turn out fine for the ICO space in the long run, which places more advantage to it than disadvantages.

I'm against those kind of regulations. Regulations mean KYC, collecting more and more personal info, restrictions, etc. This is not crypto.
I like the idea of Wild West + using your common sense to catch scams.

but ico there must be a regulation in it. for the prevention of potentially ico on a scam. This is for investors' security. and I agree if there is a law under all ico.
A regulated and healthy environments is definitely good for the ICO in the long term as it will rule out the scammers and cheating projects and let the really valued ones thrive and protect the interests of the investors at large.
Government should use Google to regulate ICO adverts.this will make the cryto community more healthy for every one and newcomers.ICO have scam so much people.if not regulated the cryto community will turn to a den of online criminals.
I think the ICO market should be standardized, because too many fraud projects, these projects are no value, there is a hype, so need regulations to restrict, this is my personal point of view.
