No. Save your money.

With all due respect, I humbly disagree. Let us try not to generalize everything as purely black and white. There are so many great ICOs out there. The problem is that there are also so many scams mixing up with the legit ones. The role of every investor therefore is to take due diligence seriously. Reach out to the devs and pepper them with questions.

Its not that easy OP even reliable project at first sight could scam as well its really a risky move investing in any ICO project but if succeed it can bring huge profits if I were you just keep reading the Ann thread then research for the real identity of its developers so you can see if they are real person to entrust your money.

There a few reliable ICO rating websites; and usually if it's an original product / idea offered by a well established team who has too much reputation to risk by running coin scams, it's worth a serious consideration.

You can check their advisors and find them on social media and ask to them is it real or scam.

Is there a way that we can determine on how to know if an ICO offer is a scam or not?

there is no. but before you join in ico you should research the project. from developer background, escrow and many more. also discuss or ask in their ann thread.

Is there a way that we can determine on how to know if an ICO offer is a scam or not?

It's hard to determine if the ICO is legitimate or scam but there are scam busters here in forum that are able to watch out and bust those scammers. And they are finding it out through the developers, if the same person was found on the new upcoming ICO then there will be a speculation that ICO is just a scam and it depends on what that person did before.

Is there a way that we can determine on how to know if an ICO offer is a scam or not?

AS you can see the above comments that almost everyone knows that no one can tell which ICO is scam or not. Even big and success ICO are going down when get listed and it takes time to increase the price until the projects are not finished and running successfully. ICO investing is not good but if you wait and let the coin get listed and see the performance after that you can try to invest in it and i can confirm that almost 99% of coins price will be down then ICO and so you can buy the good altcoins and play with them.

Just invest carefully. And if something looks to good to be true it usually is.

I think no, I just see if the project makes sense and whether dev is really eager to run the project possible by use a famous escrow, I think before investment you should check the project's clarity and see if the investment is recommended

I am following this principle..
If its too good to be true then better stay away from it.
Also it would be great to first research about the ICO you would want to join.  Especially here in BCT forum a lot of information can be found.  There may also be other person who can prove a specific coin if it is a fraud or not through their own experience on that coin.  Let us always equipt ourselves with knowledge.
