Fair warning: promising your token holders buybacks or dividends practically makes them a security. This could be ok for you but should be taken into consideration.

thanks! but isn't that a strategy most if not all ICOs are adopting? I am under the impression that a distribution strategy would/could potentially be viewed as a security which is why there are slightly more buy-back program.

Please correct me if i am wrong. thanks!

Hi,

Just want to get some general feedback on the pros and cons of either a Buy-back or dividend strategy for ICO.

The split between ICO adopting either strategy seems to be quite evenly distributed through Buy-back might have a slight edge.

Which is your preferred strategy? Personally i think buy-back is a cleaner approach compared to distribution via dividends and i understand there are more restrictions for distribution model.

Views, please.

Thanks!!
