Crypto community needs new good ideas, applications, platforms. I think that ICO will live and develop further. Time will tell!
before give own decision you should research everything. there are hundreds projects in the market now and some of them are really potential. Livestars is an example. Let access its website and buy its tokens. you will earn much money.
If ICO come with a good and more useful project yes it can be survive as well as more success in the market. Today a lot ICOs are scams. Because of these scams investors loosing their money. They dont do proper research about that ICO project and the team members. If we can spend some time to do research about ICOs we can find more good ICOs. In these days i think Daneel is a good project. It is the first AI (Artificial Intelligent) created to help cryptocurrency investors. So there are lot of best ICOs in the market. A lot of successful investors invest in best ICOs in the market. So ICOs will not be a bubble in 2018 or even more years.
If you are development team member or else if you are financial analyzer for the altcoin which is emerging in the name of ICO. So many people use to check multiple times to invest on the crypto market. Especially on ICO, they just gather all the information in their Roadmap and whitepaper releases.

It will burs definitely. It's a shame for Ethereum. ETH doesn't worth $1350 at all. I like Vitalin Buterin because of smartcontract but don't like the way these contracts been handled. ERC20 tokens will ruin ICO unless Exscudo or other professional team step in with audited smartcontracts where investors are all protected. It may be the year of 2018 the end of ERC20 mambo jambo. Sorry for legit start-ups like ArcBlock or SingularityNET.

I think that scam project is a major problem for ICO, some people think to earn a lot of money in an instant and inhuman way. I hope everyone is more selective in this case, so no one else will experience fraud. I'm still looking forward to some good projects this year. I hope to come up with a project that can benefit everyone

I'm pretty sure investors would know the ICOs that they'll be investing on, since they'll be conducting research about the ICO that they'll be investing on. Will be more ICO coming this year and also will many new people jump it because ICO now become trending and promising high return. Many ICO that ended in 2017 succesfully collect money from investor and the price of the token sky rocketing now, so this is positif impact for ICO and cryptocurrency market.
ICOs in 2018 will surely not die in 2018, also on the upcoming years. ICOs will step up in a higher level since every ICO is backed up by a great team.
I highly doubt that ICO will fall guys. Innovation is everywhere so people will start and develop new ICO's eventually.
I think we will see ICO's stay at the same volume, or maybe even increase this year.
As long as altcoins and bitcoin keeps getting media attention and more and more money is pumped into the system ICO's will continue. I do believe they will change though as right now they need to increase the amount of investor confidence.

I think we are already seeing this in that the ICO's are really starting to be tech focused first now (as the industry once was). Last year we were way too heavy in the "sell the sales video" type ICO. I think we are back to the tech focused "we love building on this amazing technology." Or I can hope. Am I going to be the only one hoping that trend continues?

I think the game industry is a very potential category for success in some ICOs, I also have a strong view in this regard, gaming industry has a huge market and has a huge customer target, so I guess that would be good in ICO
