Before going on with what I have to say to what you mentioned about ICO and product, your project actually seems interesting and I may be digging more on that for details and how to participate if I get convinced.
Back to the main topic, the thing with so many investors today is that they always prefer to stick to the surface and leave out those things within that are important. Product is an important thing for a project's growth and without it, unless may be the team decided to work on it later on, which is even a risky move to make for an investor, there will always be a problem at the end.
The best thing is to always see the availability of a product and how relevant it is to the real world as people can easily build any app these days and call it a product, and then it is from there you will be able to judge if this would be worth investing or not.

This is true that most of the ICOs do not have actual products YET, and even though there are some ICOs that has actual product, but usually the product is still in Beta, or only used by private community, not a public use yet. But I do not think that is anything wrong with that, this is our risk as an investor to pick which ICO will actually develop their product well, and which one is not.
ICO is an important support for the continuation of projects. however, it is possible to be cheated and deceived. we see great projects. it will be processed visually systematically. the team should manage this very well and the process steps should be checked. then the ICO and investment can be made.
In today's ICO climate it's hard to trust anyone without an actual product created.
Product is what you are investing in and the team is where you are leaving your funds knowing they are capable of making the product come to live in the long run and you really do not want to find yourself in the wrong side of things at the end. Without a good product and some solid team when it comes to ICO, count me out!

That sounds awesome but this thread is for posting about projects that already having a working product. Great ideas are a dime a dozen in crypto...
It is really a potential project and it is quite special compared to other projects. But I need to find out more about the team and the founder of the project, I need to make sure they are reputable. If they achieve my eligibility, I will definitely spend big on the SSTX project.

Is there a complete list of the team else where on your website other than the photoshoot of the founder in triplicate? Because for me, while you're stressing the need for a working product to validate a project from not being a scam, the project is equally as important and there's not much info about them.
The Speed Shopper Team consists of Mitchell McElroy who is the Founder/CEO and a team of Independent Developers who aren't employees of Speed Shopper. They aren't listed as Team Members because that would be disingenuous. You should ask yourself why a person who has the funds to hire a team trying to fund-raise via Token Crowdsale/ICO. Teams of people don't work for free and many ICO participants are deceived by unscrupulous people who pretend to have a team and actually do not.

I think that it would be better for the bounty hunters and investors to choose for an ICO that has already a product being developed since rest assured it has a potential possibility that it could work out good. Another consideration is also to check and verify the ratings if experts are giving high ratings for the particular ICO which I consider a potential ICO for investment where I believe it will finish the project until the end and bounty hunters will also be rewarded.

well besides product you really need more to make the project successful. team behind the product is as vital as the product itself. then there is timing.. i just watched this movie about General Magic.. most people haven't even heard of it.. i suggest to google it a bit. all about timing and team.. we would have had different world then
Some ICO are born out of mere idea. And fund is now needed to expand it. ICO is a good way to bring an conceived idea to live
one that supports to carry out the idea of a project is ICO and this also becomes a reference for the success of the project to run the next roadmap but we have to be careful in joining it because ICO is still being ridden by some fraudsters and if you want to be safe in joining an ICO looking for a project that has been running for years and the team has the idea to bring it to the crypto world as well as the MOZO project some time ago
I don't think it should be called an ICO if Initially there is no Coin to Offer
initial coin offering doesn't mean that coin must be distribute before projects starts, the risk factor will be minimize by Completing project before ICO. Currently I'm working on a project and firstly I focused on completing the project not on the ICO, Because when the project will become ready I don't need to convence the investors the project It self is enough for that. Investors will be happy to invest in running projects. So kindly Don't say that ICO i meant for start up investment. ICO i meant for initial shares of a company.
For any ICO it adds the value if have the working product. But it needs to already in the market with some strong userbase. Product without userbase really worth? Now, It is really good if ICO makes the working product and test with the market and after that launch the ICO.
