Since it's using a "lever" it should be a provably fair right? In other words, it's like a slot machine but multiple players can play at the same time, a player vs player mode. The problem with that kind of betting is how fair it is. There is no way we can verify if all players on that specific room is a real human and not a robot. The reason also why we only see a few kinds of P2P gambling games.

The idea is good but I will only consider playing on that site if they are already well-established and reputable.


So here's the purpose?

For a new site, I doubt they will give you a credit for that idea. I think your idea is not new. It's just that you used the "road" as an example.

If it is already a competitive game, is it still to be consider as a slot game? This game is programmable because there is a lot of PVP game out there exist which has the similarity of concept like this.

The only problem when this game is used online, It can be cheated by a 3rd party app because the result is based on the skills of the player and not random compared to the typical slot.Just like playing an online PVP chess. Some player use cheat apps so that the bot will play for them in a flawless way.

The closest (and the most doable) thing to what OP described in his post is parimutuel betting which also freebitco.in uses in its casino.

The odds change depending on how much money wagered on each side of the bet and the house still takes its %5 no matter which side wins.

The downside is, these bets are not fast/instant like dice/slot games. You may have to wait for several weeks to see the result of the game/event.

On the other hand you may never get any opponents at all while playing OP's game.

I like the idea.

It will have its disadvantages because for each game to start you'll need a multiplayer of 3. So if 32 players join and start a game every hour there will still be 2 who will have to wait for someone to join their game and be stuck for a long time. It's not a big disadvantage but if you're unlucky you'll be the one stuck waiting.

For this reason matchmaking in multiplayer games may take more than 10 minutes each round even when there's 500 or more people playing at the same time.

Ok, if you create a standalone site like what the original Bustabit started out with, this will work better than incorporating it into a small gambling site with loads of games. I see Stake.com average about 2000 players at any given time, but the problem is some people are playing dice and others are playing slots etc.. etc.. so the amount of players playing a specific game will be reduced significantly. (getting the 3 players to join will be reduced, if you add 100's of games on a site)

I still think 3 player PvP games will be more popular and the house will have several of these games running at the same time, so they will get their fair share of the bets. (The larger the bets, the more they get)     

This game requires 3 players and all 3 players need to wager the same amount If I got this correctly.

That's also why it is not really going to work, I think.

I always liked the PvP style gambling though. It feels more alive than playing against the computer's random algorithm..

It might work on a crowded casino like PrimeDice and it is still a big maybe.

Ok all of us know the classic design of all standard slot games ... right. 



Ok now imagine you have 3 players competing with each other on 1 game. It works like this ....

1. The graphics are replaced by roads with different types and width. Each player decide before the game starts on what type of road it wants to build.

2. You place your equal bet and a percentage of the bet goes to the house. The winner win the other 2 players bet amount that remains.

3. Pull the lever and the slot machine is started. When your choice of road comes on the screen at the left of the screen, the computer lock it in place for that player in the first column. (Just below the slot machine graphics.)

4. The first player to complete his road from the left, all the way to the right wins and a car or bike drive on that road to indicate the win for that player. 

5. The money pot is added to the winners balance and the next round is started with the next 3 players.
