Hello, I have noticed that several people had been scammed by projects that appears in this board. If they had read this board... maybe they didnt get scammed. So I created a Telegram channel and twiiter account for that purpose.
So you by following you on twitter we can predict the end of all scams on bitcointalk? Could you link me to a single scam service that you have busted?

Im just saying that if you look at the amount of views of each scam accusation versus the bounty topic. There are less views in scams accusations section. Maybe the new people doesnt know about this board. And probably that is happening because this board is located in
Those views are not accurate and don't determine anything. New users are lazy enough to not do their research before sending their bitcoins to shady services. They do learn from their mistakes but we get a new wave of newbies falling to the same sam all over again.

maybe if you change this board to the section alternative cryptocurrencies that will be a more powerful tool to stopping scams
Makes sense. That board could have its own scam accusation section.

Even you dont need to move any section, in bounties section. With only one pinned topic that says for example Confirmed Scams would be enough to descourage most of the scammers
But that list at times is highly subjective and it is not a bad option. I remember this list https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/edu-list-of-bitcoin-scam-sites-1978151 was stickied once but don't know why it was removed.

The problem I've seen lately is that negative trust, even if it's given by DT members and thus should stand out in high relief, gets ignored.

DT members, Lauda in the first place, have created this situation by giving false negative trust for their own greedy agenda. In time members have learned that the trust valuation of DT members cannot be trusted.

How you're going to promote it (I'm pretty sure the impact will be insignificant)?

Im just saying that if you look at the amount of views of each scam accusation versus the bounty topic. There are less views in scams accusations section.
You shouldn't compare two different types of topics (a bounty topic will always have a higher view count [due to obvious reasons] + Most users don't read topics on this section, unless something happens).

maybe if you change this board to the section alternative cryptocurrencies that will be a more powerful tool to stopping scams
How about getting rid of the section (alternative) completely (saves 90% of the cases).

With only one pinned topic that says for example Confirmed Scams would be enough to descourage most of the scammers
I doubt it (until a project is listed there, there's still a chance for scammers to continue with such behavior).

Im just saying that if you look at the amount of views of each scam accusation versus the bounty topic.

there are reasons for this. I'll list a few:

1 - Most people do not bother to investigate a project before investing and the result is there are few people who investigate any project and have the courage to post to this section.

2- The bounty section has many attracts attention to many people precisely because of the benefits that people have when participating in bounty campaigns and see that even if some project is confirmed that is scam, people simply ignore because they want to receive their reward and these people will not post in the scam section because they do not want to ruin the scam project even more, because they know they will not receive any reward if if they do this. For many bounty participants, a project is only scam if it does not pay the reward to its participants.

3 - we have another point, The greedy of the investors, people know about this section, but they do not come post in this section in order to contribute to fight the scammers, because these people have already conformed that the world of ICO is anyway, People look at the coinmarketcap more than 1600 altcoin listed and of course more than 40% of such altcoins are projects not have utility and even created by scammers, so these investors will not post in the scam section to accuse some ICO because for them this is something normal, as long as ICO ends and the scammers do not run away with their money, that's fine, Investors just want the project to be listed on some exchange and they have 2x or even 3x or 10X profits. it's like the hyip/ponzi sites, people look at ICO's investments as a game. so they do not have them anymore fear of being stolen or deceived... is something sad but that is what is happening today.

Another reason is they can't spam in this section. Cheesy

Most of the replies in those sections were just to complete the minimum quota for their signature campaign so they just spammmmmm... there.

@OP anyway maintaining those telegram channel is easy, and chance of getting more bounty hunters into you channel is very less.

I don't use Telegram, so I wouldn't be able to evaluate what you wrote even if I knew where to go.

However, you make it sound as though there aren't any controls on bitcointalk and that no one is looking to protect people from getting scammed.  That is far from the case.  Check the Scam Accusation section.  It's full of warnings for potential victims.  The trust system here is also a good indicator of whether somebody is trying to scam them.  The problem I've seen lately is that negative trust, even if it's given by DT members and thus should stand out in high relief, gets ignored.

That indicates to me that the problem is deeper--it's a problem of greed and stupidity, and there's no Telegram channel that's going to fix that.  A lot of the new projects that look like scams are getting busted pretty quickly.  It wouldn't be bad advice to tell people to stay away from them unless they have a proven team that didn't plagiarize their whitepaper.

I give you the reason, Im just saying that if you look at the amount of views of each scam accusation versus the bounty topic. There are less views in scams accusations section. Maybe the new people doesnt know about this board. And probably that is happening because this board is located in
