I would recommend to do it via TeamViewer with a person you know and is willing to help you. Maybe someone from the team if they have the time.

I offered remote support 3 times allready...

Me too, but since I am not part of the team, I understand the guy.

That's why I've said he can ask a team member to help him, of course if he trust the team.

I've tried also via Telegram, step-by-step, with screenshots, but with no success unfortunately.

How can I update to v0.17.1 on my VPS? Same steps as below but with the new version number?
Code:
cd /home && wget https://github.com/idena-network/idena-go/releases/download/v0.17.1/idena-node-linux-0.17.1
chmod +x idena-node-linux-0.17.1
screen ./idena-node-linux-0.17.1

Thanks!

Edit: Yes, replacing the version is the way to go.
Note: You can use the code above to update your node.

It's been fours days that I got a VPS but until now I cannot set up my VPS I followed the instructions and have tried it 40 times already and there are 3 people helping me but no success, it's depressing to working on something that you are not getting a success hope somebody can help me on this, my account was suspended trying to set up my VPS.
My question is, is this set up compatible to windows 7

This project looks very interesting. I have just read up on the thread and I would very much like to be a part of this.

Thanks for the invite.

You are very lucky to know about this unique project. Don't forget to download the wallet and sync it, then ask for invite code in the telegram group idena public and follow weekly validation to get a reward.

Attention!

Validation starts in 2 and a half hours.

1) Get ready,
2) Download the app (client + built-in node),
3) Install and launch it,
4) Get synced,
5) Ask and activate invitation (become a candidate),
6) Stay online, be ready to solve your flips.

To join the next validation required submit 3 flips, but why when I submit the flips, 3 flips entered on publish box and 2 on publish box also entered to the draft, will this be an issues to join the validation tomorrow?

Just make sure that client tells you "Wait for validation" and you can also check on explorer if you have 3 submittetd flips...
It happened to me also, but I never had problems if "Wait for validation" is presented...

Yes. It sometimes happens to me too.

To make sure you can also check explorer:
f.e:
https://scan.idena.io/identity?identity=0x06723da8fc2c01a09f489cf7bf2067227d2deec3#flips

You can see 3 new flips created today.

I like your review. It looks like it is objective because you showed pros and cons of this coins and not just advantages.

No, it was rather a buyer, because he has made a withdrawal of DNA he bought on the exchange. Probably investor (newcomer) who don't want to bother with mining.

I see. With "withdrawal" I thought you mean, from a bigger wallet to exchange, but it seems I misunderstood.

Maybe he is also a miner and he wants as much as he can get until it will take off. Either way is a good thing for DNA.

Someone has made a withdrawal of ~41k DNA recently. So far this is a record.

Maybe someone from the team or a very earlier miner.

Well its easier just to put nodekey on something like gdrive if you use gmail. Then from vps download it and replace existing one.

That's interesting but I don't have knowledge on running IDENA in a vps can you please post instructions here on how you run IDENA in VPS and what is the monthly cost and what is the name of the VPS network that you are using to run IDENA there.

I have moved my VPS guide to the website in order to stay auto-updated with every once and a while node versions...

Why it is that I'm only getting one peer sometimes none at all and sometimes I got up to ten peers other sometimes even though I have a very good internet connection, what must be done to maintain those nodes, I have a bad feeling for things when the validation happens again.

I had the same problems with built-in node. Never got more than 5-6 connections. Then I decided that is better to go on VPS rather than running the node locally. There I have 17-18 connections all the time, and I don't need to keep my PC on 24/7.

If you still want to run the node locally, you should have a look in here: https://idena.io/?view=guide#guide-issues-1
