a little cockroach who sells masks on BTC for $1.50 and has nothing but posts about selling and scamming is not going to tell devs and real users what do to.

you've been outed as the Idena scam crew, its in the screenshot and your posting history of scams and fraud accurately describes you.

I love your post about wanting $2500 up front for a programming job that you can't even describe and need the money up front. You're a true scammer in every sense. It's a little hard to image a $100/ hr programmer is the same scab selling $1.50 masks.

@RaiLai is the forum FRAUD

Why do you have always to go off topic on the idena thread? If you have an issue with me go on PM's. You know nothing kiddo. You know nothing.

Hey @Railai, don't bother with trolls, just ignore them (skip their posts and just reply to those who you think is on-topic and is worth your time).
Don't feed the trolls and ofc don't call them "kiddo" as kiddo stands for a smart kid (as far as I know).

Just sent a neg feedback to both, @smyslov and @bluepowder.
Low life people that fudding this thread for a few days.
To both of you, if the project is too complex and too much driven by the feedbacks of the active users, just get away. You simply can't understand how the project works.
I am very sorry to see a thread that used to be so much about idena itself started to be just a place for spams and fud with non sense.
It's fair to have different opinions. It's totally fair.
My opinion a few weeks ago about selling invites: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53901024
Hello I am M. I have just joined the network; may I have an invite? -silence- why would now anyone send an invite when they get paid anyway? -This got worse than the last replies we had here about people humilating themselves on public channels-.
Quote
But all the users are still not getting out invitations because there is no point of doing it anymore, why would I risk my invite when I am getting paid anyway and i have a 50% chance of getting another 1/3 ?
Quote
If someone was taking invites and messing arround with them, that's it own business and the business of the inviters, you can't stop this by the blockchain code no matter how smart you think you are. Whatever...It's still testnet, but these changes will decrease amazingly the coming of the new users.

Andrew said that he is not going to give any invite from last epoch. If I see any invite coming out from him this epoch it means the project is a scam or they are trying to take as much mining now as possible.
As matter of fact Andrew is still giving invites, but slowly they start not to be noticed. The cap of the invitation of foundation address is 500, right now I think is arround 300. But his invites won't matter if the project will reach 15-20k verified members.
But still, even if Andrew won't send the invites, he will still take coins out of the minted budget, so we, the users are losing again.
About selling, yep. I also suggested in all the channels, let's do a system with collateral, let's do a channel about selling. There is no wish for it, but some long term members are selling but officially deny or maybe even ban you from telegram. That's ain't so cool tho but I get their point.
We are an open community that tries to understand how to do things for a better use. The flip issue, most of users just join without doing any research. We got to the moment to have the short session fucked by those who don't care about the need of common sense for the validation requirments. But somehow thats also not so bad, we're looking in solution of how to make the newbies be more responsible about the flips, also the flip school where 5% of invites are sent.
To another point, 450 invites sent last epoch. Less than half passed the validation. This means more than pottentially 30-40k dna lost by the good faith members that gave their invitations. Buying/selling with what looks to be right now sounds quite good.
YES it is free to generate it. But it can cost you from the part of your participation on the network.
The update that came 3-4 epochs ago was also good, there were so many people that were taking invites and they were messing with them, not using them. Now people are more selective. Those who want to pay, and it ain't so much 50 bucks as matter of fact. You get that back during the first epoch.. People that are paying really want to do it, and they don't want to lose their money. Also the active people that really care they will obtain an invite. Invites are posted from time to time in discord/telegram, just random on the general channel.

To come back to the idiots @smyslov and @bluepowder. Stay away of this project if you don't understand they way it is. This project learns epoch by epoch and tries to become better. There is no perfect system, but idena for now proved that so many more can be done.

Looks like the team failed to announce the 0.19.0 update on Discord, or here like it was stated on Medium.
I thought the 0.18.3 is the last update as I've read the Discord announcement & update threads and I saw nothing about 0.19.0, I only discovered that I need to update my node from the wallet, which I started by mistake earlier. Lost like 4h of mining.
Unprofessional.

Please follow the announcement telegram, it will ping you.

Hard fork is comming today from 12:30 to 13:30 UTC. Be ready to update because without it you will be mining worthless coins on old chain. Qtrade deposits are locked in preparation for hard fork.

Dear Idena community,

We plan to release a new version of the Idena node today March 25, 2020 from 12:30 to 13:30 UTC.

It will be a hard fork. The miner status for all validated nodes will be deactivated in the new version. Please be ready for the update.

Planned changes:
1. Extra invitation will become available for Humans starting from the next epoch, see details:
https://medium.com/idena/more-invitations-for-identities-with-the-human-status-49edf79598fe
2. Flip distribution improvement to enable the bigger committees for flips qualification: this will increase the probability of bad flips (with no consensus) disqualification
3. In order to reduce mining rewards fluctuations block reward distribution will be changed as following (6 DNA):
- 1 DNA will be paid to block proposer
- 5 DNA will be paid to committee members confirming the block
4. Push and pull protocol will be used for the transactions broadcasting
5. Bug fixes

An additional announcement will be published before the update.

so is it mineable or do you have to jump through some promotional hoops and kiss some ass to get invited. can someone send me a code??

Better join Discord, you'll have more chances to get an invite code there.

I'd like to make sure that my nodes are sync before the validation do we have a tutorial links on how to use VPN I just got a vultr.com account and would like to set up a VPS for remote NODES.

Hi, why do you want to use VPN? Did you meant VPS?

If so, here is my guide on how to install Idena on VPS and how to connect your wallet to it:

This community of scammers, as you call it, grows with each validation a lot.

Why do you think RaiLai is so stressed out that people posted his private messages and exposed him, and within 1 day of doing so a new user pops up with 1 day account who is doing the same thing.

The screenshots speak for themselves but you guys would rather say its the poster bringing the message that's bad. That's the true definition of a scammer.

Everyone here who posted even a simple question has been solicited by someone from the scam crew, they will tell you its a popular crypto and in great demand, while the other is selling a code for the privilige of mining of it. If they don't get you there the next one is to ask you to join a telegram page, where again users are blocked and moderated out who question what they're doing and the telegram is for promotion and to pretend there is a functioning community of interested people, there isn't its 2-3 losers or 1 scammer posing as such and they admit this.

Thanks for your reccommend wingfield .. its like taking advice from a baby in diapers.

Then, I recommend you not to invest in this project, if you consider SCAM. The market is full of projects, so there is a great diversity from which you can choose a project to invest in and to participate actively. Every crypto lover is free to choose what he wants. I chose IDENA, you can choose any other project.

This is a SCAM project and there is no doubt in that.  Not all scams involve the owner running off with ICO money or something comparable . This one is a mining scam and promotion scam. There facts are there you just ignore it and I don't blame you because the post is moderated and has hundreds of post missing, its hard to get the new people to see it but if you read the posts as I did you will see its your textbook scam with deleted posts and gatekeepers who are following every thread and complaning and diluting with nonsense.

Just look at the reply to me, one person said it wasn't a scam because I'm a new user.. How does logic explain that ?

It's hard to find more of scam than Idena, you have your gatekeepers, distractors and detractors but I urge you to question any of these clowns and see what's behind them. Nothing but a low IQ idiot who' selling codes, pretending there is a demand and that the coin has some usefulness. It doesn't, its a fake deadbeat job where even the OP can't describe himself as anything other than an anoymous scammer.

This community of scammers, as you call it, grows with each validation a lot. The project is a very interesting one and has some unique features on the crypto market. This is not a SCAM project, just a good project. Of all the SCAM projects that are on the market, you have chosen to criticize a real project, a good project, for the future. You have no arguments when criticizing the project, so clearly try to do FUD.

you have to be a crook or a complete tool to believe that.

Even if that was the case, it is not the wish of the creator and a stark contrast to what it says on the first page, where it says ask here and there is a plan to discourage selling invites.  This is just another scam from the trash that scour these forums, no matter how you try to excuse it. You guys keeping moving the line when it comes to the coins but at the end of it there is always a scammer or a scam crew in the case of idena . look at the screenshots and read the comments, you post here and you will get a message from Railai the main seller within minutes. You call that a community ? Its a community of third world scammers wheter you like it or not.

Starting from the subject of selling invite codes, which is not the purpose of this project, but understanding the frustration of the invite issuers that they lost money giving invites to others and the invited people failed to get validated/Verified, I came up with another approach. (before throwing stones, let's see if this works, and maybe other old members can do the same.)

I will give an invite to someone who needs it (since I want the network to grow, as it is supposed to be) with a collateral of 500 DNA.

Why?
• because we already wasted a lot of money an time with people not committed to get at least validated once, not talking about getting Verified.
The reasons were various: they forgot about the validation, they were sleeping, their flips didn't loaded, internet issues, electricity issues, etc, etc...

What this collateral means?
• you will get back the collateral if you succeed to get Verified status.
• you will loose the collateral if you fail to get Verified, whatever the reason you have.

Why should you trust me/others with your money?
• you shouldn't, but then... why should I/they trust you that you'll do the job and you won't waste us the invite/money?

Note:
1) I provide support for installing the wallet, set up the VPS server, understand flips.
2) I don't sell invitation codes. I just make sure you won't waste my money and time.

I think it would be a good measure to eliminate those people who want invitations to join the IDENA community, but who just waste the time and invitations of those people who want to help the project and the network to grow. But most likely, those people who want an invitation do not have DNA coins in their wallets to honor the guarantee you want.
But I agree that there must be a guarantee of any kind. Maybe the equivalent of 500DNA in bitcoin.

As far as I can see, your post wasn't moderated (deleted). So your statement is pure FUD.
Anyway if you think this is a scam coin, why don't you leave and find another project, there are thousands out there.
Thanks for the heads up, we will take the risk.
Because he is paid troll to spread FUD.

This is without a doubt a SCAM coin.
You already proved that you don't know what "scam" word means. Your accusation is worthless than.

should have known by the self moderated sketchy anonymous OP and the disgraceful posters here that call themselves a community. The reason you don't know the extent of the scam is same as all other cions like it, because the creeps are moderating it out.
This is not self-moderated topic. Those have annotation on top. So either you are intentionally lying or you know nothing about Bitointalk and your opinion is worthless .. again.
