now the IEO is more popular than ICO because the IEO has a few advantages compared to ICO, but make no mistake even though the IEO is superior to the ICO the risk received will be the same, the initial purchase price may go down and can be loss
IEO is the new ICO and there is nothing wrong if people want to take the risk just to make some good money in return. I guess it is more secure now that exchanges step in to initiate IEO into their platform. Whether we like it or not, investors, traders, and people are accepting the way the new ICO is taking place even if it is still classified as gambling because of taking risks. It is where the money is according to investors and those involved in it.
I don't will participate without check project development and project power himself. In my opinion IEO just a promoter ways, here you can promote your new coin in any exchanger. Which exchanger already accepted IEO system. So how we can depend just show IEO is the good project? without any popular exchange?
the logic we have to use is, where good projects will be listed in good exchanges too. because they must have a good team because they think of a market that fits their project. like binance, they don't accept all projects to make IEO sales in exchange for them. there is a classification for those who can escape.
For now I haven't participated in any IEO. Reason being the absence of any loose funds. But in the future I can consider investing in some few projects hosting IEO's. But before I invest I will do my homework on that project and the exchange hosting the IEO. I don't want to be a victim of dump situation.
Like every other thing, there will always be the good ones and the bad. In my opinion, IEOs have started well with projects like ECOMI and I really hope they keep the energy going for a while with vetting viable projects and not the regular trash we saw spurned out by ICOs.

right some IEO programs make altcoin pump prices and dump prices instantaneous but not all altcoins are bad there are some altcoins that have good goals and make the altcoin prices improve like the altcoin matic now matic prices have been very high after prices dropped a few weeks ago. so I think not all altcoins from the IEO program are bad and I will participate in the IEO program because it is safer than the ICO program

I didn't understand very well what you mean. You mean it's worthful for fast returns, but not so sure about the profit on long run? Then you may be right. Ieo doesn't change the fact that the investment is still risky and there aren't any guarantee the currency will have value in the future.

Now almost all projects are moving from ICO to IEO and there are many weak projects among them, whose coins most likely will not bring profit, but everything depends on the specific project and you need to study the project, it’s not enough to choose a project just because it launches IEO.

I have already participated in two IEOs but to my disappointment. I couldn't buy the coin and the exchange net I've tokens dumped on me, making me loose well over 200 usd. Harmony IEO on Binance looks appealing but it's another risk I will avoid.

I only followed the IEO who held the bounty, with that I was able to get a prize from participation as a bounty hunter even though I didn't know the IEO would succeed or not.
In fact, everything in the world related to money is gambling. The IEO is a good way to fight scammers, build investor confidence in the crypto market. Before a token is sold, the project has been appraised by the exchanges so this thing helps us secure more mind when investing.
I just love you for your first statement here.. We are all in gambling business, correct. IEO is a way to fight scammers, yes also but don't you think scammers will also get their way through IROs. For me, all is just gambling, you win or lose.
I believe we cannot combine everything into "IEO" term. There are good projects, of course and good projects are attractive as we both evaluate the project on our own and the same does the exchange IEO is conducted on. Ieo's are popular because everyone is talking about it . they think ieo is the answer for the failed ico's but to be honest ico's are the real popular because ico's are more older than ieo's . to the question if i will particpate on ieo's ? Yes why not . just like everyone else im starting to like this ieo's because i think that my money is more secure with it .
