Lets assume Guggenheim's Minerd speculation on bitcoin having an ultimate bottom of $8k if it hits $30k referencing the "[U.S. Federal Reserve] being restrictive.”, Currently bitcoin price is below $28k and from the look of things this speculation might and might not be accurate but what if bitcoin price falls to this very dip.

I am asking what will you sell to buy more bitcoin if this speculation ever happens or will you choose to  sell off all your bitcoin due to FUD.

I will buy more bitcoin if it continue to drop. I prefer to hold during this time and no shoping policy for my self to avoid any unneeded things and save for bitcoin investment.

My worst prediction for bitcoin is at $7,000. I am planning to start buying by tranche from $14,000 downwards. I am not selling most my current holdings. So personally I do not want bitcoin to drop that low but if it happens then we will also have the chance to buy more including altcoins. I am considering eth, bnb and then some other few coins that has very high potentials. Sys for example always made it x50 every time the market is bullish period.
Why worst? Just because it was lower than 8k? But anyone can predict no matter how high or low it is however that's going to be a long wait for you before you buy can btc if that was only your buying point. You plan to buy when btc drops but at the same time you don't want btc to drop? That's confusing but you only need to pick one because whether you like it or not, btc can still drop or rise and also if you don't want to sell your coins, how can you invest at the dip?

But, unless maybe if you have other sources to get money. This is my first time hearing that Sys coin but that is impressive if after every bull run this coin can give you a guaranteed 50x. Eth and bnb are I think still better than sys coin though.

That's almost close to impossible, but who knows. We didn't even expect Bitcoin to drop as low as $3k in 2018 bearish season after it hits almost $20k in 2017. I'm not saying that history or trends might repeat, but the possibility is always there.
Also, it's a no brainer to sell during the dip in a fear of lossing their investments.

I think, the best decision if the bitcoin price dropped down to $8,000 or $10,000 is to sell some items to raise money to buy huge amount of bitcoin for future profit making.

Ahhhmm, that's basically what the OP was saying and ask what types of assets are you willing to sell to buy more Bitcoin.
If you're in cryptospace for quite a long time you knew, Bitcoin would give you good profit once you get a good entry price.

There's no reason to sell. Sell only when the price is at its peaks, but in times of dips, its always better to buy more than to sell. And given the best opportunity in bitcoin, then let's fill in our portfolio with buying more bitcoin since its always the best asset in crypto that will give you the highest profits after years of hodling. No reason to sell but there are a lot more reasons to keep on buying when bitcoin price dips.
Indeed, if you look at the current conditions it is not the right decision to sell it,
selling in the midst of conditions like this we will experience losses for sure so as much as possible to remain patient and wait for the right time,
it's important to take advantage of the current situation by buying some potential coins

Why sell based on speculation and FUD? Just hold. If the price drops to 8,000 USD, then keep holding. Don't sell anything. As long as you don't sell, you don't lose anything right? When the price falls down to $8,000 USD, just buy more. As much as you can afford to lose. In the long run, you will make some good nice profit.

Probably my altcoins to buy more bitcoins.

So it tends to dip only according to this theory? The volatility factor is well known by those who have stayed in the market from few years and have seen the 2017 crash when it fell to $3k from ATH so those who wants to hold long term didn't care these dips and have your returns in future but with patience only.

Selling property to buy bitcoin is indeed very risky and should really be considered. But if you have multiple properties and don't have any spare cash, you may want to sell just one property.
I won't sell any property to buy Bitcoin, investing in Bitcoin has a higher risk than investing in property. I only use extra money to buy Bitcoin, the money that I can afford to lose. Sure, I ever heard that someone sells his home to buy Bitcoin, or sells his car to buy Bitcoin. But for me, it mustn't do because we invest in Bitcoin for some years and it has no guarantee to take profits. While home, car, or property is more important than having a Bitcoin investment. In my opinion, having Bitcoin investment isn't the priority, but just an additional investment.

If you sell off your bitcoin at a low price of $8k, then you will only end up in a huge loss. Rather than selling, would this be a big opportunity to accumulating more bitcoin and hold them for future profits. This crypto market won't give us quick profits, so we should never do things that will make us regrets in the future. Buy the dip and hold, that would be the best move if ever.
That could be useless if you sold at that price especially if you bought BTC at the peak price, the only choice that you have is to buy more so you can lower your cost and by this you can increase your holdings. Though we are talking on a worst market here because for me, if Bitcoin goes down to that level again the world by that time is crashing and inflation are getting more serious. Bitcoin is our only hope that can give freedom, whales should not let this to happen since they are also affected by this and many small investors will suffer big time if BTC goes on a price of $8k again, this should not happen at all cost.

I've read some thread before which he sold his own house although it's not bearish time when that happened but who would want to sell something like personal property/asset in this bearish time? Plus even if they sell something today for example if the price is $8k the next bull run would happen in a year or more after that. Does someone really want to risk that much just for the profit?

That's why having a spare money to invest is recommended because you never know when will you needed that money in case of emergency.
Selling property to buy bitcoin is indeed very risky and should really be considered. But if you have multiple properties and don't have any spare cash, you may want to sell just one property.

and this is where the importance of having spare money and managing it well. So that the spare money will remain safe for emergencies only.
We also really have to be disciplined with the strategies that have been made. Doing research and predictions is also important before buying bitcoin when it is bearish.

You know, my first instinct when I saw the title of this thread was me smiling because I know, I'm definitely buying more bitcoins and be ready to hodl for as long as I can. It would be the market giving late adopters like myself a second chance at gaining on the market and I would be a fool as much as many orders that won't be buying or would go about selling. Luckily for me, I'm not that type that is easily socked into the FUD that goes around and I'm sure I would be buying.

The difference here is, I won't be selling anything in order to buy bitcoin. No, that's not my style nor the way I would want to go about it. Maybe I'll increase my allocations for buying more bitcoins and be more regular about it but, I definitely won't be selling no property or asset to acquire bitcoin. No, that doesn't go down well with me.

I may sell every altcoin that I have. It's an opportunity being given to ride the big boat once again and it's not every day that will happen, perhaps forever it will not happen anymore.
Many followers of the Bitcoin market have regretted selling their Bitcoin a long time ago because of the profit it brought after a pump. Now, it's filled with regret and I won't be a hypocrite saying I was not part of that because I am. I sold my Bitcoins before that were accumulated from faucets because I need the money. I don't regret it much because I can see my kids healthy and happy. Yes, used it for their milk and diapers.  Grin
True, but if Bitcoin drops down to 8k then I assume almost all the meme coins will die and even the big altcoins like ETH, BNB, etc will be crushed badly because it's a global rule; when Bitcoin drops every coin and token will drop as well no matter what the market cap is and what use cases it provides.

And it takes courage to sell known and top altcoins for low prices during those times just to buy Bitcoin. It sounds easy the brain stops working during bear runs for most people Grin.

By the way, you reminded me of faucets and man can you believe that the first-ever Bitcoin faucet used to pay out 5 Bitcoins every claim. Imagine making 10 claims those days and never having to worry about money in your life Kiss.

Now What do you think after seeing of the current market conditions?  Will it ever happen that Bitcoin will go to 8000? No, I don't think that will be ever happening. And if it ever happened, I would borrow money from others and buy as much bitcoin as I could.  Because there is no fear of holding bitcoin.

your opinion is very exaggerated friends bitcoin is now popular in the world and is very unlikely to go down with a far price, but maybe it could happen only in a dream, you

In my opinion, the price will not fall to this level. Overall, though, such a drop would be pretty interesting, and I would definitely buy at that price.
Yes, most likely that it won't.
But there's always that topic assuming "if" it happens and you'll always get to see that not just only for bitcoin but also for the altcoins. Well, if that happens, I'll probably sell one depreciating asset of mine since I've played it already and I've got it through my crypto profits before.
Only if that happens but probably won't yet still I'll do something if the price goes that low and it's buying opportunity.

We are still in bearish market, it will be favourable to hold for the price to hit back to $50,000 before you can sell to make a good income. It will be difficult for the price to decrease to $8,000 at this moment, because we are about to enter bullish market where people will be rushing to sell their bitcoin to make a passive income.

I am asking what will you sell to buy more bitcoin if this speculation ever happens or will you choose to  sell off all your bitcoin due to FUD.
I don't think i am going to sell part of my coins if ever bitcoin drops into $8k because we all know that when bitcoin price is dropping, majority of the coins are dropping too so its gonna be selling at a loss if i consider that. Instead, i will continue hodling all my coins and just spend some of my extra funds to buy more cheap bitcoin. That way, i know i will be hodling them all for profits, not for losses instead.

I will also do the same thing if it is true that the price of Bitcoin falls to the price of $8k, the best step is to hold the coins that we have.
Because it's a bad decision in my opinion if we sell the coins we have when the price is low, because our initial goal of investing in crypto is
to make a profit, not to suffer a loss. Moreover, we have invested in coins which are indeed good based on the results of the research and
analysis we have done. So we have to believe in the future of these coins and hold until the price goes up again.
Sell on loss is a dumb decision to be made by someone and if the price drops on that low then it would be better to hold your position.I know it wont be easy on accumulating
even more on times or conditions like this where doubts and anxiety would surely mix up on where you do raise up questions into your mind on what the fuck is happening on the market.
You would really be minding or asking questions again if there are some other new coins which is more better than bitcoin itself or this is just an another
typical crash that do happen in the market.
