I will continue to gamble but I will reduce my bet amounts. For example, at todays rate I can afford to play with 100k satoshi/day but if someday bitcoin price reached $100,000 I will play with 10 satoshi to 100 satoshi per day.

I think you can not avoid that thing to gamble if the price goes in that price if you are already gambler you can not still stop to gamble.. unless if he has a plan about his money and bitcoin.. if he is really target a real business.. but for those gamblers if the price hit 100k value they can be still gamble in my opinion..

Why not, it makes everything more thrilling, especially winning. It's the feeling what I'm after. The enjoyment or the sorrow. Either way, I'm making sure I'm betting the smart way and not get greedy. Cheesy

When that time comes that the price of bitcoins will be $100,000 will you still gamble in casinos and sports books?
I will definitely continue to gamble my coins even if the price goes up to $100k because for me I still see 1btc as 1btc and not the fiat value.

Also maybe bitcoin casinos would be hesitant even to give a few satoshis as for their faucet.
Casino owners don't have to worry about giving away faucet money if they set up high withdrawal amount. They should adjust the amount while the price increases.

If that time happens on which bitcoins price would increase on insane value then sports book or gambling sites would surely decrease or adjust their minimum amount of bitcoins per bet since not all people would definitely like to bet $100 on a single bet since its already high enough to consider maybe it would change in 0.00005 to 0.0001 bitcoin would equivalent on current minimum bet on sports book.

It doesn't matter, either price go to the moon or dive down, gambling is still gambling. Personally I would still gamble if I have time to gamble.

The same thing as what I'm thinking whatever will be the price of bitcoin still I will continue my gambling activity. And that is going to give me a lot of chances to winning because I can gamble for fewer amount of satoshi's. Also it will make me more sensitive with the amount that I will gamble because each cent(sats) is important if that happens.

When it comes to the bitcoin that I will use, just think about how the accounts here in the forum was sold as an example. When the price of bitcoin is low, they are selling it high ( in bitcoin price ) and when the price is at where we are right now, just look at their price, it is very low (again in bitcoin price ) Same as in gambling, if the price of bitcoin is high then your bets in gambling in small amount, and when its low, you bet with bigger amount, as I've said in bitcoin. Always compute your bets in bitcoins value in dollar, that way you won't be funding your bankroll too much.

I don't know, maybe but not all the time. Give me good reasons why should I gamble?
I can still gamble but needs to consider also the limitations and self-control. What ever be the price of bitcoin, gambling will exist, it is part of bitcoin industry. We have the right and freedom to use it in the way we want.

When that time comes that the price of bitcoins will be $100,000 will you still gamble in casinos and sports books?

If the price of bitcoin is $100,000

0.001BTC/1mBTC/100,000Satoshi = $100
0.0001BTC/0.1mBTC/10,000Satoshi = $10
0.00001BTC/0.01mBTC/1,000Satoshi = $1

1 Satoshi = $0.001

Gambling is between a hobby and an addiction so how can we stop it gambling will continue to exist big or small I'd gamble
No need to think further, this time gamblers will be punished in my country but they still gamble

I don't see any problem with bitcoin price and its relation to gambling or using bitcoin to pay for services. If you use bitcoin for gambling now then why you suddenly stop when it will reach higher price?
The only thing that will change is that instead of having bankroll of 0.1 BTC you will lower it to 0.01 BTC or less so it still be the same $XXX amount of money that you always use.

Why NOT? Its gambling and people will gamble with any amount they feel like whether it is $1 dollar on $100,000 it will still be the same and based on the assumption that if I should win, my money will be multiplied and I will become richer it as simple as that. Anyone who can gamble with $100 dollar today can definitely do it with larger amount if he has the means.

This thread does not make any sense. People gamble with Bitcoin not because of its price. They use it because they can hide their identity and they can join the casinos anonymously without providing any private information. Even if Bitcoin price drop down to 1$, there will be always people gambling with it. I have gambled since I 2014 with Bitcoin and I find the its price is not an important issue.

Some people do gamble because of this exact reason (price and value of bitcoin). The very nature of bitcoin is that divisibility of bitcoin was a major factor in deciding to gamble with bitcoins. Because people could just gamble a very very small amount of money compared to really going into real casinos and other fiat currency casinos.

I'm not really a gambling supporter , In fact I'm totally against gambling but If that scenario ever happens , I don't think anyone would keep gambling , at least not in a website ... people may find it hard to trust a gambling website for such a big amounts and the higher bitcoin goes , the higher chances of "we got hacked" scenarios coming out . (Include both exchanges and gambling services).

I agree with this. The price of bitcoins would really turn those gambling sites to scam sites for sure if it does happen. Also, at those prices, a minimum bet of 1 satoshi would be big. The price increase is not just about the value being the same. There are quite a lot of other effects that would happen if the prices increase to this much.

As long as bitcoin does have value for sure many of us are going to keep on gambling with bitcoin because of its anonymity.

I will just stop gambling with bitcoins if that doesn't have value anymore, of course that is worthless so why still gamble and use it?

Yes it seems, i mean, even if the value goes to $1,000,000 or $10,000,000

When you bet $10, you are still betting $10, just the different amount of satoshi you are betting but the initial value it's still the same xd

But if it can reach $100,000, to be honest, a 0.1% point change is huge, meaning that the moment your initial $10, could be up or down depends

There is no point for anyone to stop gambling when price will be even as high as $1 million per coin. When price per coin will pump hard most of the bitcoin casino will lower their minimum bet size and maximum too. If price will be $100,000 as you have said, there will be no any single bitcoin casino which will have 0.001BTC minimum bet size.

Since a majority of gamblers in the bitcoin community uses just really small amounts like 1 to 100 Satoshi then they would be practically gambling about $0.001 to $0.1 per bet if the prices are $100,000. If it's a million dollars each bitcoin, then the price of 100 satoshis would be $1.

So assuming that each bet would be 100 times bigger than today. Also maybe bitcoin casinos would be hesitant even to give a few satoshis as for their faucet.
