It is not all up, I don't know where you found that but in reality when bitcoin is up, bitcoin is up, alts still
can go down (it can go up too) so there is no correlation directly at face value. However if there is ton of money on bitcoin, eventually people will think bitcoin went up as much as it can and will try to invest on alts that went down and hope that they can make some profits from that next, you can make MAXIMUM x2 from btc at this point on short term, yet you can get x10 from some alts going really high.

This is happening because bitcoin is the major cryptocurrency. Bitcoin did not need other coins to developed but altcoins cannot survive without bitcoin.  That is why I think when you have a long term view it is better you buy bitcoin and hold instead of buy any of the altcoins.  Yesterday bitcoin were making positive upwards movement why almost all the coins were getting dump.

I think there is a solid reason. So far so many altcoins are made with bitcoin. So when bitcoin price goes up, the cost or charge foro those coins also rise. As a result, it afftects on the price of that altcoins. So accordingly, price of other coins also go up.
Although I am not agree with statement that other cryptos currencies have enter link with bitcoin, and if bitcoin price will increase their price will also increase. I think that there are some potentially good altcoins which do not have any link with bitcoin and I think that bitcoin price may not have any impact on its price.

It is like an interlinked chain, so the fall as well growth of bitcoin makes an impact over the entire list of altcoins other than few exceptions. This is made from its development in such a manner which makes the system function without flaws even though it is open sourced.

Because all those coins are following exactly the same pattern, and there is nothing weird with that, it has been like this since the beggining when the altcoins started to appear in the market. There is nothinhg to be worried about, the same happens when the coins go down

This happens because as soon as the price of bitcoin begins to go up all investors and traders take this as a signal that the whole market is going to grow and this happens so often that people do not question it anymore, and when bitcoin has more than 43% dominance of all the market then this makes even more understandable that any movement in the price of bitcoin moves alts in the same direction.

I think it's also because bitcoin is the one that holds the market and is also very influential on anything in the market if the bitcoin down another coin I see also goes down, although there are also some up.

Yes it is actually what is happening every year ends, most of the price of cryptocurrency are always pumping in the market every time bitcoins price is starting to grow up just like what happened last year.

Bitcoin's acceleration has big influence over the coin market. But because Bitcoin price is already high, it may move a little slowlier than Altcoin. It's the reason why investors often buy Altcoin to make more profit.

Altcoin price is highly vulnerable to Bitcoin price because Bitcoin is really that influential. Bitcoin going up will enforce investors' belief in cryptocurrencies. Then they will buy Altcoin as well.

The market is somewhat tied to bitcoin and thus,if bitcoin rises in price, all other crypto-currencies also see gains, usually more by percentage.Same is true if the price of bitcoin falls.
This is usually I think of when bitcoin rise altcoins somehow increasing its price. When price drops of bitcoin altcoins falls also. However, bitcoin is the main uses by many to cashout into fait so crypto has the rise and fall indeed in the market.

Yeah, at the moment, bitcoin seems to be the barometer of the crypto market in general. People become quite a bit more confident when they see btc moving positively.

Bitcoins price is actually affecting other cryptocurrency because ethereum is tether to bitcoins and most of the icos that are starting today has a based priced of their tokens on ethereum.

What happen to btc will also happen to altcoin simply because btc is the father of all crypto and obviously the most influential. It's like, btc is the main foundation so they are just following the movement. Altcoin users have the same thought with bitcoiners whenever there is rise or fall.

yes you are right because bitcoin is the center of the exchange price condition, when bitcoin prices go up then altcoin is sure to make a price increase so all coins will surely rise as well.
I have actually studied that for some time and there is indeed a correlation between them, As the pioneer cryptocurrency,i believe that when something either positive or negative affects Bitcoins, It goes on to affect the other cryptos as well.

BitcoinSN - The Real Bitcoin!!!
Bitcoin is known as the major coin which affects the price of other altcoins as it is the first cryptocurrency which was released in the crypto industry and it is similar to that of Index working in the Stock market where majority or stocks follow the Index trend and direction and similarly you can consider the bitocin as crypto index because it affect the prices of major altcoins like litecoin, Ethereum and Neocoin whether it is ptrend or downtrend, the bitcoin's price pattern is followed by other crypto coins.

Actually. I watched the price of the recent market, and I realized that, as Bitcoin prices fell, the price of the market also decreased with the price of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin increases then the price of altcoin will also increase. It can be seen that Bitcoin is controlling the price of altcoin

When Bitcoin price ups maximum coin price up because price of altcoins depends on Bitcoin price. If altcoin price with satoshi remain same but BTC price ups, automatically $value of altcoin ups.
