The only possible thing long term is gold. Saving FIAT long term is a waste of time
and will actually decrease in value due to inflation.
I doubt that, indeed, the price of gold has increased compared to 10 to 20 years ago, but even then because of inflation. and gold is usually more exposed to costs added by sellers than other investments so the value of gold itself is not exactly what it is. then the storage problem must also be a concern, there are costs that must be incurred for this storage matter, whether the storage is handled by us or someone else.

If BTC is not the best way to save money, What you think is the best ?

If you want to save your money put it on a bank or on your wallet.
by only saving your money in the bank, the money will only lose value gradually due to inflation and bank fees.
I would rather suggest that you invest your money in the real estate sector and bank deposits if you want to invest safely but surely.

you're right about inflation's effect on savings and agree about gold and silver. add platinum to your list as it holds equal to or a little more value than gold.

Platinum too, not sure if its industrial use is as extensive as gold's, and it certainly doesn't have the history, but it seems to also be a good option to add to your investment. Silver may actually be a great thing to get into more than people realize... seems like I've heard a couple top guys mention to get into silver in the past. One of the other great things about metals is, if you looking at something like gold, and can't afford a full 1oz coin/round/bar, as often as you'd like to purchase, they come in even smaller sizes, like 1/2 oz, 1/4 oz, 1/10 oz, or even 1/20 oz (which is probably also good if you're thinking of when the crap hits the fan type scenarios, good to have smaller sizes to barter with). Some bullion places even sell copper if you want to get a little stash of that set-aside, not incredibly valuable in small amounts, but there's a reason they stopped making copper pennies, lol. Speaking of platinum, palladium is also available in some bullion places, and fetches a high price, but not as much as gold or platinum.

As to inflation, here's a short clip from Josh Tolley on the 1%, and how the rich get richer and the poor get poorer - there's also some great other videos from him in the playlist as well on business, etc: https://youtu.be/yzebZ1QFJ24

Thanks for the Platinum suggestion,
Have a great day,

Very enjoyable texts mister DigitalCyberius. Thank you.

Why is the reason they stopped making copper pennies?  I just can think about this, pennies are easy to handle with, not good for fiat economy.

There is still much we can use for our lives in the future, such as buying property, land, or maybe stocks, gold and others. And it is very good to guarantee the future of our children in the future.
sometimes investments such as land, property and others will be good things for investment. but, for the better, choose gold, or silver. the price of gold and silver always increases. if you don't want to be like that, it might be better if you make a product, or build a business.

bitcoin is not suitable for saving money, but is more suitable for investment.
the best way to save money for children is to teach them to save. like saving at a bank. it will keep children thinking if they have to save for the future.

BBOD The Best Derivatives Exchange

This post is based on the replies to my other post Its Bitcoin a good way to save money for our kids?

Lots of people say BTC is not a good way to save money, so what is for you a better option??

I want to know the best ways you see to save money for kids and WHY. Please don't add fiat...

If Bitcoin is not the best way to save money, there is no better way. You can see if you send savings to a bank, you need to send it on a fixed plan and only get a profit when the plan ends. But with bitcoin, you get a profit as it grows and you can withdraw it whenever you want.

Well, many predicts and presume that 5-10 years from now bitcoin value will be a hundredfolds bigger than it is today, if we base our decision on our emotions and in this prediction, only two possibilities can happen, either we end up one of the wealthiest person in the world or our children will lost their chances of finishing their studies and getting a degree. No guarantee at all. Me personally, I will still stick to the traditional educational plan (insurance) for my children. My money may not multiply as big as it could in bitcoin but at least it will be more surer than the first option.

Bitcoin is one of the best way to invest for the future and not to save money,
If you want to just save money you should start buying your needs and stop having what you want.
Keep you money on safe like banks or vault.
Bitcoin is not the way to save, you are investing in bitcoin.

I think this kind of market is such a huge risk to save money from. This also takes skills, chart reading etc to earn. This is for profit seekers and not mainly for saving money.

For kids, you can easily invest in bitcoin since it has some good prospects in the near future.  I believe you can invest in the world of crypto on a long term basis for your kids. The market is even down at the moment so you can buy high amount of bitcoin with the few money that you invest in at the moment.
