Yes, Patience is a must in the cryptoworld.
Without it you are much more likely to lose money.
What i would do with 10btc is putting it in an altcoin.

Why you will still allot budget for gambling. i would say that 5% is still big for gambling.
And better to add that to your future savings.
Because it is better to have savings rather than budget for gambling.

If someone gave me 10 Bitcoin then I would just hold on to them for the future because selling them right now is not going to make me much money.
