There are many #ICO live at this moment. Recently an #ICO named Benebit ,which was scammed and stolen 2 Million!

So, if ICO scam then there is no option for us? What will do Bitcointalk?

Sorry for my bad English.
Thank you

The only way you can do for now is to move on and choose carefully what ICO are you going to join. You need to have time to investigate and research before putting your hard earned money into  ICO. As much as possible invest what you can afford to lose and don't put all your eggs in one basket.

Doing a deep research on new ico project is the key. It is a pity that  Benebit failed. The losers should take hart and lick their wounds.

It's better to prevent being scammed rather than running after these guys. Unless you have the money and time. You are better of learning more about the crypto space and reality as it is what you'll need to succeed here.

Bitcointalk aren't police. They can't arrest those persons involved. But if investors know the team, they can surely sue them.

That's why you need a thorough research before investing your money in ICOs.
You shouldn't just jumped in because it looks good on paper.
Scammed ICOs usually offer too good to be true returns. You need to stay away from them.

We can't do anything Smiley. Cryptocurrency isn't legalized in any country yet so when you use cryptocurrency to invest in any ICO project and scammed, the government will not care about it and of course the police won't help you solving this problem. I think you only can accept the loss and try to earn by investing in other legit projects Smiley. Beside you should create a topic about scam project to let other member know and stay away from it Smiley

What do you mean by "us"? If you are referring to investors: That's the risk you're running when investing in ICOs, in the end, YOU are the one that decides where to invest. If you are referring to bitcointalk community: Bitcointalk doesn't depend on ICOs

There is no medicine after death bro! The only way one can be at least a higher percentage sure of not being scammed is before investing in such ICO. There is just no way you cannot miss a good team and anyone who decided to do a proper digging on the project and the team usually will never fall a victim.

It seems so many investors just see an ICO, bump straight into it, without bothering much about the feasibility of the project, if the team have a working product, or the possibility of the team delivering even if they end up not being scammers, let alone, being one.
