If people stop buying/trading Bitcoin, then its price will fall since selling pressure will be stronger due to the fear that nobody is buying Bitcoin any longer.

Bitcoin will lose its value if it has no demand which is most likely not gonna happen. Bitcoin has many advantages instead of just for investment purpose. For example, now i can buy some stuff online without using paypal as i don't have cc to pass the paypal verification. My friend can pay subscription in one of adult website with bitcoin which is anonymous instead of using paypal or cc.

Well in that case if people decided not to buy bitcoin the initial effect on that bitcoin value will drop then eventually people will do panic selling until the value become zero value.
