Im still shocked by this thread and discussion being started by a 500 post member in here.. This is like.. the fundamental of any given market, and obv in crypto.. demand and supply - if demand drops to zero, do the math.. I mean, OP cant possibly be serious about this, can he..?
Bitcoin is like a product or service..if others don't find it useful to them..then bitcoin will be like product that is no longer useful..like a junk..but let's not think in that way..lets find new way to make useful again..
Even if people are not buying at this moment, they will most probably buy when the price drops because of the low demand. On the other hand, if they are waiting for the price to climb so they can sell big, that won't happen if there is no demand.
If no one is interested in purchasing bitcoin at this time, the bitcoin price will drop dramatically and other cryptoes such as Ethereum, bitcoincash will replace the bitcoin position.
I agree with you but this is very unlikely because the Cryptocurency market is heavily dependent on Bitcoin, if no Bitcoin buyer is sure this market is hard to survive and could be the end of. the entire Crypto market

Don't worry, I think it is impossible because because 0 volume can't exist. This can happen on exchange only. People use and buy/sell without exchange, local too

I think if the people stop buying bitcoin the volume on the market will going down and there is a chance that the price of bitcoin will dropped to $0. On the other hand, if they stop ln buying it would have a negative in market and I think the market will crash. I think everyone wants to buy and store bitcoin because of its value and potential. I still do not know what will happen if people stop buying Bitcoin because at this moment, I cannot see tough reasons why people will just stop buying Bitcoin because they can see that it is essential and beneficial to buy and have. I personally have begun to move more funds into the strong alt coins. The transaction fee's are BTC's biggest problem!
If people stop buying btc, for sure it wont affect the growth of the btc, because there are tpo many investors that btc has, people are the ones make btc better and we are the ones that make it popular, so it depends to the users and the investors if btc will increase or decrease.

For me, Bitcoin will get affected if people will not use this currency. If people are not using it then what's the purpose of the bitcoin, if that happened today people will be really sad, because they live in bitcoin they can buy their everything they needs, everything that mere useful to them will get with the use of bitcoin.
