Edit: This is gambling site, they have roulette game and binary option.
2 days ago, a stranger sent me a message via Telegram, his nickname is @Joji .
The first, he told me that his country has banned cryptocurrencies. He asked me to help him withdraw bitcoin from spentrade.com . I accepted so I created an account on this website.
He transferred 0.7 btc from his account to my account and asked me make a withdrawal. I did what he said but spentrade.com has frozen my account and asked me deposit 0.02 btc( or 0.7 Eth) to unfreeze.
I told him this issue, and his answer is " he don't has money to solve it, he want me deposit 0.02btc to unfreeze and will pay back".
I saw two problem in here: I don't recieve confirmation email from spentrade.com when I registered, and in the past I created another account to tested with the same email.Of course I refused him.
I can not find any review about this website on google.
Do you guys know about this website?

I think there is no need for this adventure. You may look at other platforms. For example, I don't recommend using binary and gambling on a platform. You can share the risks. For example, there is an ICO about Gambling named Tokenroll. You can use it for gambling. And for the binary option, I am sure there are a lot of platforms. (I never use binaries)

What kind of platform do they have for security. I have read the WP but couldn't find much info about that. Btw, It's Tron based, and looks good.

It is a well known scam attempt. It is a good thing you didn't send any money to the site. Red alarms should go off in your head anytime someone is pretending to do you a favour but you need to deposit and invest some of your own money for that to happen.
yes. because I can not find any information about spentrade.com on google, so I opened this thread to hope that it will give a little information to help others to stay away from this website.

As I have said before this is a planned scam and he may be the owner of the pushing exchange site spentrade.com and he is out to deceive you into visiting the link and after then still your informations such as password and other details or better still trick you into making the small deposits as you were instructed. That balance on the site is a fake figure and have no bitcoin value.

Why this topic is in the Gambling forum?I don't think that spentrade.com is a gambling website.
Why the hell do you want to help random strangers that have sent you messages over Telegram?
Your accounts are frozen for a reason and probably this stranger was violating Spentrade's Terms of Service.
Maybe you have never meet a kind of person like me, if I can help anyone I will do.
It is just creates an account, request withdrawal and send back to him so why I can refuse him?
I still want to help, but when I see 2 issues: I don't see any review or information of spentrade.com on google , and in my mind I have created another account before with the same email( I have never received any confirm email from spentrade).
So I have created this thread to ask information about spentrade.com .
P/s: Maybe you have never accessed spentrade.com so you said it is not gambling site Cheesy
Exactly, it has nothing to do with gambling. Suprisingly, OP's bitcointalk account is considered as old account (created on 2014). Logically, an old account bitcointalk member should have better experience in this kind of thing. I wonder, why did he even care about a message from a stranger. It is simply a scam attempt, looking at how the site looks like. It seems that it is just another site that offers free btc on sign up then give a big win on users from playing like a roulette game then asking for deposit to withdraw the winning money.

Man, If I have no experience, I have deposited 0.02 btc to unfreeze my account.
I opened this topic in hopes of someone sharing their experience in this site before. Smiley

That's a scammer, I think you should be especially careful with games sites that are not verified or that do not have a reputation, you can never deposit money to addresses without being clear about the risk it represents. You must be more cautious, what you stole is not fair, because that type of scammers are those that really damage the game systems, blockchain and everything that has to do with technology.

The next time you never trust making such transactions, there are people who like to get money in a bad way. Therefore that site is a complete scam.

This should be on trading section or rather should be put up on scam accusation. All website that do ask out deposits before you would able to withdraw are just scam and take note this spentrade.com site
is just a clone or fraud site which do came from cex.io.Try to see the similarities.

I hope the OP is not seriously sending money to this site.
That is the usual catch of a shady website. Giving promo but you need to send a certain amount first.
After sending that money, they will disappear into thin air.
Several websites have been doing this cheating strategy for so long and naive users are still getting victimized because of the expectations that they will really get that money.

I think this is the same scam which is being told and reported here too.  https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/new-scam-schema-on-the-forum-5081286
You will be amazed to know that so many sites are involved in this scam to get money from the people.

I also had experienced the same. I forgot the website but it was the same scenario. A guy from telegram was asking mo to withdraw his money and he will pay me for doing so. I noticed it was a scam when I checked ethplorer and the website seems sketchy. Do not entertain strangers sending you a DM in telegram.

A best approach in such situation is to help the guy unless or until you do not have to spend money out of your pocket. If anyone asks for the money in name of help, then ofcourse we should be cautious and avoid sending any money.

Stay out of it if it is not familiar to you only trust a reputable website and not some random popping messages that randomly send you a message that they want their money back. It is a scam, especially that they ask you to deposit first before you get what they ask. Don't follow their orders, stay away from it or block that message. That's how phishing and hacking attempt go.

This mode of fraud is very often encountered and it makes us always have to be aware of an email that we receive. Indeed there are not many reviews of the site because maybe the site was made only temporarily and only aimed at deceiving people. You better just leave all conversations with parties on behalf of the site.

I think this topic should be moved into Beginners & Help section, this does not belong it here in the gambling section.

I am very related to this case that OP's facing right now. First encountered I registered that related site as what OP said details, they had the same strategy used but in my case, that is not gambling site that is exchange site. I was so dumb to follow his instructions and thinking that maybe I can make a profit too by helping him.
To make a long story short, I was found out that the user asking help on me in the telegram was trying to fool me but I discover when I was trying to view the site and it was copypasted exchange with similar UI in other exchange.

I just still lucky I didn't click any malicious link that can harm probably with my PC.
It's very simple OP, just report spam and ignore those kinds of bait techniques.
