If the world uses a single currency, will the economy be more stable?
This is a very interesting question. The sovereign nations issue their own currencies and are taken for granted by many people, but few consider whether this is the economically optimal option.

I think so. One currency can make our money stable.
In other case, using one strong currency with different country development maybe will be problem for some country which has low development.
That is what I am thinking as well when I was in College why would this world just unite to have a single currency? So that it won't make any confusion at all, especially when travelling abroad. Well, as much as we want to for sure all countries would not agree with this kind of agreement as they want to print their respective local tender on their own.

Though what you are imagining is what I can say as a "pipe dream" because the whole world using a single currency would mean either the world will be a single country or every country on Earth would have an alliance and sign a treaty that would tell that the whole alliance will be using a single currency, I might agree with what uou are thinking. The economy would be more stable because shortages would be allocated right away, no war means no need to fund military warfare, and healthcare would be one of the top priorities. So I think that the world will have a stable economy if this so ever happens.

There is a low possibility that the world will have a unified currency. It is because of the greedyness of the world bank. Also its impossible to have a single cryptocurrency because of the high demand of cryptocurrency as of today. But there's always a possibility.

The world can not use single Currency,as every nation have different economic policy, that is relative to there natural resources and business activity.
Yeah you're right every country has its own economy so it's not possible to have only 1 currency for all countries. if there is only 1 currency then there will be a collapse of the country's economy because of the loss of a country's sovereignty to regulate its monetary conditions independently and certainly there will be a country that is profitable because it uses their country's currency. I think 1 currency will not work

It will happen inevitable, just give it enough time, like 100 years from now.
Because whole planet will be only one country, present countries would only be states of that country, and present states would be municipalities.
And the name of that currency would be - 1 Satoshi, that is present 1/100000000 part of bitcoin.

Reason why BTC will be the winner of cryptoverse is not because it is the best tech out there, it will be so because it will stay the most widely supported project by the community and later on other better technological solutions would be gradually integrated into it.

I don't think so that if all world uses a single currency then economy will be more stable. No change of it. Actually this topic is unrealistic, because in our real world this type of idea never come true, now and nor in our future. In short, The major problem in this world huge number of countries have different currencies and every country like his own currency so which will decide that which one currency will be used in all over the world?

I do not think so. Because we know that in the language of the economy - If the demand increases, the supply decreases and the demand decreases if the supply increases.  I want to tell you, its not possible that it will be stable when world will uses single currency.
Then depend on it Demand.

I think the use of single currency will not have a good effect on economic development. Single currency will only make some countries difficult to develop their country. Perhaps the companion currency will be much better suited, we still use the currency in every country and we also use bitcoin as a recognized currency worldwide, it is everyone's hope and hopefully it can be quickly realized.

I'm afraid that will not be possible.
This idea of one coin for all countries approaches the Marxism principles that ultimately lead to communism.

I think we would be better off with having the same crypto regulations (think legal and accounting for blockchain), so independent where you live or do business, you know beforehand what's in store.

But one coin for all countries, it's not good. Basically it oversteps the descentralization principles, the "no monopoly" concept.

If that happens i believe cryptos will have no use anymore, as we all know that the main thing why we venture here is the volatility and competition. Because of the diversified markets chances to make a good income in cryptos are possible, but if the world decides to use a universal one i think there will no diversity at all which may affect the volatility of cryptos. And i think it's not a good thing if that would be happening.

If it were going to happen, the single currency, which I assume bitcoin have to go through a phase during which developed countries would try to own much and influence the price, since economy plays quite a big role in political power. That's why I usually said bitcoin has the power to change global economy and maybe even politics. I seriously doubt that super power countries will cheerfully welcome such currency.

I don't think so. First of all it is impossible to do because of the government, the only reason it would happen is if there will be a world war 3 and all items, goods and services will be unified and centralized. Because there will be a lot of challenges and barrier. Some countries have cheaper materials, some countries way of living are cheaper or expensive.

It would be easier to settle down, no exchange offices would be needed. Trade, unfortunately, would lose. It would not be possible to make a difference between the currencies.

Single currency meaning which country's?Just like USD being used as reserve currency in most of the countries?Already,US is enjoying its benefits as almost all countries are forced to buy crude oil only in USD.Just one country getting huge benefits at the cost of other countries. So,i think that it would not be a solution.

It is possible that economy will become more stable but not totally 100% stable . It is hard to tell the outcome if this happens. But what currency will be using if this happen cryptocurrency or etc. Cryptocurrency price or value still not stable also other currency. Many question will pop-up about stability of economy.

That is too good to be true. I believe instead of the stability of economic would come, it would be a massive instability the economic world. The nation of currency has been built for a long time and most of them have their own story. I believe it would be bad if all of them is abandoned.

yes, I believe that currency can make the world economy stable, but I do not believe if the world can accept the currency. today they are many who reject and resist. and blink as a threat to them.

so in my opinion you are too quick to think. look at how the country has legalized curency as a transaction tool. already 30% they are progressing, such as japan, russia, kanda, USA.
