I'm also not sure one can educate children at home, and not only in relation to the lack of knowledge. The parents'-children relation problem can appear; I can explain this deeper.

You know, from the very birth parents should give their children love and confidence that they (children) are secured and backed up. But on some stage of life children must begin to separate from their family to build their own life. This is a step-by-step process. When they are app.10 years old, children need a person who will make challenges for them, you can call this person a mentor if you wish. Why is it a bad idea for a parent to be a mentor? Just because challenges cannot be without failures. And the reactions of parents and those of mentors must differ! While parents should give their child support, a mentor must give a kick to move forward! If a parent gives a kick instead of supporting, this may hurt a little human. I truly believe we should all play our designated roles!

I don't think that people can teach children the way teachers do. Also, both parents usually work in my country so they don't have time to teach their children. Kids have to socialise with other kids as well.

If we can educate our kids at home why do we need to send them at school?

If socialization is a problem in homeschooling, there are many solutions to that ;-)

ok let's say you have several degrees thta you are qualified to teach your child academically. Now how would you simulate events that could help develop social skills such as initiating communication, dating, heartbreak, building group of friends, etcetera?

I think you can do some of the said above, but it's kinda gross if you would date your child.

2. there are professional teachers who know more than parents
3. parents need to earn money an sometimes don't have enough time to teach children
4. private teachers are too expensive

If the child can assess the pros and cons of the school
In addition, a completely different attitude causes children to study at home, if they have already understood for themselves all the pros and cons of school. There is something to push away from and to compare. By contradiction. Therefore, remembering my experience, I would advise to give the child the opportunity to choose, spending at least the first six months-a year with the class.

The most important element of home schooling is you, the parents. How feasible will this path be for you personally? After all, this is a considerable responsibility. The decision will require you to moral, temporary, and even financial investments. But, on the other hand, you have probably heard about how much the same resources are spent by parents of ordinary schoolchildren on homework and the entire educational process.

Therefore, I think it would be worth trying both ways to know what is most convenient for you and your child.

If you do so, your child can not communicate much with the outside, and this can make your child autistic.

Formal education on a legal institution such as schools offer more than just quality education, it provides the social interaction
and growth that every child has to experience. It molds them more as person in society, gives them ways to adapt and
adjust with people and society. Home school is really a challenging task, I always wanted to be in one when I was
younger, I have to give credits to parents who have done so with their children. I believe sending then to
school is more productive in a child's mental, social, physical, emotional and spiritual state.
It's still the best there is.

The system is set up where you have to work to earn money to live. Most single wages are not enough to live off of. School is kind of like free daycare. It is better to teach at home but most people can't afford to. I am lucky enough to homeschool my child but most are unable. The system is very flawed.

send children in the school an important and necessary action for your kids, only in school a person learns to socialize, find his place in society, defend his beliefs and his thoughts. at home we can not explain much to the child, to the school there are excellent teachers who, in a clear language, explain to the child what is good and what is bad. at school, children learn to be friends and these ideas can be embodied in their happy life. the school is the most important stage of any child. school is a small life.

There is a lots of difference between Home Education which is also refers to as home training and School Education!
You cant possibly give your Kids School Education at home so far you have your day job and that's why schools are created to deal with that!
The only major education we get at home is Morals!

I think governments want our kids to attend schools so they become good little institutionalized citizens that will obey without question.

I don't think that it is going to work that way. The children will remain loyal to the authorities until 14-15 years of age. But after that, when they learn the important things about the government and the authorities, they will start to question them. With each new generation, the kids are getting more and more rebellious.

That's definitely what I've observed with my own kids, they aren't even in high school yet and they already see politicians as pathological liars. I'd say it's mostly from my influence and mistrust of politicians but youtube plays a big part. With access to internet and the ability to choose whatever they want to watch on youtube they are exposed to a much different world view (from trending youtubers) than the main stream media projects on adults.

So 8-10 year olds now pick up on the political views of older kids in the age zone you've used as an example and absorb those views without question. The rebelliousness (if that's a real word) is not such a bad thing in many cases either, I've seen kids filming police breaking the law and questioning the cops because they know the cop has broken the law, they seem to have moral compass that allows them to question anything they think is unjust.

Just guide them properly so they would see the truth only, some of the news in social media is one sided, and worst, misleading. Your influence really plays a great part on your child's judgement on things. That's one good part of educating a child in the house, they learn what you expect them to learn while in schools they would learn different things and probably.

But still, I would like children to be in school than just educating them, it would give them knowledge that I can't give them.

Yes, you do have a point but there are parents who don't have the capacity to teach their children and also the patience for it. That's where a teacher comes in. They are paid to do that and if the children does not go to school because of these reasons then you'll be taking off the jobs of the teachers and their source of income.
