Gambling is a place to spend money, although many gamblers consider casinos to be a place to earn money. But in reality, more gamblers lose their money at casinos or gambling sites. So I think all of us here probably have almost the same experience, namely losing a lot of money gambling

I also lost money because I lost on gambling, but maybe not that much. But I know there are people who spend a lot of money for gambling. In your opinion, what should we do if we have lost a lot of money on gambling? Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?
Gambling means losing money. Gambling is not a job or a business that generates any kind of passive income.  Gambling is a fun place and to have fun here you have to spend money. means you have to buy fun with money and here if you are lucky then you can get some reward through win. Since you cannot win without luck in gambling, you cannot take it seriously and try to earn from it. you should only gamble when you can afford to lose money.

First take a chill pill and relax cause you don't wanna end up chasing those loses and eventually end up losing more and more than you planned to. Rethink the whole senerio of losing that huge amount and ask your WAS IT WORTH THE RISK , if no then you have just acted carelessly and if yes then forget about it.

I've found myself less time than often in such dilemma of losing huge amount, such risk are off limit to me, but in any case every one here has a different view of huge money and I'm my case it may relate to much bigger amount, I really don't fancy losing such amount for any reason so I won't bother staking.
All this being said about what a person should do when he is she loses a huge sum of money to gambling; I think all this is overrated if I am asked, it is a very common rule that gamblers should not bet more than what they can comfortably afford to lose, but unfortunately, greed has eaten deep into some and most gamblers minds that they no longer regard and observe this simple rule in their gambling activities.

Who ever is betting with a big amount of money should be able to bear it if and when he to she loses it, why? Because, from the onset, he or she is already aware that gambling is a two way thing in terms of outcome, you either will lose, or you win, every gambler knows this, so, then do they commit huge amount of money they themselves know that they can't afford to lose; to gambling if not greed?
This is why I personally no longer pity people who lose huge amount of money to gambling, why? Because it's their call, they called for it, so why the wailing? It is commonly said that if winning will make you happy, losing also should make you feel the same, or not too far from the same, why.? Because, winning and losing are completely normal in gambling, and in life itself.

If we can think intelligently, actually gambling is not a place to make money. Most people think that by risking their money and using special strategies for gambling, they can double their money. But the fact is that gambling is always not easy to predict, whatever the results are, they are always achieved randomly and we can't keep going win at gambling, but when they realize that actually gambling is a game for fun and we are like being in a game where we have to pay for each game that is offered and play in it we get money like a bonus and you could say a discount from the game we play. because it has returned the money we have been playing with, although not all of it.

If we experience defeat in gambling, one thing we have to do is stop if we feel the loss is big enough for us. Don't be careless in continuing to chase losses, hoping to cover the losses we experience because what we have is increasing the losses, stop for a moment to calm our minds. Really it is important to restore our mentality which was down and come back again when our hearts are calm, but be careful and not be careless in betting, if yesterday's losses don't come back then just let it go, don't try to chase losses which will end up being more risky.

~ and alot feels that yes gambling is a place to make money,to double your income but nah,but they are doing this cause they are so much addicted and can't deviate from it now. ~

This is a misconception that leads to even greater losses and increased likelihood of becoming a gambling addict. Therefore, I would caution gamblers against wrong thoughts about gambling. Gambling is primarily a recreational activity, not a job or a side job. Get rich on gambling only a few and judging by the statistics of winnings gambler himself has almost no influence on it. So play gambling just for fun and maybe you will ever be lucky.

Yes it is a misconception that will be fatal, I'm pretty sure that it seems like most gamblers are now involved with carrying such a mindset where they come with the intention and purpose of earning and they think that gambling can be used as a place to earn. In my opinion one of the reasons why a gambler can misunderstand gambling is because from the start they only focus on one thing, namely the “winning opportunities” that exist in gambling that can multiply the capital they bring, by focusing too much on that then obviously indirectly your mind will be distracted from other facts in gambling that are real and should not be ignored, namely the risk of losing which in gambling the percentage of losses is much higher than wins and this is the reason why you suffer more losses than wins, because winning will only happen “occasionally” and by chance when luck comes.

Another thing is that obviously in the end such a mindset will lead them to the phase of addiction unconsciously which is a situation that will lead a gambler to many problems that sometimes make them end up with depression. On the other hand, it is clear as you said that gambling is nothing more than a place that can only be used to find entertainment or fun when you are bored in the middle of leisure time, absolutely not allowed to put hopes on winning let alone thinking about making money, because however the idea will never work and will instead lead them to many downturns and I would say that no one has managed to get rich just by gambling unless they are a dealer or owner of the casino itself. So obviously this is why we are always advised to only take gambling as a place for fun without putting any expectations on winning.

Imo is not a smart move to always have the urge of wanting to get what one have loss back or chasing after losses. Because when one has began to have such mindset or thought of getting that they have loss I their gambling sections, they may endup magneting more losses to themselves. So chasing after losses isn't encouraging at all, when one encountered any forms of losses in Their gambling, is better to call it a day. So that they can have enough time to get their head back in the game.

Taken gambling as a form of getting rich quick or as a source of earning is never a good start because gambling is a form of entertainment. Though one can earn some extra cash by hitting the jackpot but still doesn't mean that one should take it as a source income.

It is classic, the one who chases defeats and the one who insists on playing every day to see if he can win the seventh of the game, that is the worst thing he can do, besides the other common mistake is that some person believes that they can makes a millionaire from Today to Tomorrow, that is something almost impossible, when I play I do it to see if I can win, but not a lot but a little, I have been looking for a way to obtain profits but even if it is only a few, that is, I will have profits 2 , 3 dollars a day, that is better than losing, sometimes I bet 100usd and when I see that I have like 20usd left to bet and I end up losing it, then that has made me think about whether I should change my way of life, because that is not good to lose and always be looking for losses, if my strategy goes well I will gladly share it.

There is no strategy that you will use in gambling to stop your losses. As long as it is still gambling, you will most likely lose. That is just a fact. Unless you modify your losses, or just quite the gambling entirely, if gambling works for profit or all money that you have already put in gambling will be returned to you or there is even a possibility to win back all that you put in, then I think the number of people to get rich will not be in a small quantity. Because a lot has been put into gambling already, and more is still being put in. Which almost all the time we do face losing, but still you continue gambling. To me the best way to address gambling is either to quite it, or you just continue but always know you budget in other to manage your expenses in gambling, and we should always know that gambling is never a form of getting money quick, but only a form to early grave, because gambling depression is capable of killing a person so with gambling anything can happen.

Any gambler that has such mindset then it is a very wrong one. In gambling you don't have to chase your loses and once you do, there are two things that will happen to the person. The person will become a gambling addict and also he will lose more everytime. And to avoid all that, the person just need to gamble what he have and leave. And if he wins, he takes it and if he loses, he should still take it and not to chase his loses. And a responsible gambling is the best option for the person and not street gambling. Street gambling is the one gamblers engaged without thinking what is next. And they only gamble to survive.

actually when you gamble always consider that lose is on the way and you are just having bonus once you won in those bets that is the truth in gambling world that we must understand ,because admit it that we are having fun and happiness while in the table so how could we ask for more?
gamble and enjoy thats it , when you get luck and win then be thankful.
Before playing gambling, people should understand that losing is part of gambling and losing is a risk in gambling, so there is no need to complain about losing and also losing a lot of money when gambling because if you still complain, you should not gamble, gambling is not just about winning and can make money. People can only become rich because there are risks involved that people have to understand. I think when people experience defeat they should be able to understand and understand that it is part of gambling.

So as gamblers we have to be more open-minded and accept it even though it's bitter, but it all depends on your mindset at the beginning before playing gambling because basically it depends on your mindset too, for example if we think that gambling is part of entertainment, of course when we experience defeat we will lose. is considered normal because the mindset is that gambling is for something that is just for fun, so it doesn't matter how many losses one experiences, it's different if you gamble to make money, usually you will feel annoyed and disappointed when you lose and find it difficult to accept it.  Wink

approaching gambling as a form of entertainment is the healthiest perspective. When you gamble, it's crucial to accept that losses are just as much a part of the experience as the occasional wins. This mindset helps in managing emotions and expectations effectively.

It's also important to view any winnings as a bonus. Celebrating those moments when luck is on your side can indeed add to the joy of the experience. If gambling starts to stress you out or feels like a financial burden, it might be time to rethink how you're doing it or to take a break. It shouldn't be a source of financial hope or emotional stress, it's about enjoyment and entertainment. We should keeping this in mind.

The most important thing is that the chance of losing is much bigger than winning.
Most gamblers should realize and accept this fact first before they start gambling, they should never think that their winning chance is bigger.
Later gamblers should also never think that winning chance is bigger after several losing moments.
Trying to recover is fine because it is human nature, not only in gambling but also in many other things where money is involved.
But again back to the first rule, we should realize that winning chance is not getting bigger after loses (no matter how long or how much we have lost).

I read and agree with you, but I remember myself when I lost several games in a row. Then that little thing happens in your head and you want to prove that you are not a loser and now you will take back what you gave away so easily, but every time losing plunges us deeper and deeper, it’s terrible, this happened to me several times and I don’t want to do it again.

After a loss, the most important thing is not to go crazy and not plunge yourself to another bottom, but this can be done and done. I just want to tell the players don't turn off your brain and just stop and give yourself at least 1 day to think about what happened, and don't run to all your friends to lend us money.

Oh it sounds like you’ve really been through the wringer and learned some key lessons the hard way. Keeping a cool head is super important, especially after a loss. Sometimes, the best move is just to take a break and clear your head. What I can say? Keep mind chill and play within your limits.

The first thing to understand is that chasing losses is a flawed strategy from the outset. Gambling should primarily be seen as a form of entertainment. Enjoy the games and genuinely celebrate the moments when luck is on your side. However if you find yourself on a losing streak, consider taking a break. Your gambling experience should be enjoyable and light-hearted. If it brings more sadness than joy, it's time to stop

The gambling is the game which give us some entertainment, but we should use the free money to get the fun from the gambling. The gambling doesn’t provide you the loss, sometimes the gambling sites will give you enough money for the future by the big win.The big win was the asset of the gamblers, with my gambling experience.I had come across hundreds of gambler, from that only the people who was in longer period was earning good money from the gambling. The big win favour the old traders all the time,So do active participation in the gambling to get big win one day.
Gambling is an entertainment for someone who's knows very well concerning gambling and other things it takes for gambling, when you gambles every other person's will see you like your a money conscious person, so for you to gamble you need to concentrate and you need to understand the basics things of gambling, and majority that gamblers today doesn't gamble because of fun rather they gambled because of entertainment and it's ways of understanding of gambling, you can not enter into gambling without benefiting anything, your mindset to gamble is to make money.

In my opinion if you can't win by gambling then it is better to quit gambling. Actually gambling is played for fun. Gambling depends on technique and luck if you are lucky then you can win gambling and if you are not lucky you can not win. If you want to recover losses by gambling, you may lose more than recover. If you have enough money and ability to lose money then you can gamble for fun but never gamble for income.

Do we keep gambling to win so we can cover up previous losses? or stop and work normally and leave gambling? Or do you have other suggestions?
It's definitely not to keep gambling to cover up previous losses as the gambling should only be for entertainment and not to look for source of income. If you are afraid to lose that money and you play thinking to double your money or for profit, then you should not be playing in the first place.

If it happens that you lose, it's better to stop playing and wait for you to first cool down before playing again but not to cover your previous losses. Just keep in mind that you are playing to entertain yourself and not to look for a new source of income.

You know. In my experience, when comes to losses and gambling one of the most important parts is the cool down period after realizing one has lost money to the casino (or other gamblers, in the case of bets). The first instinct of any gambler (specially if we are talking about a novice gambler) when they see losses is to try to break even with the casino, and thrus they take more risks than necessary for the sake of breaking even. Some gamblers do not even call it chasing losses, some of them calle it "revenge gambling" or going after "revenge" against the casino.
There have been a few I stances I have seen on the internet when gamblers go for revenge and manage to get their money back and perhaps a little bit more than expected, however, that is not the rule, it is the exception.

Before going for revenge or chasing losses, it is better to breathe and to log out the casino, do some other activity for us not to think about losses.

      -     It has been repeatedly mentioned here in the forum that when we lose or run out of gambling, it is very simple: we stop for that day and come back another day. That's it. Because you may be salty or just unlucky and unlucky. Because if we continue and bring in money as well, for sure the amount will only increase, and you will lose in the end.

Let's not allow our greed in such a situation anymore, because if they don't do something like this, for sure they are chasing their losers, and as they do this, their losers will only get bigger and luck will go away.

Nevertheless, I can tell you how people get to this state. I had a friend who worked in a hard, low-paying job. He was desperate and dreamed of finding a place with a good income.  The routine of poverty was eating him up. And he always believed that he was worthy of more, so he was engaged in Forex and then began to play poker and casinos. And literally from the third bet in the casino, he won $ 2,000! It was an unrealistically huge amount of money for him. And at that moment, he realized that he always wanted to earn like this. He began to consider himself an expert and look for the secrets of the casino.

The main idea that I want to convey is that this is how people begin to hope for earnings from the casino. Stable and large. And this is really the first step towards addiction.
